This place deserves awards. Menu is simple but they have their custom burgers 🍔; just ask! Everything is exceptional but the buns are a definite highlight. As per the chef’s recommendation, I got the burger with barbecue sauce, cheese and their handmade, hand-smoked bacon 🥓. The bacon was crispy and smoky and the barbecue sauce perfect: just a bit tangy and just a bit sweet but left some space for the meat to show off. Next time I really want to try the regular cheese burger. Cole slaw was great and quite fruity; maybe some pineapple in there? Feels like it would be very refreshing on a hot summer night.

If you’re in Fukuoka, don’t skip this place. I was planning on grabbing a burger for lunch before leaving town that afternoon and ended up staying for dinner too! Living in Japan for 3 years, the experience felt just like being back home in the USA. Connected with the owner, Jim, and the more we spoke, the more I felt like I’d known the guy for years. Staff also excellent. Burger was fantastic, best you’ll get in Japan, hands down. He grinds his own beef, cures the bacon. I had a double cheeseburger with fries and a coke, Jim’s recommendation. No surprise he has customers tear up regularly when they bite in. No surprise of the nearly flawless rating with 500+ reviews. They also have a secret menu if you ask, but that’s a secret. I’ll go every time I’m back in town.

Amazing lunch at U.S. Burger. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger and fries. The restaurant is very well located and the service was amazing. The burger was great, I highly recommend it. It was just perfect, like I described it to the owner, it's a manageable burger that you can actually eat without a fork and knife. If you are in Fukuoka, this place is a must.

Little piece of America right in the heart of Fukuoka, probably the best burger I've ever had in Japan.......felt like I was back in the US just for dinner time! Everything is freshly homemade right in front of your eyes, the burger patties are made fresh everyday. The owner and his burger master executive chef are both super fun to chat with......and my only "complaint" is that I needed a second burger even though I was stuffed from the first one, but I just couldn't stop eating because it was the best burger I've had in ages!

Burger was really good! It had the exact great amount of spices, and the toppings were amazing. I would have preferred a little bit pinkier meat, since mine was completely cooked, but I guess that's just their style. The conversation with the owner was amazing! If I'd be staying longer in Fukuoka, I'd be a regular here.

The best burger we had when we got to Fukuoka. Jim is great and so patient, we also share some stories with him and his difficulty to find staff. One thing to note though, you must be patient as well when coming in here because of the one-man-chef. But we really enjoyed our lunch and our time there. Great burger! One of the best, if not the best, I’ve had in Japan! The buns are top notch and the meat is coming from the grinder, which makes it very special! Will def be back here. I had mine with double patty, cheese, mushroom&onion as well as the crispy homemade bacon which I’ve been craving for since living in Japan. Nothing you find in many places, so make sure to add the bacon to your burger! Coke is served in the glass bottle, the best way to enjoy the American softdrink number 1! The owner is very friendly and makes everyone feel welcome 🙏 no wonder they are top rated 👏

I was so looking forward to visiting it for a while after watching it on YouTube. It did not disappoint. The burger is made right in front of you after ordering. This is hand made one by one, not factory produced hamburgers. Real meat, real taste. You can go solo as you will always find someone to talk with (most likely the owner himself). Will definitely go back next time I am in Fukuoka.

Best burger in Japan. Bun is custom order. Jim makes his own bacon and prepares his own beef. I’m surprised he doesn’t have his own cows. Ingredients don’t hit the counters until he’s cooking. Burger was the best I’ve had in Japan so far. There’s was so much flavor with such simple ingredients. Really felt like a bite from home just 100x better. The Owner offered me another burger and I wish I would of had it but I just couldn’t fit anymore food in my body haha. I will definitely be coming back again very soon. I highly recommend. Stopped by on our arrival in Fukuoka, and had dinner with the owner. The menu is simple, the food is amazing, the ambience is wonderful. It's a handmade, culinary masterpiece on a bun, and you won't regret stopping. My husband got a double, which was massive, my daughter got a simple single, and I got a cheeseburger with mushrooms and onions. Delicious. The owner is practically a food scientist, deeply passionate about flavor profiles, and is meticulous about smoking meats and the quality of his food, and it SHOWS. Definitely worth the time and money.

a very satisfying burger. the patty is beefy and grilled really nicely. the buns are soft yet slightly crispy on the outside ( because of the butter). the entire burger is juicy so be sure to have some napkins with you before you eat. tip: be there slightly before they open so you get seated immediately. if you go during peak hours (e.g. lunch time), be prepared to wait.

After being in Japan for almost a year there was one thing I really missed, a proper American burger. Places like US Burger are far and few between, but this is hands down one of the the best burgers I've ever had in my life, let alone in Japan. A great meal with a great experience! I ordered a single patty burger. The patty was 100% angus beef and was very juicy. The buns were toasted and the sauce is delicious. Everything was well balanced and it was a really satisfying burger. It cost 950 yen for the single patty burger excluding tax still. The service was excellent and it was amazing how friendly everyone was. You can talk with them freely and they would even initiate conversation. So while you wait for your burger to be cooked, you may not notice the time as you enjoy the atmosphere and the company. The only time you would notice your burger is when you smell it as it cooks and when you bite into it. The atmosphere was great as well and the place is nice to hang out in. You see Jim cooking in front of you and preparing the burgers which helps to excite your appetite. I would recommend coming here to get a burger and get to know people.

As someone who grew up in America, it's the best burger I've ever had! The meat was so juicy and I inhaled the burger in 5 minutes! The atmosphere is very American. The restaurant is not like fake American-core, but like a good hole in the wall burger joint you could find anywhere in the States. Service unfortunately is slow since Jim is the only cook and he goes at his own pace. However if you are willing to wait longer than usual for the food, you will have the best burger of your life!

Was pleasantly surprised by USBurger. One of the tastiest burgers I’ve had in Japan. Like that it is a homemade beef burger. Lots of flavor and made with care. The fries are good and the BBQ sauce is on point. If lookIng for a solid hamburger in Fukuoka, this is the spot.

When in Japan, you sometimes want something not Japanese food but also authentic. The only disappointment I get was the fact that I’m not living in fukuoka to eat this again. Meat was perfectly cooked, buns are fresh and delicious, bacon however was out of this world, my expectations were okay but I should have increased it cos it was damn great. Utterly delicious to say the least. 11/10 Jim, the owner, was really friendly too, had a fun time conversing with him
