A new bar that just opened in Kathmundu. It’s very chill and less crowded compared to other places. The cocktails are also nice and unique. I liked it. You can check it out if you want.

Best bar in Kathmandu! The bartenders are fantastic and create truly delicious and innovative cocktails. There’s also a lot of drink components that they make in-house (different syrups, coffee liquor, etc). Will be back several times while in KTM! Thanks for the great night

Nice bar & friendly staff.. only downside is staff handling money and credit cards then use there hands to put ice cubes and lemon in your drinks/ cocktails... :( I wish they would use tongs at least for the ice cubes

This place doesn't follow the trend, they set one. The ambience is pleasant, good music and crowd. A must visit Bar if in Kathmandu.

Really fun bar with great atmosphere. Their signature drinks are great and there is also happy hour until 9pm.

We loved the vibes here. Cocktails were fantastic and we particularly loved the Penguin and Blackbird. Cocktails are on the slightly pricier side (considering Nepal’s pricing, but still affordable at about USD$7.50 each) - def worth the ambience and experience. Staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure that our party of 3 were well taken care of. One of us doesn’t take alcoholic drinks and the bartender whipped up a cocktail that was to her palate and she loved it! An overall great experience!

Came here for a predinner cocktail while visiting Thamel. Amazing cocktails & superb service. Would love to see them come up with a Yanbaru cocktail, a native bird to Okinawa Japan. Cool vibe & would rec when in the area!

Once you land you must come here!!!!!I cannot believe in Kathmandu I found a bar that would exist in NYC. An amazing ambiance, tasty cocktails and wonderful staff which made me feel like I was back home. I’m truly proud of blackbird for inspiring other cocktail bars in KTM. I cannot wait to be back and see their second BlackBird bar in jhamsikhel.

Had a great experience over at Black Bird. Music choices were phenomenal, correlates with its theme of birds and tropical vibes. Easy legible menu that is not too complicated to digest. Not forgetting their passionate bartenders, that creates custom drinks to suit your mood. Had ask for a tiki cocktail and something refreshing. And was very impressed at the bartenders take on the 2 drinks. Really very satisfied with the experience.

Must come if you are in town. Well rounded drinks and many house brewed juice.

Good cocktails but overpriced given the fact that they use Nepali alcohol for most drinks. The cocktail names on the menu are bird based and fun. If you're there, do try out the Blackbird cocktail and the pickle shot, both were great. The selection and availability of classic cocktails was quite limited though.

Best bar in kathmandu- they let us play our own music and the drinks are exceptional. Really worth the price and the staff are professional and specially minsaang. Excellent service and even better drinks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a drink in town.

Excellent friendly service, fun drinks! We spent a month in Nepal coming from the United States. Both of us enjoy craft cocktail bars back home. This place came recommended to us, and glad we took the time to visit. They make everything in house and had unique offerings. We came back for a second evening in a row! We don’t do the late night scene much so it was slow when we were there, and it was nice to get the opportunity to talk with the bartenders, nice people. It does pick up later at night if you’re into that, too!

A good place in thamel for tour cocktails. Beers are 500 for a 330ml beers. Good vibe and a good place.

5 stars always. The drinks make it. But the music lately needs improving and I come here to state my complaints. Where’s the house? It’s gone completely rap in a bad way. I feel like I’m in a college frat party with this vibe. Change it. Go back to your roots.

Had a really good night at black bird bar. Kushal and minsang hosted us at the bar counter. They were extremely friendly and welcoming and also initiated conversation with us. The service, cocktails and shots were really good and the service from kushal and minsang was really outstanding. Will come again next time<3
