so glad we stumbled on this place - the beef is incredible (we got the wagyu box) and the burger is one of the best i’ve ever had. the fries slap too. the owners are also super warm and informative - we learned more about the town and their ingredients. they’ve won consecutive tournaments at the japanese beef olympics and it shows as the quality is beyond stellar. never thought one of our best meals in japan would be a burger in uji but it definitely was - highly recommend!!!

Tucked away in a food hall is a restaurant that offers delicious wagyu beef served in different ways. It uses the Wagyu beef that has been voted the best in Japan for two consecutive years. We ordered the steak bowl (medium rare) and a wagyu burger. The steak was a perfect medium rare where the chef used a portable burner to cook it and dress it over the rice. It came with miso soup that was perfect for a cold day. Also an egg for dipping your steak into. The burger was beautifully presented over a bed of fried onions and topped with ketchup, mustard, lettuce, and tomato. Nothing was over compensating and the beef was the star. Flavorful and juicy, I could really tell the quality of the meat. The chef took extra care In prepping this. The fries that were served were also perfectly crispy with a tiny herb twist to it. I couldn’t stop eating it. The service is what really stood out. The chef spoke with us in both English and Japanese. When there was something he wanted to tell us, he utilized a translation app to make sure we communicated efficiently. He was so kind and the food matched his love for cooking. Highly recommend if you’re feeling nostalgic for a burger or wanting something a little different. We would definitely come back!

This is a treasure find. They have the best Waygu beef and great prices. The owners are a couple of entrepreneurs that decided to open a restaurant using the best local ingredients. This is a must try!!

The wagua beef is extraordinary and tastes great. I choose the medium rare level and the beef outside are cooked and juicy in the centre. The size is a little bit small but you can give a note for more rice when you order the wagua beef set. The staff is very nice and they are willing to chat with you. You can ask anything you want such as the nearby sightseeing spot or about the shop. However, the shop is small and have limited seats. It would be difficult to dine in when you have over 4 people to eat here. Overall, I recommend people to have lunch here when you are in love in wagua beef when sightseeing here.

What a hidden gem. While waiting for a table at Nakamura Tokichi, I was searching for a place for snacks. I came across this hidden place and ordered the A5 Kagoshima Wagyu on rice set. It did not disappoint and the super big egg yolk complemented the dish very well. The staff (I assume he's the owner?) was very friendly.

和牛オリンピック連覇した最高級お肉が食べれるお店。私が伺った時には、なんとA5の12等級でした。口の中でとろける感じのお肉でしたよ。 店内カウンターのみの6席ほどしかなく、土日祝のみの営業、そして観光地… 並ぶのか？と思いきや11時前に店前に着くと並んでない… 待っていると営業時間前ですがお店をオープンしてくださいました。 店内は可愛らしい絵が書かれており、肉というよりカフェっぽい。 店主さんも優しい方で和やかに美味しく堪能させていただきました。 ご飯の量がボリューム少なめの為、ご飯大盛りでもいいかもしれませんね。

We have very good food here, good hamburgers, good french fries. The couple the boss, are very nice. We have very good chatting, and they are very lovely. Caring their kids as well as opening their business. We will see you again!

Credit card 👍 Small spot. Only 8 seatings. It's inside food park, all the way in the back. All I can say is this place is worth the price. Not too crazy, and yet you get a good amount of Wagyu meat. I got mine medium because I've been eating quite a lot of medium rare meat, kinda want a break from it. Regardless, medium still tasted great. If you want some meat, drop by this place!

Thank you for a great meal while visiting Uji! I’m glad I found your restaurant on Google Maps. I came with my parents and we all loved our food, my dad loved the burger so much he ordered two more to eat later 😂 The fries are so good too, loved learning that they’re from Hokkaido and naturally sweeter. We appreciated using Google Translate to communicate!! Great to learn more about the restaurant and food. I will be back if I’m ever in Uji again, it was a highlight of our trip :)
