A great place to stay! Would definitely recommend it. The owner is very kind and takes extreme good care of you . The room is really spacious and clean. The pool is nice. The breakfast is great with Western and Sri Lankan dish both combined. It's a relaxing place with great view on the canal with water lizzards and lots of birds as well. Beautiful! We loved our stay here.

Had a wonderful stay at Serendib. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. I left early in the morning and therefore I could not make it to breakfast. The owner gave me a free taxi ride to the airport (30 min) which I thought was very kind. Can recommend to stay here.

Nice family hotel ! I was able to check in early in the morning when I arrived which was amazing. Pretty hotel nice staff. Only thing is the shower was not usable - no water pressure and the water was going to all directions but not down.

The wifi was good and the service was fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at Serendib Village. The rooms were clean and spacious and had a good view of the pool and the surrounding nature. The delicious breakfast was served near the canal. All in all it was a super relaxing atmosphere. Great to escape the busy streets of Negombo.

Really lovely place to hang out. Pay attention to pack in your suncreams because it can get really hot and there are not very much places with shadow. The only places were under some Coconut palms. But you need to care about yourself so no coconut will harm you. At some points of the day the waves break very very near to the Beach, so it is not always recommended for swimming.

Not far from the center of Negombo but located at the end of an alley it's the perfect place to rest ! The place is located in a calm and quite area. The room was awesome. It has all the facilities like superb bed, mini fridge, couch, TV with Dialog connection, Tea coffee making, hair dryer, cupboard, dressing table. Best thing is there are enough plug points in either side of the bed. That is very rare in most of the hotels. There is a pool. The food and the staff was lovely. The rates are really low where I got the Bed & Breakfast for 4500/- which is really cheap and the food was mind blowing. The owners lives in downstairs and they are nice, helpful and caring. They serve the customers as of their family. We had a small leg injury caused while swimming and the owner arranged everything to go to the doctor and made all the arrangements. Hats-off to his service in his hotel. I recommend everyone to consider this hotel if they are planning a vacation in Negambo.

Mr. Milinda along with his brother and staff/family were exceptionally supportive and made Our stay very comfortable! They have many many adorable and friendly dogs and cats we loved them all specially Luna their domestic dog. The Breakfast was a huge portion than I expected. It was delicious and a mouth full. Breakfast was the best part along with the walking distance food places plus pubs. You can also order via pickme & uber. All restaurants & fast food places are close by so ordering online made us easy as well with the hotels location. We REALLY REALLY loved Our stay. The location of the hotel was easy to fnd!.. I'm happy we chose serendib for Our alone time. The rooms were tidy and very spacious. Bathrooms were very clean. Room temperatures were on point with comfortable bed and pillows. We had a faulty in our a/c, once we informed them they were responsible enough to come and fix it!.. The serendib village guest house is a great place to stay! regretting we couldn't stay one or two more nights, I recommend them highly to anyone! Definitely coming back again! 10 out of 10!

We had a wonderfull stay at the Serendip village hotel at Negombo. The hotel is close to the beach, and is easily accesible by tuktuk or car. The rooms are nice, breakfast is complete and the pool is small but good.

What a wo deedul experience! They were able to arrange a person to pick us up from the airport. Even though our plane was 2 hours late there was still someone there to pick is up when we arrived! There was also someone still up to let us into the room when we arrived, the a/c was also already on to cool the room down so we were able to fall straight asleep! Also, an incredible Sri Lankan breakfast is included which you eat near the water. We saw so many animals while eating breakfast - water monitors, squirrels and all different types of birds!

Breakfast is more like a brunch and certainly you wouldn't need anything until the night again! Malinda and his staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Laying on the sunbeds next to the pool surrounded by the trees and a lot of birds, truely tranquil. Have already booked a week for next year. Cannoy recommend highly enough.
