Really great place to hangout with friends and family. I really enjoyed the place and environment too. The structure and design was very great which pulled my attention on this place. The shops and restaurants which have really hygienic food. The art galleries and the craft related shops was well decorated which was amazing it self. The place seem to be cozy but then the place have its own beauty in it. I love the place and the equipment which it has on the areas. The place was well decorated and designed.

This place is so fine ( ambience and architecture). You could go there with your friends to have fun. I felt like they could do more with the menu and the food. The menu was limited and the food for me was kinda ok the price is comparatively is higher than average restaurants.

Beautiful place to visit for tourists & visitors. Quaint building with a rich history of the Rana’s. Now with restaurants & small high end stores. Lunch at Mulchowk was superb, shopping at Pasal & a sweet store of a lady from Amsterdam - she was too beautiful- sadly forgot the name. Parking is a big issue here otherwise great place to go.

Wow. What an absolutely spectacular hotel this is. I’ve stayed at it several times now and each time is better than the last. The staff is so friendly. The food and beverages are amazing. It’s slightly off the beaten path and so extremely quiet - especially for Kathmandu - and it’s connected to a host of bars, restaurants, and shops. I really love staying here and would highly recommend it!

It is unique place to visit in Kathmandu . Nice restaurant and many handicraft shop which are very unique compare to other metal handicraft shop in Kathmandu, Place is very clean and less people so visitors can feel more comfortable.do not forget to visit Siddhartha Art Gallery which exhibits different art in different occasion. Food in restaurants in this place are moderate

This place is as according to its name. MAHAL (Palace), a complete palace to explore but I was really disappointed when they didn't allow to take pictures even from our phones. It seemed like they don't want this place to be popular. Sophisticated as it seems, the kitchens inside have a lot to offer in a expensive menu but really bad customer service for what we pay. For the shops inside, they are fine. Would love to visit again but without any restrictions to explore.

Baber Mahal Revisited Mulchowk Restaurant and Bar The colonial architecture is beautiful. Very popular among diplomats in Kathmandu, Nepal. Very nice place to hang out with friends and family to get away from the crowded city. It's a historical place and bit expensive. Amazing place to walk around. The place is melange of art, history, food and shopping. There is many small shops inside Baber Mahal Revisited for buying Nepal based souvenirs. This baked cheese cake is dense and creamy filling which will melt in your mouth. It has a velvety texture, rich and thick too. It was slightly burnt on the top as well, and crust were perfectly flat. A perfect sweet treat to enjoy in the warmer months of the season. It's big enough for 2 person. I could not finish all of it there, remaining i brought it back to Bangladesh 😂 and also forgot to keep it in refrigerator the whole time, but the funniest part is it didn't get spoiled at all and was edible :D I have tried baked cheesecake. Price : 807 Nepali Rupee (Tax and service charge included) 📍 Location : Tanka Prasad Sadak, Kathmandu 44600, Nepal Overall Experience : Food : 9.5/10 Intererior : 10/10 Service : 9.5/10 ⚠️ This is my personal opinion. Thank you! ❤

The place was beautiful although i had visited and paid for the photo session, only to find that there were workers working with all the dust and garbage which completely ruined my engagement photo/video session. I called and booked them over the phone however no one cared to let us know about the work going on there, hence was a very bad experience. A bit of communication would’ve helped instead of ruining a special day for us.

was there for an art exhibition. Must say, a really well renovated property with courtyards of shops and cafes. Siddhartha art galley might be hard to find at first (the space feels like a maze to the new ones)

Love this place: so calm and distinguished. A heritage site (former palace stables) converted into a comercial ensemble in a very interesting way.

Food and staff were great but in the middle of our breakfast we were interrupted by the manager who told us breakfasts only for guests who stayed the night even though we had reminded him we had called the day before and were told the same day as well breakfast could be served without having to stay. He could have waited to say that after we had our breakfast.

Nifty place, albeit quite pricey for the area, and some parts still under construction (as of Sep 2022). Be aware that many shops don't open until like 11 or noon, so if you get there earlier, all you can really do is walk around the courtyards and maybe grab a bite to eat.

The place is wonderful. Ambience is great, specially in the evening. A good place to shoot pictures/videos too. However, I didn't quite like the taste of the food. It was bland which wasn't what I expected in the first place.

It is very beautiful place in Kathmandu. It is also a historical place. There are different restaurants and shops inside the palace. I find it expensive but the premises is beautiful. It is truly a palace.

Really fell in love with this ancient architecture building. It's been covered into a mall with branded retail outlets and fine dinning restaurant. Great place to hang out with friends to get away from the crowded city.

Very beautiful royal ambiance at core of city. Slightly expensive but worth it. Best time is for dinner after sunset when the lights makes the ambiance glow.
