Five
star
price
and
five
star
name
for
3
star
experience.
First,
they
ripped
us
off
by
a
LOT
of
money.
They
obviously
make
it
a
regular
thing
to
swindle
foreign
businesmen
and
are
not
accustomed
to
traveling
families.
We
wanted
to
go
to
a
museum
a
bit
out
of
town,
we
could
have
taken
a
bus
for
almost
nothing,
but
it
was
worth
it
to
us
to
pay
$30
(15,000Tenge)
to
take
a
private
taxi
the
hotel
said
they
would
arrange
for
us.
When
we
returned
from
our
trip,
the
hotel
charged
us
40,000TG
($85)!!!
That's
a
$55
difference
in
what
they
told
us
the
price
would
be
and
what
the
price
actually
was.
When
I
was
clearly
upset
the
receptionist
looked
at
me
like
something
was
wrong
*with
me*.
He
said
"it's
not
even
double
the
price,
what's
the
problem?"
What's
the
problem???
What's
the
problem???
First
I
had
to
teach
him
basic
math
then
I
had
to
explain
to
him
what
the
problem
was.
He
went
to
talk
to
the
manager
and
they
agreed
to
take
10,000TG
off.
That
still
that
still
made
us
pay
DOUBLE
THE
PRICE
WE
HAD
BEEN
QUOTED.
And
the
guy
had
the
nerve
to
look
at
me
like
I
was
the
one
in
the
wrong.
Oh,
they
did
give
us
a
fruit
basket
with
an
apology
card
later
that
night.
I'd
rather
have
my
thirty
bucks
back.
Second,
they
don't
have
a
hot
tub.
They
have
what
should
be
a
hot
tub
but
the
water
is
cold.
Third,
there's
a
hair
dryer
in
the
bathroom
but
nowhere
to
plug
it
in.
You
have
to
take
it
out
into
the
bedroom
where
there's
no
mirror
if
you
want
to
use
it.
Fourth,
overall
the
breakfast
was
very
good
but
on
our
last
morning,
this
morning,
the
chicken
sausage
was
server
cold
and
still
raw
in
the
middle.
Now,
if
you're
still
reading
this
the
bed
was
comfortable
and
the
curtains
are
true
blackout
curtains.
The
room
gets
nice
and
dark
at
night.
If
you're
there
for
a
con
and
won't
be
leaving
anyway
I'm
sure
it's
fine,
if
you're
a
tourist
then
I
recommend
staying
somewhere
else
because
this
place
is
pretty
far
away
from
all
the
museums
and
touristy
destinations.
