This is the best momo I’ve had in Thamel! Highly recommend. Also included is the sign outside the restaurant as it’s a little difficult to find.

Great place to get some work done. Hard to find good internet for zoom calls. It's +- 20mb/s and silent enough. If you want soft jazz music in the evenings accompanied by a delicious plate of steaming momos, this place is for you. Follow sisters home to reach the place. Very small lane.

Great little cafe in the back of a street in Thamel! We found this place through trip advisor, because you couldn't really find it by walking past, because it is tucked away in a little side street. All profits are for a good cause (to support kids in Nepal), so therefore it is kind of mandatory to try this place out. They really care about the food as well. It takes a little while to arrive, because they prepare it fresh there and then. I had the tofu burger (I am a meat eater, but I try to eat less meat), and it tasted great. The staff could not be any friendlier either. I would certainly recommend this place.

Very beautiful restaurant with a very noble cause: 100% of profit goes to a charity project for street children of Nepal. And really nice staff, nice ambience and i really like it. Reasonable price as well. I wish i discovered this beautiful place before...! I went only today after recommendation from Google. Thanks to Google. It's indeed a hidden gem as you called it! Only one thing that could be better, according to my friend, is that the plastic straws can be avoided by replacing with other options, eg, metallic or paper, etc

Completely not for profit, 100% of there proceeds go to helping street children! Really good coffee - a variety of hot and cold options. Decent food menu, yummy baked goods, and good bar menu. Very nice ambience and decor - a good quiet place to have a cozy chat, spend time alone, or relax in the midst of the hectic market area.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced - but even if it was pricier I wouldn’t mind since 100% of the profits go to projects supporting street children in Nepal. Great music and general vibe :)

Feels like an island of rest in the busy Kathmandu hive. Contrary to many other establishments in the area this is not a tourist trap. The prices are more than reasonable and they got a mean brew on tap. Either a crisp craft lager called kumbu kolsh or Himalayan red, a mild accessible IPA. We feel at home immediately and will be returning soon to try their interesting dishes. Turns out their profits go towards street children so you can get drunk on a budget with class and in the meantime gain karma points.

Lovely cafe, non profit, quieter than other places on Friday night. Worth a visit, good coffee and local craft beer. I ordered tofu burger which was delicious. Pay a visit ;)

Very good place, they are very careful with the clients, the food is very good and cheap. Small street, far enough from the noise. Very good homemade lemonade ! Best wifi in town ! And I think they changed the name, now it’s called : CAFE CENTRAL BAR !

Cafe With No Name is a not for profit café in Thamel that provide 100% of their profits to local children's charities. The café is pretty trendy with a cool decor. The menu is pretty different from other local cafés with all their drinks being homemade, no cokes, sprites etc. The food choices didn't quite entice - but that's just down to personal dislike of olives! The homemade lemonade and lemon ice tea were very sour, even with the sweetener. But they jacket potatoes were pretty tasty, sadly one looked a little off colour - hence the mixed review.

100% Profits go to Our Sansar street children in Nepal, small but very exciting menu. Popular with tourists. Funky feel, top wifi, just down a narrow lane. Reasonable coffee, brownies. Very very good 60,s 70,smusic

Excellent place to hang out. They have good quality craft beer if you're tired of Everest or tuborg. Had the French cheese board which was excellent. Will be back for more and would highly recommend this place.
