福岡の『鮨さかい』さんに初訪問。 今回は友人に予約からすべて任せて空港からタクシーで向かうだけでした。 お店の雰囲気がとても良く、それだけでも満足でしたが赤シャリに合う新鮮なネタすべてが最高です。 特に中トロとイカが最高に美味しかったです。 何度でも通いたいお店です、福岡の方がうらやましい。

This place in my humble opinion is up there for the top sushi restaurants off all time , it does indeed have 3 Michelin stars but so do bad restaurants too , so that’s not even a factor in this rating . The uniqueness of this sushi restaurant is Daigo Sakai’s San skills with pairing the right fish with the desired rice temperature . It’s such a meticulous process that requires perfect timing in delivery & consumption ( therefore he requests it to be eaten asap ) it’s rare that I find a sushi restaurant that gets a load of fish variety right in one Omakase , until I dined here.

Note: the entrance to the establishment is a bit hard to find on Google maps so please get there a few minutes before your reservation just in case! The restaurant is immaculately clean. Food was excellent and service was great. Patrons were offered an option for smaller/half portion rice with sushi, which is great for those watching their carbs intake 😂 One of the servers was a bit clumsy and knocked a patron's half glass of beer over. They then gave them the same amount (half a glass) of beer in a smaller glass. The toilets were very clean and packeted mouth washers were also available

The sushi were really flavourful. I particularly love the tuna and the aji. The chef was very professional and handled the food really well. The staff were really helpful and thoughful and catered to my needs as i didnt speak japanese. Overall an amazing experience.
