This Kathmandu grill restaurant and wine bar garden was perfect for me thawhay I am so impressed and parking also huge campare to the thamel area off course food and beverage also reasonable price kitchen and service (all the staff) service was great. I just give four star because they have to prepare for more clean and tiny..

The waiters were impeccable. They make you feel very welcome and they are always with a smile on their faces. The prices are perfect for low budget and you don’t expect the food to be so good. The steaks are delicious and the sauces that are combined with full of flavour. But I would highly recommend it for the staff. Again all the waiters are so kind!!!! Best service.

Very good nepalese food! We were here as a group and were very happy 😊 the stuff is attentive, the food excellent (cannot comment regarding western options though) and has a cozy sitting area in an inner yard, not directly by the street. We do recommend this place 😀

The staff of the restaurant have every reason to be proud of the food, service and atmosphere that they’ve created for their guests. Great value for money. We ordered mainly Nepalese food (veg dal hat etc) and veg Momos - it was delicious. The service is very attentive and the folk music was a nice extra touch. Just quite touristic and buzzing, so it is not a cozy hideout.

Price is on the higher end but the atmosphere and service is fantastic. The Chicken Jalh Momo is the best entry level food into Nepalese cuisine.

The place was a bit pricey compare to other restaurants in Katmandou. But the waiter Rishi dhamala was amazing, always helpful and smiling. We enjoyed the main nepalese dish coming with unlimited rice or lentils soup. Gorgeous

This is our 2nd time dining here jn a week because food was just impeccable. The owner was nice and accommodating to allow us to "customise" a dish (grilled trout), and oh boy was it the highlight of the night! He also recommended the tandoori murg which was equally juicy and bursting with flavour. Every dish was unique and delicious. We have another 10 more days here and would definitely be back here once more before we fly. 100% recommend!

Great food and great ambiance. We tried veg thali for dinner, as a light eater one portion was big enough for two people and unlike most places the veggies were fresh and full of flavors. There was also soothing live music in the background. The staff was attentive, a bit too attentive. We had around 3-4 staffs (Servers, waiters, manager) constantly checking on us.

Very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed some amazing chili chicken and Dal bhat and received great service from the staff. It's also slightly outside of the noisy hustle and bustle of thamel. They were friendly and talked to me (a foreigner) about Kathmandu and Nepal. Come have a drink or dinner here, you won't regret it.

After a couple of weeks trekking the steak I had was amazingly good. Two weeks of little more than dahl baht left me craving some meat! And Kathmandu Grill delivered.

I was happy with my meal, until the maitre d submitted my bill. He, not subletly, sought that I add a service charge. With over 80 days in Nepal, this was the first time I rudely received this expectation. He should have left things to my waiter, who was excellent, and deserved a tip. I had a vegetarian pizza. It was satisfactory but I have received better value elsewhere in Thamel. I requested tomatoes and I received onions instead. The "special" dessert was pricey but enjoyable; not that I would order it again. The restaurant atmosphere is nice.

Highly recommend I had Nepali Food, tasty was amazing. Mouth watering foods with very well-behaved staffs team. But, I genuinely feel like there is lack of staff.

The food and ambience has just set the mood right. Cherry on top was the Live Nepali Folklore. We had ordered mushroom buttons and it was spectacular. The salad it comes with has the tingy taste which just hit different.

Restaurant with Cultural Experiences ! I recently visited Kathmandu Grill second time to celebrate my guest birthday and once again I had a fantastic dinning experience. They have also started live "Nepali Folk Music" at restaurant. The musicians played traditional instruments such as the madal, sarangi, and flute, creating a unique and authentic cultural experience !

It is a good choice for those who want to admire a combination of tasty food and calm garden-type ambience! Murj Malai Tikka together with naan (a special tandoori bread) is very delicious! After 6 p.m. you may enjoy local folk music, which creates a nice ambience

Apart from broccoli purée, noting tasted good. Don’t be fooled by the reviews like me. The grilled chicken stuffed fillet was extremely dry as though the Grillmaster doesn’t know at what temperature to bring it down, oils y finish it after two bites. The tandoori murg was dry as hell, well you can grate it to make spicy chicken powder I guess. The chicken tikka was so so and the momo was decent but not fresh made but kept frozen as though when they served it watery liquid was coming from inside after first bite making sure it was frozen for longer time and not made fresh. The surprise was they gave the feeling of a fine dine but no one came to ask about the taste or experience of the food, rather quietly ignore as because of my skin color maybe cause they were very prompt to two other table with more fair skin tone people. I just laughed at that cause they could have easily got me into spending more than any other table at that time cause it was my last day at Nepal and I was on a spending spree, judging by cover was not wise I guess. Anyway it’s a long review, they are an old establishment with good reviews but to me it is not totally worthy at all with the amount they charge and the quality of food and service. Hope they improve and people don’t feel down after visiting them.

Kathmandu grill restaurant is definitely one of the best restaurant in Kathmandu. The food is excellent, good quality and delicious. The staff are unbelievably nice, always serving with smile and polite conversation.

I had the pleasure of dining at Kathmandu Grill for dinner yesterday, and once again, it did not disappoint! The food here is consistently amazing, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I tried their dal Bhat set, paneer kulcha, dal tadka and the flavors were outstanding. I can't get enough of their delicious Indian Nepali cuisine. My lunch experience at Kathmandu Grill was equally fantastic. The quality of the food is consistently top-notch, and the friendly staff make every visit enjoyable. I tried some of their signature dishes paneer biryani and pulao, and they never fail to impress with their authentic flavors. For breakfast on the following day, I couldn't resist returning to Kathmandu Grill. Their breakfast options were a delightful surprise, and I couldn't get enough of their fresh and flavorful offerings of aloo paratha and puri bhaji . The staff's warm hospitality added to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, my two-day culinary journey at Kathmandu Grill has been nothing short of amazing. The food is consistently superb, and the staff's warmth and friendliness create a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I can't get enough of this place!

Lovely food and service (my server was Mahesh) at Kathmandu Grill. I ordered the pork one night and for my very last meal in Nepal, I had the vegetarian Dal Bhat. Both were delicious.
