This summer began our search for a trek and trekking agency to hike in October, in Nepal. Nepal trekking experts was recommended to us by a friend who was very satisfied with the organization and experience of his trek. From the first emails with Rajesh, who runs Nepal trekking experts, we had a very good feeling. Rajesh was very quick and professional in answering our questions and went straight to work on our personal requirements. Other agencies were more insistent or did not give concrete answers. Rajesh recommended the breathtaking Annapurna Circuit and Tilicho Lake Trek and paired us with a fantastic guide, Rajan, and porter, Ram. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Rajesh had taken care of everything: we were picked up at the airport and taken to a very good hotel, Rajesh came to pick us up the next day to go through all the details of the trek in his office, and even in the evening, he invited us for a nice meal with another Belgian couple. After all, we would be spending the first few days of the trek with the other couple and Rajesh had introduced us to them over dinner. It was a very nice evening and it immediately clicked between the four of us, so we had a very nice start to the trek and continued to travel together after the trek. Rajan was so much more than what we expected from a guide, he has tremendous expertise as a guide and is extremely competent. He always made sure we had a great time everywhere we went, was very good at judging how we were feeling or what we needed when we were having a hard time, told wise and beautiful stories, taught us a bit of Nepali, had a lot of knowledge about the places and nature we were trekking through, supported us in more technical parts of the trek and liked to keep us company in the evening with a game of dumball or yahtzee. We felt very comfortable with Rajan and couldn't imagine a better travel companion afterwards! Ram, the porter, was also a very fine companion. He was always ready to help where needed and spoke enough English to exchange stories, personal trivia and jokes. The whole trek felt very personal with Rajan and Ram, they truly made our experience an unforgettable one that we will be able to look back on for a long time to come. We are very grateful to Nepal Trekking Experts for managing the trek and recommend the agency and its team one hundred percent!

Nepal trekking experts review I would highly recommend Rajesh and the Nepal trekking experts team to anyone looking for an outstanding, worry free, and fun adventure to the Himalayas. From the pre-trip email inquiries, airport pickup, hotels in kathmandu, detailed packing list, walk through of the trek, and general support in kathmandu Rajesh was incredible. He is responsive, detailed, and extremely helpful no matter what your question is and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in the success of the treks and happiness of the clients. Whenever you come to visit he’s always, smiling, supportive, and gives you his full attention (while also offering you a drink)! On the trek Lok and Santos were incredible guides who did an exceptional job of gauging the group capability and adjusting the itinerary accordingly. The entire trip was expertly managed, stress free, and allowed us (the clients) to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Himalayan mountains while the guides managed all of the logistics. I personally did the Manaslu + Tsum valley trek which was incredible and the Tsum valley is definitely a hidden gem of trekking in the Himalayas. I would highly recommend Nepal trekking experts to anyone interested in trekking in Nepal and will definitely use them when I come back! Thanks so much to Rajesh, Lok, and the nepal trekking experts team for an incredible experience! Ps. I would rate Nepal trekking experts 6 stars if I could. They really work hard to make sure your Nepal trekking experience is incredible and they take a lot of pride in the success and happiness of their clients!

Simply the best! Rajesh, Basantha and the team have been excellent both for pre booking trip information and during the trip. All our expectations were met and the customised approach was amazing. We as a family of 4 had to ensure our children (ages 10 and 12) were well catered and cared for throughout our trip and the team ensured that we got the best available throughout our hike to EBC. Do not hesitate with booking with Nepal Trekking experts...a great customised trip to EBC with a company you can trust from the point you land to the point you leave. So glad to have gone with this team, and I will be recommending them to others

We completed the 19-day Manaslu Circuit Track via the Upper Route guided by Ganesh and Gakul from Nepal Trekking Experts. We had the most amazing time and were able to experience and learn about the country, people and culture from Ganesh and Gakul along the way. Both have extensive trekking experience and looked after us in every way possible, accommodating all our needs and wishes. With everything taken care of by Ganesh and Gakul we were able to relax completely and enjoy the beautiful Nepalese landscape fully. They helped us out when the going got tough and when we caught a cold to get us back on our feet quickly. Ganesh and Gakul made our trip even more special and fun because of the many laughs and good times we enjoyed together. The Upper Manaslu Route was spectacular with amazing views and all on walking tracks (no roads). If you want to trek Nepal on remote tracks where people live their traditional life’s, feeling safe and supported, then I highly recommend booking with Nepal Trekking Experts.

If you are looking for the best choice trek in Nepal go for Nepal expert trekking. Don’t waist your time trying to find somewhere else in Katmandu! This review might be long but describe my real statement about my Manaslu trek experience : - Rajesh was available even before my arrival in Nepal to answer my questions, help me with the visa … - When I arrive in Nepal Rajesh welcomed me warmly , the hotel selected by the company is clean and close to the main shops of Katmandu ( helpful to buy your souvenirs or trek needs) - The route by the private jeep is the best choice ( thank’s to our super driver who let us feel safe and confortable even during the hard rocky routes ) - The team including the guide and porters when extremely kind and professional, always available to help - The trek route is incredible many different landscape : forest , river , mountains , villages, monasteries…. - The accommodations during the trek are good with any western demands ( western toilet, food …) A lot to say but to sum up thanks to Rajesh and his team for the perfect organisation and can’t wait to come back for another trek. Nota : even u need anything just ask the team they will always find solution for you

Do not hesitate and book your Nepal trek with Nepal Trekking experts! It is by far the best Trekking agency in Nepal!! A few months before our trip, we read excellent reviews so we contacted Rajesh through email to ask about his suggestions of Nepal treks. As we are a couple who have been Trekking through Europe Alps, we asked to have a challenging and remote (less crowdy) trek in Nepal, keeping in mind we only had 9 days to do it. Rajesh answered within minutes with a detailled overview of the Nar Phu Valley trek, which we had never heard before. Immediately we were thrilled about his passion in his answer about the remote Nar Phu valley trek so we continued with several questions which were all answered very professionally within a few hours. It was almost impossible not to book this trek so we confirmed and looked forward to our trip a few months later. Upon arrival in Kathmandu we met with Rajesh to go over the trip details, which was very usefull, and gave us a relax comfortable feeling to start the trek. The night before departure, we met our Guido Resham and went to dinner with Rajesh and his brother Rabin to discuss the last things. It was really wonderfull to have this dinner with the 2 brothers Rajesh & Rabin as this made us very at ease to start the exciting adventure. We had the luxury to start our trek together with another couple (also from Belgium) who did the Annapurna. So the first 2 days we trekked together with our guide Resham and the other guide Radjan and porter Ram. This group was really amazing and in only 2 days we made a strong band all together which we will never forget. Thank you Radjan, Ram & Resham for this excellent start!! In Koto our paths seperated as we continued with the Nar Phu part of our trek. The next days were outstanding as the landscape and remoteness of the Nar Phu valley is really ashtonishing! It is a challenging trek, but with Resham as your guide, you will always feel cared and motivated to complete the Trekking day. All good words, and believe it or not, but the best is yet to come. Our guide Resham is truely one of a kind. We could not wish, dream or think of someone better to guide us during this trek. His competence as a guide goes beyond what you expect. Some examples here below: - he is very caring and will always help you when needed! He caried our sleeping baggs for a few days as we both suffered from some pain due to heavy backpack. - he knows the people, region extremely well. This is usefull as he will fix you always the best rooms and views possible and can be flexible when the planning is changed due to weather or other Conditions. - he speaks English very well. Easy to communicate with him and get to know him as a person and also get to know the Nepali culture and nature. - always in for a laugh. We enjoyed his presence during the walking and also in the evening when playing "Dumball" card games - very smart and empathic. He evaluates from the start your walking rythm and habits and adapts the trek accordingly. He also sees when you have a more difficult day and will offer his help always - he brings some snacks along the way so it helps getting your energy boosted when needed - so many more... Sorry for the long review, but these guys are worth spending time to write and read excellent reviews. Thanks Rajesh, Rabin, Radjan, Ram and our "Dai" Resham for this beautifull experience which we will never forget. Nepal trekking experts is the best and we will recommend you to everyone we know!! My trek with Nepal Trekking Experts was incredible! Rajesh was amazing both before and after the trek for providing great information and promptly responding to any questions we had. Very professional to deal with as well. Our guide Kedar was fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! He was very helpful and funny! He truly cared about us having the best experience possible and did whatever he could to make it a once in a lifetime trip! I would recommend Kedar as a guide to everyone! We did the Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit and the views on the trek were stunning! It was planned to be 16 days, but we ended up finishing it in 14 days. We met some awesome people along the way which made the trek an even better experience! After our trek we went to Chitwan National Park (also organized through Nepal Trekking Experts) which was a really cool experience! Very different than the mountainous terrain we were just in. We saw some really cool animals including rhinos, elephants jackels, crocodiles, monkeys, lots of birds and more. The accommodations arranged for us in Chitwan were great! Overall we had an incredible trip! I plan to go back to Nepal and do another trek at some point and I will be using Nepal Trekking experts when I go back! My advice to anyone planning to do a trek; bring Compeed/hydrocolloid pads for blisters. I had never heard of these before but was very fortunate to meet some really nice people who gave me some! Also, it was recommended to us to keep your pack 10kg or under if you are carrying it yourself. I did not follow this as my pack weighed approximately 20kg and I will definitely be packing lighter next time!

I will definetly be using Nepal Trekking Experts' services again - I had a most wonderful time on my trek! I did the Kanchenjunga circuit trek in September - October 2023 (starting day 15.9.). Kanchenjunga is a more remote area, so you won't find as many tourists as on most other treks. I really enjoyed doing the trek early in the season, because there really were very few tourists / other trekkers (we saw the first other trekkers maybe after trekking for 5 days). It was an absolute pleasure to trek with my guide Ram. He has very good relationships with the locals and whenever we arrived at a teahouse, it almost felt like coming home to a friend's house. He is very polite, friendly and has a great sense of humor. He had us taste all the local foods, has an immense amount of knowledge and always made sure that everything was good. Rajesh was very helpful and fast with replies before the trek when I enquired about the trek and asked questions. Upon arrival everything went very smoothly - pick-up from airport, going over the details in person before the trek and debriefing after the trek. Rajesh and other people from the company who I met were very kind and eager to help - so don't hesitate to ask any questions. I also recommend the trek itself / Kanchenjunga area, because of its remoteness, very varying nature (including jungle-like days, bamboo and rhododendron forest, rocky sections higher up and absolutely stunning views). You get spectacular views of Jannu, The White Wall and Kanchenjunga among other mountains and rivers. Regarding the itinerary I did quite a lot of research before hand and one reason why I decided to go with Nepal Trekking Experts was that they have two acclimitization days while most other companies only included one day. Also I felt that with them we really took the time to experience the Kanchenjunga area instead of rushing up to the base camp to 'tick off a box'. I liked the fact that we started the trek from Taplejung - although the first day is a long day, but this way you really get to experience the different sides of the nature and local culture instead of just rushing up to the mountain with a jeep etc. On the way down at the end of the trek we decided to make a small change and instead of trekking from Torangden to Khebang via Yamphudin, we decided to go From Torangden to Rani pool and then take the jeep from there to Taplejung. Ram and Rajesh were very flexible with this and the change of plans went smoothly. Also I really like the fact that they use local porters instead of taking porters from Kathmandu along for the trek - this way you really help the locals through employment, but also you gain a better experience by having more knowledge of the area by actually having locals in your team, which proved to be very advantageous. A big thank you to my guide Ram, Rajesh and our excellent porters Danang and Bimal!

First-Don't hesitate in booking with Nepal Trekking Company --Just do it!! I had such an incredible experience with them throughout our journey from the moment we began to the moment it ended. I went with my now fiance and brother to accomplish one of my dreams that I have been wanting to do for quite some time. I had done other treks before and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro two years ago-I wanted something a bit more challenging and longer so we decided to go with EBC route along with 2 passes. Rajesh was super helpful with helping us tailor our trek to what we wanted since we added extra and he was time sensitive to all the questions we had prior to arriving. When we were greeted by him he walked with us to help us find our extra trekking gear that we were in need of. Along the trek our guides name was Dinesh. He was very accommodating along the way. He was very kind, knowledgeable, and had a funny sense of humor-always laughing with us along the way. I and we felt very safe with him guiding us. He checked our vitals everynight and frequently checked in on us. On one of our acclimatization days I was slower than the rest of my group coming down due to having sensitive knees from a previous surgery and I was recovering from some injured toenails and feet from training in which going downhill I had to go slower--Dinesh walked with me patiently behind and I was so grateful for his patience. He even took us to his favorite momo place one day for lunch-we ate the best momos I've had and they were unlimited! It was great to get to know him on a personal level and he will always be a friend. The night prior to ascending Base camp my brother got really ill throughout the night-vomiting and among other things. He still wanted to make Base camp that morning because it was our big day despite having no energy and was becoming dehdyrated. The team was so patience, loving, and kind the entire day. Our porters--Chandra and Machhindra came with us that day even though they didn't have to since we were staying at the same location that night. They patiently walked behind my brother checking in and carried our daypacks. They were more than accommodating and very kind. We all made basecamp and my brother continued to get even more ill after we finally returned to our camp for the night and it was decided that next morning that he would leave..the altitude wasn't helping him and he needed to get down. Chandra, Macchindra, and Denish helped out that next morning and we got him out of there. It was amazing how fast Denish and Rajesh coordinated it all. Really the entire trip. That same night we continued to head to our pass (it was raining all day) and once we arrived Denish got wifi so that we could check in on my brother and he continued to coordinate with Rajesh. That night I ended up getting ill with a horrible headache and I woke up weak with no energy--I made the choice to come down and not continue with the pass. Again Denish and Rajesh were at it again and coordinated it all so fast. Chandra and Macchindra did such a great job carrying our load. I felt ashamed that we had brought so much stuff. When I climbed Kilimanjaro you didn't have shops to by food and other items and I overpacked. I kept apologizing to them and checking in on them..and yet they were always grateful, smiling and in good spirits. They were truly so sweet. Once we got back to Kathmandu Rajesh had everything organized and helped us plan and even cover some of the cost for the rest of the week we had in Kathmandu. He even came to visit me in the hospital. That truly is customer service and even more than that. I and we will use Nepal Trekking Experts again for our next trek a they have many options. Nepal is such a special place in my heart and I keep coming back because of the people. Additionally, I have some lifetime friends. Thank you again to Rajesh and please ask for Dinesh as your guide along with Chandra (whom is also a guide) and Machhindra. <3

My family and I traveled on the Lang Tang Valley trek with Binod, Chhwang, Kritam, and Santosh from Nepal Trekking Experts. They were absolutely a delight to be around. They made the trek significantly easier for my older father and uncles. Moreover, there was a positivity and friendship they brought that really enhanced the trek. Rajesh helped us organize everything and he was patient, informative, and a pleasure to work with. Rajesh did a spectacular job of customizing the trip for our situation. The tea houses we stayed at were nice and the trek was just perfect. When I come back to do the ABC circuit, I will definitely rebook here.
