The pricing is confusing. When we checked in it was 1700/room but in the end they charged us much more because we were two people in the room. The place is very calm, with a beautiful garden and clean rooms. The restaurant is good but pricey. Again, the prices are confusing because the price in the menu is not the real price, they add 12% tax and then 10% service charge afterwards. I would appreciate to just see the real price in the menu.

Very peaceful atmosphere. Staff were really friendly. Wonderful restaurant staff were so kind to our 18 month old daughter, was quite touching

Great place to stay in Kathmandu. I was concerned due to some negative reviews but my stay was great overall. It was clean, serene and quiet. Some negatives: I spent time in 2 rooms. The comfort of the beds are hit or miss. Test the bed before you take the room. I advised that the toilet wasn’t flushing in one of the rooms. It was barely an inconvenience, I used a bucket of water to flush, but I would have liked to see it fixed quicker. I’m still giving it 5 stars as the most important element for me was the energy of the place which supported me on the inner journey I was on at this time.

Amazing place! An oasi of peace from the outside caos. Very cozy, silent and clean, only few minutes from Boudhanat Stupa, for me the best area in town. Furthemore please don't miss the vegetarian restaurant inside, where the food is simply delicious, all fresh and delicate. People working at the guest House is very kind and always gentle. Definetely not to be missed!

A great little retreat hideout. Hosts are incredibly hepful and the vegetarian restaurant is better than most fiod experiences around Bouddha Stupa.

Beautiful surroundings with a green yard, cozy and clean room. Only the prices are told without taxed, what may surprise you while paying. Still worthwhile to stay there!

A very peaceful stay. Near the Stupa (3-4minutes), your stay will be directly next to the monastery - you will have the chance to discuss with the monks or just watch the kids play. It was a very quiet area, with a nice breakfast and a correct price for the room. For us, it was a great way to discover the different monastery around. Finally, the people there were very nice and helpful :)

Everything was good, nice garden and really close to the Stupa

Nice & quiet place. As inside the Monastery the guesthouse Benefits from awesome vibrations especially, peaceful & conducive to spiritual pactises. Rooms are nice very practical, quiet at night. My only question would be on cleanliness which is according to me so, so. But defenetly the best place to stay in the surrounding & a very good quality for value.

Great value accommodations in Boudhanath, especially if you are a practicing Buddhist. You are on the grounds of the Shechen monastery giving you easy access to pujas and other activities (don't forget to check out the Tsering Art School store). The price is right considering that the area is relatively more expensive than Thamel. The rooms were basic but clean and perfectly functional (I was happy with the standard grade room although they also have a deluxe option with renovated bathroom), and the restaurant was wonderful, with a great selection of hygienic food in large portions (best thenthuk I've had in Kathmandu!) with a peaceful, beautiful garden. Pro tip: Book EARLY, as this place fills up fast. I found that they were more responsive to email inquiries than phone.

Male receptionist is dishonest. We wanted to extend our stay so we checked with the female receptionist. She kindly showed us the calendar, which indicated plenty of availability. The following day, the male receptionist claimed the guesthouse was fully booked for that particular week. We asked if he could show us the calendar but he very dubiously refused. It became quickly clear he wasn't being truthful to us. His deception eventually leaked and he frustratingly declared we had been "complaining" too much, even though there were no good reasons for asserting this; indeed, we spent two weeks at the guesthouse and had a friendly relationship with everybody. Last but not least, we asked to speak to the manager but he also demonstrated poor behavior and was not willing to understand the situation. Without doubt, he didn't like us either. What to do when people have merely decided they don't like you ? Regrettably, there is nothing to do but to walk out. This is sadly what we ended up doing. They lost us forever. But apparently they don't seem to care at all. Too bad for them.

Stayed couple of days here stay was good as its to quite and peace, but couldn't get proper sleep because beds matrices are too uncomfortable. Even staff is not supported if we have some complaints regarding WiFi, food and cleaning related also reception guy was rude and arrogant.
