Nice and clean train station, with clear signs and timetables. There are some cafés and bakeries, and McDonald's. And there's a shopping mall directly beside the station so you can easily spend your time before your train.

Arriving Katowice Railway Station around 12noon yesterday (Feb 15, 2022). Asked 2 patrolling security officers about trams to Hotel Novotel Katowice Centrum. They speak very good English. Lead us to the station entrance and clearly point us the way. A very warm welcome on behalf of the city of Katowice. Thank you !

If only UK train stations ran as simply as over here in Poland, Katowice a great little train station and train fares rediculously cheap

Unbelievably poor service. If you don't understand Polish you will have a bad experience. If your train is delayed, be ready you can miss it. Otherwise you must stay at the platform in the frozen cold not to know for how long. Because on the screen downstairs it says 'delayed more than 1 hour'. Nothing says on the platform. You must run up and down to get any information. The announcements sound too bad and poorly. Sometimes it's in English but so terrible accent so you struggle to understand. Station staff barely speaks English. Jesss

Very nice and clean place. Very good service. Facilities for disabled. Close to the bus station and Taxi rank. I recommend highly.

Its nice city, but not big atraction for turists, you have nice part to visit, and others things, center its not big so you can be sure you can't lost in there

There are two parts of this train station - nicely renovated front with shopping mall, and also renovated but not so nice read part. 2* for the rear part. My hotel was at the back so I needed to use that part. I was with bicycle - there are no elevators just platforms for wheelchair that didn’t work. But the ambient there … geee… that was something. Homeless and drunk people fighting, bothering travelers and making scenes - no security - in front part there are security guys walking everywhere. Unequal division.

Totally useless people, useless services. You cant pay anythinf online, and you lose international train which is once per day, cuz useless parasytic ladies stay 3h dealing with one person. Useless, utterly useless parasits

Extremely good train station

Great Little City. 40 miles from the airport but worth the wait. Very clean. Friendly people. Would definitely recommend a visit.

No consideration for vegans here. If you have a long trip you better make sure to bring your own food. For such a transited place it's really terrible not to have options for everyone. Very disappointed, not the first time.
