Very neat and clean room with cozy furnitures. I like the rooms. But one thing i didn’t like was when i ordered milk tea they said it will take 45 min and the door key wasn’t working properly. Other than that i had a great experience.

Hotel is ok. Staff is good. But breakfast was disappointed. I stayed there for 4 days and everyday breakfast is more or less same. 5 options everyday where in 4 are same. Only one dish they change.

Long wait for check in at counter. Rather than providing the accurate reason for delay, they kept saying it is almost ready. Finally got the room, but first AC wasn’t functioning. Secondly, booked from online for 1* King Bed, but it was two single bed attached together. One of the worst experiences.

Good place near thamel to chill. Clean rooms and friendly staff. They do not close the hotel gate so you can get back to the hotel even late at night. Breakfast was also fine, could be improved but not bad at all.

Very co operative friendly staff, nice well organized place.. clean Chambers including shower gel, shampoo,body lotion, hair dryer and even one single use toothbrush and toothpaste..

Overall, I had a great experience with this hotel. Hotel staffs were incredibly helpful and the amenities were splendid. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to stay.

Such an unhygienic place. Not sure if they change the bed sheets and the blanket cover cause I saw a flea in our bed in room 302 luckily we didn’t sleep in that room. The room service was great. 2 stars for service.

Timber House became like our home in Kathmandu! We came back here multiple times throughout our 3 weeks in Nepal and we really came to feel that the folks there were like our Nepalese family. Raj does a FANTASTIC job connecting personally with the guests and going above and beyond management duties! We even had play dates with our kids, probably the most memorable part of the trip for our 6-year-old!! The restaurant staff was also just excellent and treated us like family, especially our son. The reception was wonderful, always friendly and helpful and the room was always clean, tidy, and comfortable. Also, the location within Kathmandu means everything you need is within walking distance but there is also easy access to local transportation.

It was a good, humble hospitality from Hotel Timber House. All the facilities were excellent. I recommend everyone to take their service.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are spacious and clean with some rooms having balcony. Staff is nice and helpful and breakfast is nice with options of american, continental and indian.The only thing is that there is no lift so just climb some stairs if you are on fourth floor. Lots of brand stores. Korean food place is also there.Sushi house is there.There is QFX cinema hall and reasturant.

On main thamel road Nearby market - by walk Highly recommended. I've stayed for 2 nights in Suite room. It was a great experience. Worth penny spent here.

They advertise their rooms priced at 2500, not mentioning about the service charges and VAT. And they charge you 3100 in total to what they advertised as 2500. Be truthful in your advertisement, mention the inclusive charge!
