I am very pleased with my experience exploring Nepal for a week thanks to Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. The owner Bishnu Bhatta personally answered all my enquiries in a timely manner even before I came to Nepal. I requested to have a photographer while exploring Kathmandu sights and to experience paragliding while in Pokhara. Bishnu organized and incorporated those requests into my itinerary and they both exceeded my expectations. When I got to Nepal, Bishnu would message me on WhatsApp every day to check on me making sure that everything was going smoothly according to my itinerary. This made me feel secure since I was traveling solo. I was placed in comfortable hotels where I felt safe at all times. I had an amazing personal driver named Bhubi who drove me all over Kathmandu, Chitwan, and Pokhara for a week. He was not only professional but also very kind. He went out of his way to accompany me to sights and take my photos instead of just waiting in the car which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to explore Nepal, you would not regret it.

First of all, I would like to thank Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure for providing such a wonderful journey. At the age of 72, I wanted to see Mt. Everest for myself. I compared several agents and finally I selected Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure's "Everest Panorama Trek.". My choice paid off. Leaving Japan: October 28, 2023 ~ Return to Japan: November 15, 2023 I. Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure "Quick response" is noteworthy. During business hours, I usually received a response within one hour. Bishnu Bhatta (CEO) was concerned about my health and came to check on me every morning at breakfast while I was in a hotel in Kathmandu. He bought me a SIM so I could contact him anytime, but as the size didn't fit, I couldn't use it. But I was happy with his consideration. Since my flight departed at 11:15 p.m., he negotiated with the hotel to let me use the room free of charge until 9 p.m. II. 8 days Trekking My guide Pancha and the porter Hira were excellent. Pancha walked a little ahead of me and looked back at me frequently, checking my pace and matching me. Hira walked right behind me and I felt like I was being guarded. Pancha prepared a fruit plate after every dinner. I was glad to be able to eat fruit while trekking. I was able to enjoy the view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), and Ama Dablam (6856m) from the Everest View Hotel. At the Everest View Hotel, I was tired so Pancha suggested a short route. And thanks to the short route, I made it back to Lukla safely. III. Kathmandu The following activities were held in Kathmandu. All of these were well prepared and everything went well. Meeting at the airport (I received a pretty flower necklace.) Chandragiri Hills sightseeing Nepali dinner while watching Nepali dance Sightseeing to 4 World Heritage Sites Seeing off at the airport (I received a Nepalese hat and scarf. We took part on the Everest mountain flight and it was smooth from start to finish. We had our tickets brought to our hotel the day before and were supplied transport to and from the airport. Great views from up high and the airline staff were very knowledgable and helpful at pointing out the mountains by name. It doesn’t matter what side of the plane you sit on as the plane will turn so both sides can see. It’s an early start but you will be back at your hotel for breakfast. A once in a lifetime opportunity!

When we arrived in Kathmandu, we did not have a trekking plan. Our hotel, Himalayan Ghar, put us in contact with Bishnu and Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures. Bishnu met with us over three mornings to get an understanding our goals and our family’s needs, considering we were trekking with a 12-year old and had online work obligations. He quickly arranged a perfect and flexible trek to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri to suit our specific needs. He was so efficient with making arrangements, we left within a couple of days. Prem, also of Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures, accompanied us on a shopping trip to purchase last-minute necessary gear and ensure we were treated fairly by shop merchants. The guide and porter Bishnu hired were incredibly caring, knowledgeable and flexible and helped us to successfully reach Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Ri. Bishnu remained in contact with us daily to ensure our trip was going well. We loved our time in the Everest Region and our success and pleasure were due to the kind and caring practices of the Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures and their employees. They excel at planning personalized and flexible experiences and follow through exceedingly well at all stages of the trip. We strongly recommend this company, as you will feel well cared for throughout your entire trip and enjoy the personalized experience. Additionally, this company is local and hires all local individuals. It is important to support the local Nepali people and businesses with your travel dollars. Working with Bishnu and his team was pleasure and a highlight of our travels in Nepal.

On my visit to Nepal we visited Kathmandu, Pokara, Ghandruk and Chitwan. The Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure team was incredible with organising the trips and were so welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Especially Prem Alemagar who was extremely helpful and is such a wonderful person. No request was too much, he goes above and beyond to ensure that our experience in Nepal was amazing and it was the best time of my life. The saddest part was having to go home when our time in Nepal was over. I highly recommend anyone who is travelling to Nepal to connect with the Himalayan Adventure team.

I have just finished a tour with Bishnu and his team and it has been an incredible experience. The tour was well-organized, informative, and fun. They were very friendly and accommodating, and they made sure that everyone in the group was comfortable and enjoying themselves. I was really bad at hiking and Bishnu was very kind to support and encouraged me to complete the hike. I am truly grateful to him and his team. They were really attentive to details and made great effort to take care of us. Even prior to booking of the tour, Bishnu was really patient to answering all my queries and help me with all the recommendations and planning. Visiting Nepal for the first time and not knowing what to expect. One of our best choice made for choosing to follow what was planned for us by Himalayan Sanctuary. Bishnu and team are always so helpful in assisting and helping us with what we need, and accommodating to our last minute requests throughout the trip. Throughout our short 2D1N trek, they have been very assuring and helping us with our bags even when they have a full load themselves. Not only that, Bishnu has been helping to snap photos of us throughout our journey, leaving us more photos to bring home with! The team has made our first trip to Nepal a very memorable one and we’ll definitely look for them again when we are ready to visit this beautiful country again. 😊
