Worst Rixos I've been to hotels and Rixos in many countries, but this place is really bad. Breakfast is especially bad. Just a couple of cheap juices and some bad food. In the end we could only eat fried eggs and fruit. Coffee and tea other than Americano are charged for breakfast. Is this a hotel? Could it be that someone got the budget and embezzled it? I've never seen a hotel breakfast without a coffee machine. Almaty's Rixos was not like this. Who manages Simkent Rixos? fire them right now The pool is so dark and people have been diving for hours and the water overflows, but no one washes the floor. It's also strange to ban parents from entering the children's pool. Who is responsible in case of an accident? And since the bathroom is transparent glass and there is no blackout, turning on the light in the bathroom brightens the room. Blinds have no effect. The family could not sleep. Every time I go to the bathroom, the room brightens. This is an incomprehensible hotel. Never go.

Hotel is nice, location is excellent (at least for me. I go everywhere I needed by walking). The only thing I didn't like is, breakfast. I stayed rixos Almaty and comparing to that, breakfast is really poor. (Comparing to usual.hotels, breakfast is good, but anything less than perfect is not okay for me 😉)

Recently we've conducted business meeting there (24.08) in one of the conference rooms and the experience is outrageous. Ventilation system malfunctioned - noise during operation. It was impossible for rear seats to hear the presenter. Solution from the hotel - turn ventilation off and seat in high temperature room. Another issue raised - broken audio speakers. The technical support specialist that came to fix had argue with us saying that it is not his responsibilities to fix such malfunctions because he actually does not work in this hotel (he was supporting his friend he said). Due to this open conflict we had to postpone the event for 30 minutes minimum. I really hope that the management of the hotel conduct internal meetings within own conference rooms to identify issues. Totally missed the expected customer service with actual outcome. Old review: The room was cold. Also, because of location, i heard every vehicle passing by on the streets even though the room was on 6th or 7th floor. And I still cannot receive the closing documents for the accommodation (20 days past).

I have been many rixos hotels in different countries. Shymkent rixos is the worst hotel all of them! Housekeeping never come to your room for cleaning. I begged for them to clean my room and then they came to cleaning finally at 4 p.m. Payment high, services quality one star.

Very nice hotel but inacceptable work of cleaning team: 5 nights spent in the hotel. Each morning the cleaning lady moved all our personal belongings which where on the tables and one day she put all our clothes back in the suitcase and closed it. The staff at the reception just apologise. No privacy in the room and even worse during COVID time...

One of the finest and biggest hotel. Spacious rooms with full wall windows that can open also to get fresh air and plenty of natural lights. Wi-Fi is excellent. Complimentary water bottles, Espresso coffee machine, hot kettle.
