Excellent peaceful stay amidst busy market of Thamel. Even with green garden in front. The hotel provided very good buffet breakfast daily in the morning and even given us packed breakfast, as we departed early at 6.30 AM. The friendly attitude, support from Mr Keshab hotel management team is praiseworthy.

This hotel is situated at the heart of Thamel, and from there one can access all the facilities, restaurants, money exchange, travel agencies, etc. The rooms are clean and big, staffs are very cordial. Foods are expensive compared to outside restaurants and very tasty. We liked the hotel very much and we hope to stay there again. I usually juz a person or service when I face any difficulties. We had an issue with the toilet flush, they fixed it within a few minutes, which I liked most. They also provided much useful travel information. This hotel can be suitable for any type of travelers like couples, family, or friends. Their gate is closed at 10 pm but you can ring the bell and a guard is standing by for 24 hours. All good and highly recommended.

The exterior place of the hotel was fantastic. So was the inside of the hotel. They welcomes us with drinks and showed our rooms. I stayed for two nights with my friends and the stay was peaceful. The ac was working, washroom was clean, offered amenities and have free breakfast. Also assisted when I called them for extra toilet tissue or a glass of ice. However, they did not provide any fridge in my room but when we brought some juices and needed to chill those out, I requested them to keep in the kitchen fridge. They kept those for me! Such a nice gesture. There is also a lawn outside the hotel where you can hang out. But note that, there was no veranda with my room and the washroom is compact in size.

Nice hotel in Thamel, very nice people working there. It is not a Boutique hotel for European standards but an average or good hotel in the area. The room was spacious, nice beds and shower. There was also a free airport pickup service that saves you a lot of headache. In the nighttime there is security and if you'd like to explore nightlife you're at the perfect spot. Unfortunately there was no fridge in the room or a balcony but they had a nice little garden.

Staff is very supportive. So considering his personal assistance, i should rate this place 5 star. If rooms are bit more spacious, this will get 5 star. Overall i liked the way they assisted and supported.

On the first day they were given a waste room and partially spoiled our day, after complaining the next day they were given a good one. The location was good. If you don't ask or if you don't complain they will give a bad room otherwise ok.

Our tour hotel stay in Kathmandu, 4 nights at the start and 2 nights on return. Really enjoyed our stay here. The location is fabulous and will not disappoint. Lots of culture, great restaurants with quality meals , shopping for your trekking needs, and narrow winding streets to get lots in, street photography is all around. The service provided by the starf and management fantastic any issues dealt with, there wasn't many. Breakfast perfert and above standard 3star. Wouldn't hesitate to book again next time in Kathmandu.

Good place to stay with family or friends, prime location, taste of food is good including Breakfast. Only face 1 issue, dinner order taken at 8.45pm and till 10.15pm nothing was ready as there was a big group comeup. And we slept hungry

This is a well located hotel in the heart of Thamel. The rooms are a good size, and the staff are attentive & friendly. There is a garden area at the front of the hotel which is a nice quiet shady place to sit, a pleasant refuge from the busy hum drum of Kathmandu.

Rooms were perfect. Service was top notch. Location was near everything. Booked again for the last night.

Avarage Hotel. Only the Manager is a good positive person. Only the Rooms at 4 th floor are good. Others avarage. Service Nothing to mention seperately. Front Desk is avarage. A bit over priced.

Situated in a perfect location in Khatmandu, a thirty minute drive from the airport, the Samsara was a lovely place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice food. Great for tourist purchases in the local streets.

This was a lovely hotel to stay in during our time in Kathmandu. The staff was very friendly, the lobby area was comfortable and upscale, and the rooms were large and perfect for our stay. The price was very reasonable, and it is in a great location in the heart of Thamel, but down a quiet side road which made for some peace and tranquility out of the hustle and bustle. We stayed here multiple times and were able to safely leave our luggage during our trek. Highly recommended!

Lovely old style hotel in the heart of Thamel district yet in its owl little world. Garden area provides wonderful place to rest or have tea. Rooms decoration, cleanliness & others facilities are very good. Staff was friendly, helpful and especially the reception staff is smart, dedicated & well behavior.

Staffs are friendly. Manager Mr. Keshab Khanal is very helpful and always ready to provide great advices and guidance. Rooms are spacious and super clean. Hotel's garden is awesome. Breakfast was too good. Location cannot be better than this.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights with family and was quite happy. Mr. Keshav is very cooperative, a nice person and guided us well. The location of hotel is good, the room was very clean. The supporting staff, i.e., Mr. Vivek in the restaurant is sincere. In short, it was a memorable stay in this Hotel.

Booked 02 rooms @5140 INR for one day over the weekend. The best advantage is the location which is at Bhagwati Sthan, Thamel just in front of the famous night club Lord of the Drinks. Although centrally located in busy area of thamel, rhe hotel has got ample car parking space. The breakfast is sumptuous n staff are courteous n always ready to help.

Pathetic hotel, the reception guy was discriminating and asking us we are Indian everytime we complained about ac is not working, he said his ac mechanism is different and will cool more at 26 degree rather than 18 degree, even he treated us like we haven't use ac in our entire life, they didn't have fans in room when we asked for room change he simply ignored and lastly we have to checkout at midnight with senior citizens with us. The rooms and service is totally different as shown in website. Don't spoil your holiday,dont book this hotel. Minus - stars from me

Heart of the city in Kathmandu.. Specially in thamel area where you get excess to every place in Kathmandu Drawback is not big vehicle go in this area only small car and SUV only

My Friend, the owner's son, just gave us a look around. I was staying in the son's hotel (Famous House - nearby) as I was there for a longer-term and on a smaller budget. Anyway this place is really nice - a good western standard building with all the comforts. Warm inside, polite, professional and friendly staff, nice bar downstairs where we had a really nice coffee, and great view from the rooftop with a barbecue up there also. (If you see this Miraz's Dad, I'd love to meet you, next time I'm in Nepal 😊)

Well, giving the star only for location and for buffet manager who was kind and responsible. Also the receptionist Saruj deserve good regards. We didn't ask for a free pick up from airport so instead request drop off but manager refused. Towels in bathroom used to be white in last century, I was afraid even touching them so used my own towel. Not recommend this hotel. There are plenty good hotels in Thamel.

Good location in Thamel. Good place for short stay (1-2 days). Good price-quality. Food is quite limited but coffee and service in restaurant is good. Rooms not too bad, not too good. Too much morning noise from other guests and cleaners.

Their Hotel Staff behave not good. We face discriminate because of an Asian. I will not recommend it to everyone. Also their Toilet was so Dirty. The bedsheet was dirty and had a bad smell. The air-condition does not work properly.

Third class quality Hotel, we were 11 guest including 3 senior citizen and 3 children, we booked 4 rooms the rooms that were alloted to us were in 5th floor where lift was not there, despite of our request that there are senior citizens kindly provide us room were there is lift they didn't provided, we adjusted, we checked in at around 11.15 at night and checked out at around 1 at night, the room which they provided to us were very conjusted, bathroom was very small, there was no option to lock the bathroom gate, out of 4 room AC of three rooms was not working, no fans in the rooms also, some bad smell was also there in the room, we will give only 0/100 and will suggest other not to book any room in this hotel, even they don't have proper money receipt to provide to the guest they will write in a paper and will give you your receipt.

My guest visited previous yesterday in this hotel but it's manager so badly behaves my guest 12:00 pm at night. So I say that it's services are not good for any visitors. So recommended to not try this service.

It's a very bad service. Hotel management asked me for the commission of Booking.com as I have booked for 3 nights but due to some changes in plan i have checked out after two nights and for the remaining one night i have changed my check in and check out date. But when I checked in the hotel again they asked me for the commission of booking.com which was 2500 INR..

While rooms are wheelchair accessible with walk in showers and lifts, the stairs to get to the lobby do pose a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our special needs.

Best stay in KTM, wonderful people at the property, always caring, always helpful, they are there for whatever help or arrangement you need. Food is tasty. Best value for money. Would recommend as their first option while visiting Katmnandu.

Didint met the expectations at all! and moreover they say they are BOUTIQUE hotel, really? I went there after covid, they lacked maintenance. The room was below average, white towels provided seemed like it was ages old. The toilet was the worst part, the exhaust fan wasnt working and there were no vents. Ac wasnt working properly, hence had to change the room. The other room was much better. But being called a BOUTIQUE hotel, wasnt expecting to go through all that. Common guys, atleast maintain to the min standard to meet your own image. Dissappointing stay!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit old and with dirty sheets. Location is also good You can probably find better hotels in the area for the same price.
