Went Grandeeza Seafood Club after reopening. Mango and Peach Harmony was a harmonious mocktail. As starters we selected fried calamari which was mouth watering. As mains we bought one of their combination platters: seafood basket with French fries which was like French fries was bit over fried but calamari and crab were in average level. There was one crumb fried fish item which was delicious but in that also French fries was bit over fried. Egg fried rice was in average level. Worth for price. Hope to experience the rest in next time. Love the mango and Peach Harmony 🍹. Staff is very attentive and supportive all the time. Helped us to select the menu items. Recommend this place.

We visited Grandeeza on September 17th for what they advertised as a High Tea buffet, but it turned out to be a major letdown. They seated 10 people at each table, claiming it was part of a wedding theme or something similar. However, having a family of seven others at our table was uncomfortable for everyone involved, impacting our privacy and dining experience in the presence of strangers. We even heard one of the elders at the table question the staff about our unexpected presence. While Grandeeza might argue that this seating arrangement was thematic, it wasn't suitable for strangers who expected a more private dining experience. Regarding the food, Grandeeza should be ashamed of serving such a limited and tasteless selection, especially given the price. I've had the opportunity to enjoy High Teas across Sri Lanka, and this was by far the worst in terms of variety and quality. The price we paid did not justify the lack of diversity and flavor. It's not merely about cost but about receiving value for money. I would gladly pay more for a substantial variety of higher-quality items. This High Tea buffet was the smallest and blandest I've ever encountered. To make matters worse, the same dishes were repeatedly placed in different areas. For instance, there was a sandwich action station and a separate sandwich area offering the same sandwiches with identical fillings. It left us wondering who they were trying to deceive. I'm unsure how many people complained, but those in the queue were discussing and even laughing about how Grandeeza attempted to mislead its customers. Nearly 30% of the buffet consisted of repeatedly placed sandwiches. The savory items were severely limited, and I doubt many people enjoyed them, as there was no alternative to the limited offerings Grandeeza provided. The dessert selection was equally disappointing. Three or four dishes of the same biscuit pudding were crammed into a tiny area, filled with කිඹුලා Buns and Jam Buns. Seriously, Grandeeza, do customers visit a High Tea to indulge in කිඹුලා Buns and Jam Buns? About halfway through the buffet, some of the dishes were empty, and I didn't see them being refilled. The only redeeming aspects were the mini chicken pastries, black coffee, and iced coffee. Everything else was a complete disaster. Some might have enjoyed this High Tea, especially if they hadn't experienced better options at the same price range. However, two families of our friends left the hotel after just an hour, vowing never to return to Grandeeza for buffet dining. We could have treated ourselves to a wider variety of food for less money if we had visited Grandeeza's Coffee Lab or The Grand Gastrobar instead of falling for this so-called High Tea gimmick.

I have been there for a wedding. I would say a good place for 3 star. Ambience is really nice. Great location for photos. Food was really tasty. Cleanliness needs to improve a bit. Ballroom carpet was dirty. Some of the staff members were wearing dirty uniforms. Buffet tables damaged. Furniture at the banquet lobby need some repair.

****** NOT WORTH THE PRICE****** We got the room for 8500/- which is a Deluxe room with breakfast and Executive room for 10,000/-. The only difference between the two rooms were the jacuzzi. The buttons were not properly working. There are no windows in the room or Balcony. Ventilation was a problem in the rooms. The comfort in the room should be more since the hotel is 3 star and expensive compared to other hotels in the same range. Breakfast buffet was good. Food is tasty. The staff need much training in serving and helping the customers. They are sometimes disrespectful. If the owner is having dinner in the outside restaurant, whole area will be booked for him and we will not get a chance to have our meals there near the lagoon. It is so bad. They should at least inform that issue before we go there.

There are excellent views of the Negombo bay region. Near the pool is the best area to relax in the evening. The best place for weddings and parties. Elegant banquet venues with all the amenities are available. It is a simple venue to get to because it is located on the main Negombo-Colombo road and is also accessible from the Colombo-Katunayake highway.

I recently stayed at the Grandeeza Hotel and was really impressed with the hospitality and service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was spotless and comfortable. There was also a great coffee lab, which had some of the best coffee and snacks I'd ever tasted. Best experience that I had with my Wedding. The staff was really friendly, helpful and flexible (need to remind Mr. Darren) who coordinated end to end details of our function. Superb food and rooms were up to high standard 👍 we are frequent visitors to the restaurant as well. Highly recommended 👌

We spent two nights in a executive room and I must say that everything was excellent. The room was surprisingly comfortable and covered all the needs. The location is overlooking the lagoon. Delicious food at the buffet with excellent value for money.

I had my engagement here on 21st of April. The whole event was handled by Mr. Kavindu of the banquet reservations. From day one he kept on checking on everything. Even on the day of the event he was attentive to all the details. Everyone complemented on the food. From the soup to dessert everything was perfect and when selecting the menus chef helped a lot. Overall it was a great event .

Went to a wedding. Place is okay got good views of the Negombo bay area. sea food restaurant is nice. Pool's location is also good. There wasn't any drinking water to be found after the dinner so I had to drink from the tap 😪 not even bottled water 😑 rooms are not as comfortable as they seems. Dessert watalappam was the worst I have ever tasted other than those place is okay 😏

Breakfast food was terrible - not much to choose from. Location is not great, right off the main road. The main issue was the Staff, Jubel (I think the manager) and Concierge Terrance robbed me of almost 10,000 Rupees. They claimed they organise drivers and activities for the guests for there comfort and do not make any money. This led me to allow them to arrange. They arranged a driver and a boat trip, on both occasions they asked the driver and tour company to charge me 5000 extra and pay them. When I confronted them with the evidence, they denied it. In the end the manager paid me 10,000 back saying it was out of his pocket

Location and backgrounds are super luxury. But not satisfied with the food. Restaurant is good anyways!

Went there to enjoy a Easter High Tea. Very good variety of food and extremely worth considering the price we paid. Service also considerably in very good state when comparing with competitors.

Grandeeza coffee lab is one of the best places to have a sudden coffee and snack. Very reasonable prices to compare to many places around Negombo.

Rooms and washrooms were well cleaned and spacious. Food was average. Price is very fair and reasonable. Seafood club food is superb quality. Very good customer service.

We had a family dinner which is very good. We enjoyed the food. Specially battered prawns. We ordered sea food fried rice which is good and few more dishes. Plus they serve imported Beers. Interm of parking, no issue What's so ever.

Great food, customer service and a beautiful place. Right now under renovations, though the Coffee Lab, Seafood Restaurant and the Irish Pub is open. Highly recommend their “High Tea” Opened now, which has a delicious wide variety of items and very adorable. A place not to miss in Negambo if you are in town.

It was such a pleasure to see the seafood restaurant open and in full operation after a while. Beautiful ambiance and good food, not forgetting the fabulous desserts. It was a lovely Valentine's day,!

Since I'm a seafood lover this is an ideal place to fulfill your seafood cravings, prices are desirable and food taste is up to the expected level. Atmosphere is just substantial. You can sit just by the lagoon watching sunset , you can stay there till 11.30 PM it would be nice if hours can be extended . Overall exceptional experience . Recommended ..

Front desk is bad, first they cut the call while calling. Second call they cut the line before I could finish enquiring. Otherwise the rest seems pleasant.

Went to Grandeeza for their High Tea last month. The marquee was nice with live music playing, but the seating was awkward since it was shared seating. So my friend and myself were seated with strangers and it made the whole thing very awkward. The food was quite limited in variety but personally I enjoyed the food because the savoury things that I tried were really good. Desserts weren’t that great, compared to the savoury items. I really wish they had more in variety but overall, it was worth the price. Just one more thing that could be improved was the time. The High Tea was from 3 - 5 pm so it was quite a rush to eat the food quickly and leave. If it could be extended to at least 6 pm like most places, I think it would be ideal to enjoy the food comfortably.

Went for a lunch to the Seaclub restaurant. Wonderful location with the view of the lagoon. Nice ambience. Expanded menu not only sea foods. You got plenty of choices for dine in as well as the drinks including alcoholic beverage and soft drinks. Tasty foods. And the helpful staff. The only set back was I couldn't pay from the card, said the machine isn't working. Luckily I had cash. Price is reasonable

Came to Grandeeza seafood club restaurant for dinner with my family. I liked the ambience but the service was below average. We had to wait for more than 60 minutes for food and not taste it at all. Not worth for money compared to other competitive hotel restaurants in Negombo.

I attended a wedding in this place, so I can review about the experience but not really about the business or pricing of part of it. First of all hats off as for doing the justice to its name "Grandeeza", it surely looks grand from inside as it is from outside as well. I'm sure can find many "instagram able" spots to click pics. Fabulous architecture all together tbh. It's a big 5/5 for the looks, ambience and the cleanliness of this place. No complains about the service as well. Food was alright I guess. They sure had a good welcome drink and snacks on table. Main course was quite good for me, but it wasn't I guess for everyone🤷‍♂️. But deserts was not. Not many varieties and all were pretty plain. Overall it's a big yes for receptions, and I'm pretty sure they will try to improve their deserts.

Elegant Banquet halls. They have restaurants too to relax and facing the lagoon view. Ideal place to chill in the evening near the swimming pool. The security staff is courteous and helpful when parking. The place looks regent and grand for weddings and parties. Best Halls are there with all facilities. Easy venue to reach as it is situated right in the main Negombo - Colombo road and can access from Colombo - Katunayake highway too.

The place is clean. Not crowded. This is the Coffee Shop done by Grandeeza Hotel. You can get cakes, cup cakes, short-eats, and beverages like coffee, tea, frappes, mock-tails, milk shakes etc. Also, there’s an à la carte Menu. There’s a variety. Mac n Cheese is a must-try here. Cappuccino and hot chocolate is good too. Also, the cakes are fresh. Good place to go to for a quick bite. Prices are average and reasonable.

Rooms were really comfy and location was great but the service was -5 stars . Went to eat out in the sea food club restaurant at night and they refused to serve even there was a table just 2meters from their restaurant. Then we came to our room and tried ordering food to our room. Receptionist passed us to room service and said dial the extension. Called four times and no response. Even reception passed the call but no answer. Had to order from Uber Eats. Comical

Been to their sea food restaurant few times, food and environment is excellent plus there are plenty of parking space. In the restaurant you have two dinein options, inside the AC area or outside close to the lagoon, if not for the rain, lagoon is the obvious selection 😍 pricing is more of the high side but the food is top class. Have fun
