These are two adult trees with trunks - common oak and common pine. The height of the pine tree is 33 m, the height of the oak tree is 27 m. The girth of both trees is 360 cm. A botanical natural heritage site, declared a protected natural site in 1971. It grows in Samylų sen., Kaunas district.

I liked the trees and after scanning the code, it tells a very interesting story about those trees.

Cosy place with short trail to the trees. In the middle of forest. Not crowded. Amazingly connected oak with the pine.

Through narrow forest roads, you will reach the twin trees - oak and pine. We were a little scared if we were going there, we wanted to go back several times, but there is nowhere to even turn around and if you meet another car, I have no idea how to turn around, because even the plants are right next to the car windows 😄 Amazing view of the forest! We drove in pouring rain, extreme enough! But it was worth it!

I don't think it's worth going specifically, but for example on the way from Kadagii Valley it's worth stopping by, it's a really cozy, beautiful place. The grown-up trees are very friendly, it was interesting to see. There are road signs, following them we drove right next to them. There is no access, a narrow forest road, very potholed in places.

Beautiful, mystical place, natural art! It's just a shame that visitors leave trash, especially after doing natural things. Paper and everything they could clean themselves with was imposed on them. It's nature, my dears, to clean it with leaves. And walk away from the path, if you can't stand it anymore.
