Annie's was previously a favorite breakfast spot for us. We recommended it to people, craved certain things, the whole 9 yards. The service there was always a mixed bag, but the food was always great. This past weekend we took an out of state visitor there to share a good local food experience with them. We were seated and not approached by a server until I asked for one 15 minutes later. They weren't busy. We ordered and the food came in a normal amount of time, but the scones we ordered never came. When we asked our server about it he chuckled, apologized, and said they (the kitchen?) forgot them. The food was flavorless. Normally the SOS gravy is well seasoned and delicious. My scone had raw dough in the middle. Our out of state guest was polite about it, but the meal just wasn't what we experienced from Annie's in the past. The bad service was something we could overlook in the past because of how good the food was, but now there is no excuse and really no reason for us to go back. Maybe our experience was an anomaly. Either way, Annie's needs to do better.

Reserving a star for future visits. We returned here after several years because of the recommendation that we try the restaurant under new management. It was worth the visit. Greeted quickly and seated with drinks. Food was delivered in that right amount of time that you expect for a meal made to order. Everything was at the temperature we expected. Rather pleased, but not wowed. Service dropped off after, but we expected this on a weekday morning. Always friendly. Large portions. Cardboard to-go boxes. Clean and tidy. Lots of seating, and contrary to the previous management, both sides were being used. This opened up the restaurant and made it feel less crowded. A wise move. Parking aplenty and a short walk inside. Easy to get together from the 200 North exit. Annie's is back in the rotation and we'll return soon.

We were out for a drive and came across this place, and so had no expectations. The menu is very limited and different from what was shown online. I got the French dip, and I have to say it was very good, I was just a little disappointed that it was $11 and didn't come with anything. When ordering a sandwich, you have to pay extra for fries, onion rings, salad, etc. I did get a scone to go, and it was huge, they have other treats like sweet rolls and peanutbutterbars. My friend got the 5 egg ham and cheese omelet, she liked it a lot. The toast came with homemade strawberry jam that was yummy. I would rate this place at the higher end of diners since everything seemed to be made fresh.

We dine-in at 1pm. They weren't very busy and had very slow service. The waitress was friendly and on top of everything but the cook was slow. They didn't get all of our food to us at once. They served our food in sections. I wanted over easy eggs and they gave me scrambled. They did bring me new eggs that were over easy but after I was already done eating. The Omelet, French Toast, Scone and Orange Juice tasted good. The Hash Brown was burnt tasting and waffle was just okay. We probably won't be going back. Ate: -Ellie's Waffle w/ Strawberries & Whipped Cream plus side of bacon and eggs -Mason's Breakfast (French Toast, egg, meat) w/ side of Hash Browns -Everything Omelet w/ Hash Browns & Scone

We loved this place. You can tell they have a fun culture and care offering good jobs to the people in the community around them. The food portions were generous and filling. Everything was yummy and hit expectations. Our kids liked it and is very family friendly. We will definitely be returning when we’re in town.

Love love love this place! Definitely my favorite place for breakfast food. I always get the Kaysville special. The honey butter on the scones and the sos gravy sauce is the best! It does get pretty busy here but it’s definitely worth it

I’m not a fan of the changes made to this place. They shortened the menu and took off their waffles and their raspberry fritters. The food is good but they also raised their prices. My sister ordered an omelet and asked for egg whites and her omelet cost her 19$. Overall I’m not a fan of the new changes.

Always fantastic food! Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Love that they are open for dinner, too! We love coming as a couple for a date or as a family.

Pros . Prices are fair Food was good. I went specifically for the scone. The eggs looked and tasted like they were mixed too much or l poured on the grill from a premixed carton. The sausage was AMAZING. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. Cons.. I have issues with plastic glasses, even with a straw. This is a personal preference, I know, but it's in my review. The construction outside the window is a distraction to the atmosphere.

This place has changed since the last time I ate here. It’s under new ownership and the owner is amazing. We had the privilege of eating next to him. He was very attentive to our table and made sure we had the best service. They have a new menu with some new entrees, but a lot of the old favorites are on there as well. The serving sizes have always been really big. I ended up putting half of mine in a to go box. This is a ma and pa style restaurant. I would definitely recommend eating here. The fries and onion rings are homemade and they are so good! And don’t forget to try the scones they are amazing!

07112022: Great breakfast this afternoon here at Annie’s. First attempt was not very good, but this is one of those places that wants their customers to be happy. My server, Samantha, had my breakfast remade and it came out perfectly! They have the most delicious bacon ever, it is thick cut (for real) and had a great taste to it. It wasn’t burnt and not raw but cooked properly and still was the right texture. This turned out to be a great find here in Kaysville, Utah. Great job, Samantha and team!

For a four egg omelet, it didn't appear to be 4, It looked like 3 eggs at best. The veggies and meat inside were chopped so small the taste was almost nonexistent. The service was great, our waitress was on it like blueb bonnet! The price is High for a "four" egg omelet. Coffee is delicious, good parking, plenty of seating, food is typical mom and pop diner. Not bad, but nothing to write home about

Came on New years day, busy, but they handled our large group very well. I had a breakfast burrito that was yummy. The owner came and chatted with us. I loved the personalized touch. They were sold out of sweet rolls. One of these days I'll get my hands on one. I hear they are amazing. I got a regular scone (fry bread) if your outside of Utah. I also got a cinnamon score to go. The cinnamon scone comes with the same frosting as the sweet rolls. Amazing! Save room for one of these yummy treats. Good selection of food on the menu. Burgers breakfast, and traditional dinner dishes. If you are in the area with your family try this place out.

Decided to try something new at Annie’s, their new breakfast burrito is my favorite item now. Cindy did an amazing job making sure we were taken care of. I will be coming back for a second burrito soon.

Food's good 😊. But only open certain times limited. I always just go over to black Bear instead or Seal's same quality food and better service. I have not returned because the service wasn't that great I didn't like the wait. If you're not in a hurry try it out. But when you have little kids ❤️ hungry black Bear 🐻 is the place to be.

The service is second to none. Thank you Riley! Great breakfast at a great price.

Really enjoyed the food and the sweet rolls are simply a steal. They are $4 for a roll the size of a dinner plate. So good, we ordered way more food than we needed. The waiter was a little forgetful but we were a big group. I'll definitely go again.

This used to be my families favorite breakfast place. It had been a while since going, but we decided to make the drive. The service was fast, but the food has definitely changed. The SOS tasted like bland white gravy and the scone was no longer the same. I would be happy to pay the increased prices if the food was still the same quality.

They have some of the best scones. If not THE best scones I have ever had. The server was very polite and nice and answered all of our questions, the atmosphere was also very pleasant. We had a booth all to ourselves. No one else was around us, all in all. I will absolutely come back here again and this is somewhere I would bring my family. They did a very good job and I'm very happy with them.

I have been going to Annie's for years and last week was the best experience I've ever had! They have gotten new ownership within the last year and I. Can. Tell! The owner was so friendly. He saw we didn't order a scone and told us we NEEDED one so he brought out a hot, perfect scone for us. He also made sure my little boy got an orange roll with candles for his birthday. They made us feel like a million bucks! The menu has had several upgrades and we will absolutely keep coming back!

I'm going to start with the food, because that's as good a place to start as any. The food was good. This place is an hour away from my home, and I wouldn't drive an hour for the food. You would pass many places with food as good, or even better. But it was good. Particularly they were generous with the bacon, and it was thick and remarkably tasty bacon. The SOS gravy was better than most places' breakfast gravy. And the scones were delicious. But, I would come back for the service and atmosphere. Seemingly staffed mainly by teens, but a very friendly and courteous bunch. It kind of restores your hope in our future. I can't find a place in Eagle Mountain with teenagers that friendly. The building looks like it was a showroom for a car dealership or something. But whoever designed it into a restaurant was clever. It has a very friendly atmosphere. They were slammed busy, but we never felt neglected. Also, on Saturdays they hire a "clown" (a young girl dressed silly, but not at all creepy) to go around entertaining the kids and tying balloon animals. If you have small kids, they will love her. If I have one critique, they could use a 2nd cash register. If I have two, I wanted a t-shirt but they were sold out. Neither one a deal breaker.

Yikes. This used to be one of the best breakfast spots around. I think it may have changed ownership. We went recently and it took more than an hour for any of our food to arrive. Once it came, it was only partially complete. We had to ask a half dozen times to get the rest of our items despite eating very slowly. It didn’t seem the missing items were even on their radar. Eventually we asked again for the rest of our items to go. Some of which they had sold out of and charged us for but I guess forgot about. It took us over two and a half hours to get out of there. Plus it wasn’t very clean. Our table hadn’t been bussed. The light fixtures and fans that were running were dusty. The bathrooms were gross. Not a great sign. Needless to say, won’t be going back.

We usually love going here but we are reconsidering any future visits. We went for breakfast yesterday. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. He started eating thinking that it tasted funny. He then realized that it was raw. When the waitress came back, I said that my husband didn’t order a raw chicken fried steak and eggs. They ended up not charging us for his meal, as they should. But then, they didn’t offer to remake his meal the right way(cooked). So, the rest of us at the table shared some of our food so that he had something to eat. Very disappointed!!

I ordered a sausage & cheese omelet, hash browns, and a cinnamon scone. The omelet had cheddar cheese which I don't like cuz it's greasy. I only ate 4 bites. The hash browns were cold so I only ate 3 bites. The score was the redeeming part of the meal. Cinnamon scone with icing to dip with. It was AMAZING!! Yum! Took half home with me, and ate for breakfast the next day.

The food was okay, not the best. Our was served to us warm my omelet was very runny. It definitely wasn't worth the 2 hr wait. We got seated fairly quickly but then ended up waiting almost 2 hrs for our food. Extremely annoyed that it took so long. It was difficult to find our waitress for anything. There seemed to be a lot of high school kids walking around with staff shirts, but when asked for a waiter or waitress they looked at us highly confused like a deer in headlights????? We had ask led for apple juice for our son and it took another 30 minutes to get that. The staff seemed more worried about the party in the back room then the people up front in the dining area. This was our first time here and it definitely left a sour impression. I can't even recommend the scone with honey butter since ours didn't come with any. Just plain butter.

The good: The scones with accompanying sauce was incredibly delicious. The baked goods are freshly made, warm, butter flakes. Awesome. Eggs were good, fries were really good. Hot wings we're good. Sausage gravy was made from scratch. Chicken fried steak was crunchy and well flavored. The bad: The hash browns were burnt. Sandwich was dry. They didn't bring out the food all at once, but one plate at a time. Verdict: Overall very good food but feels like hit or miss if you wanna try different things on the menu. Definitely going back for those big ol scones. They're huge and so good. Next time I'll try the giant cinnamon roll.

Stopped by for take out without ordering ahead of time. The server was very polite and our order for two was ready in only 10 minutes. Biscuits and gravy were yummy, and the serving size was great. Couldn't finish it all. Our pup got the rest. Seems a bit run down and prices are a little high, but as a previous manager of a food establishment I understand that supply prices are also high, and this gets passed on to the customer. Thank you for the nice meal.

We came to Annie's Diner for a family breakfast get together. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great! Before finishing, the owner even stopped by. He was friendly and genuinely wanted to know how our experience was. We hadn't told anyone that it was our nephews birthday but we told him. He came back a few minutes later with some birthday goodies for our nephew, as well as a treat for my brothers 1yr old son. We had a great time and we'll definitely be coming back!
