Best Thakali Food In Town. Hospitality is great. The Service Is Too Fast. They Even got separate place like a cabin or a room where u can hang out with ur family members. They have a beautiful Cat, and she is too disciplined. A must visit place for good food.

I visited this place after reading the amazing reviews and was not disappointed at all. The ambience has a local Nepali feel to it. The Thakali Dhido Thali was really tasty. The hosts were very helpful as they taught me how to eat Dhido, their traditional food. The hospitality is commendable. Run by a mother daughter duo, I got treated like a member of their family. It felt like my home away from home! I visited Bagaan everyday throughout my stay in Nepal and recommend it to everyone who wants to eat authentic Thakali food, with Nepali ambience, grace, and very warm, homely atmosphere.

Great hospitality and clean restaurant. The flavor of all the items in the thali were delicious. The chicken was a bit hard although the gravy was good. They pour hot ghee on the rice and dal while serving which adds a burst of flavor. Enjoyed the veg thupka as well. The restaurant has wifi which is a plus for tourists. They accept only cash. Indian currency is acceptable.

Offer good, delicious thakali food. Loved the interior and table set up. Do recommend gravy chicken plate. Sometimes a cat can join you for the food. Please be friend to that cat.

This is a rather local place with a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. On the first floor in the middle of a cul-de-sac in the tourist district of Thamel. In short, we had a very good thali among the many choices on offer for a classic price. Very attentive service.

Best food in Kathmandu. Amazing hospitality by our waiter Bishesh Sherchan. Come here prepared to eat with your fingers. Best mutton curry ever, finished off with some sweet curd. And guess what, we came back for more. Just as good, once again.

I don’t have any complaints about food but something about this place seemed off for me. The atmosphere can be worked on. Nothing special about the parent in chicken gravy food. Can be replaced with generic broiler chicken instead. My plate only had bones. Definitely a room for an improvement.

I went here for lunch with my friends this afternoon. This place had a nice atmosphere with nice interior but I have to say that the food here was awful. It had no taste whatsoever. It was completely bland. As for those dishes which are normally included in a Thakali cuisine, there was a very less variety of dishes included here. We can find many places with delicious foods at lower costs instead of visiting here. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it is a loss of both time and money.
