This is insurance fraud. Don't go here unless you have a good insurance policy or you're dying. Maybe then you should still find another hospital. Minimum consult is 100USD. I went in to get a prescription repeat, they didn't tell me any price and then after 2hrs of sitting in the waiting room they said it would be 100USD, the doctor said about 2 words to me. While I was there they charged a poor young couple 300USD for a blood test, they told them the price after they'd taken the blood, the young girl was very upset and in tears as they didn't have insurance. Go to a local doctor and pay 1000 Nepalese rupees for better service.

Very good hospital. High-quality care. The doctors were keeping an eye on me all the time. Single air-conditioned rooms, delicious and healthy food. Good contact with the insurance company.

My guide took me to ERA international hospital after experiencing some breathlessness while hiking in Nepal. I was so impressed by the speed with which I was seen and the coordination of various professionals as part of my care. I barely had to wait before an ER doctor assessed me and ordered various tests. All the tests and results were completed and provided to me in under an hour which is unheard of in Canada. I thought the doctors were very thorough and caught pulmonary edema which was fortunate, because I had a lot of hiking planned afterward which they advised against given this diagnosis. I was admitted overnight and my room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff checked in on me multiple times and the food was pretty good. All of my test results and the discharge summary were provided to me which made submitting a claim to my insurance company easy. The doctors were generous with their time in terms of explaining things to me and answering questions. They even provided a ride to my hotel. Overall, I was very impressed with my care and would recommend this place if you are trekking/mountain climbing and need specialized care.

After coming down with altitude sickness and food poisoning I was admitted here for 2 nights. Doctors and nurses were always there to check on me or answer questions no matter the time. Good place to be if you unfortunately happen to need medical care during your visit.

Best tourist hospital ever. The doctors are caring, the nurses and beyond friendly. I even added them on fb and we hang out! Very clean and accommodating facilities. The kindness and attention they provided me is out of this world. I highly recommend this place to EVERYONE who needs medical attention, big or small issues. I had food poisoning and bed bugs, both times they were extremely helpful and optimistic.

This place comprises 5 stars in services, cleanliness and supports. Great team work from insurance claim team, doctors, nurses, helpers, drivers and chef. While you are there, order chicken Briyani, it was flawless and delicious. Kudos to the chef of the hospital for this wonderful serving!

Good health care, but the team are absolute scammers. Their insurance team lie and try all they can to get extra money out of the patient’s insurance companies. If you come here, be careful and check everything and take photos of all documents as they try their hardest not to send to you.

Who ever handles the calls on landline number is miserable, she needs to taught to speak to people and not scare them off on their first call.

Foreign travellers beware. Disingenuous scam hospital. The negative reviews are true. Please do a simple google search on the rates in Kathmandu and ask the prices for every treatment if you insist on stepping into this medical scam trap.

The hospital is not on the location of the map. It will take you to an empty alley. Instead make the turn on the street across from the alley. It's next to people dental hospital.
