St. Regis Astana is a beautiful hotel with lovely, attentive staff and spacious, well appointed rooms. The highlights were the staff working in the bar during our stay who were really exceptional and the check-in. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options and excellent staff. I would gladly stay here again however, I found there were areas for improvement in particular the overall hotel temperature in the depth of December. It was unbearably hot quite often, especially in the bathroom of the room which we tried to control but couldn’t. Also the common areas, unessesarily hot. On check-out I felt this feedback was dismissed slightly. The butler service wasn’t explained as at previous St. Regis stays at other locations, so would have been helpful as a reminder, and one of the concierge Georgian restaurant recommendations was a complete disappointment.

This is hands down the best hotel you can stay at, not just in Kazakhstan, but in whole Central Asia. And I say that not just because of the great location right on the bank of the Ishim river (views!), but because the service is extraordinary. Worth visiting not just in summer, but for a winter staycation as well. Excellent spa, two great restaurants (Sunday brunch is a must), and for breakfast they know what you'd like to have before you even reach your table :) A special thank you to the butlers taking care of our needs at any time - Tatyana, Svetlana, Kayes, Zhar, among others, as well as to Aida, Azhar, Nurbolat - I could go on and on because the personnel is what makes the St Regis Astana stand out from everything else I have experienced to date. Thank you for the special treats every time we visit and the warm hospitality!

I really liked the hotel. The rooms are so beautiful and spacious, the location is great, the room view is amazing. The most friendly and helpful staff I have ever met in Astana, especially the receptionist and Buttler. It was clean, stylish, with excellent service. The are restaurants and bars, where you can have a nice dinner or drinks. Also, you can fully relax in the Iridium spa, where you can find a swimming pool, a terrace with a city view, a hammam, a sauna, a massage, etc.

The St Regis Astana can only be described as nothing shy of excellent. We were celebrating our anniversary there and were treated like royalty. Staff decorated our room, we received free sparkling wine, a free room upgrade, flowers, a cake, complementary wine and chocolate. Service went above and beyond to assure us having a great time. I have been to many great hotels - this one is still exceptional. A true gem with lovely people, great food, beautiful rooms and a stunning venue - indeed the best hotel in Kazakhstan. We have stayed at the st Regis twice now. The hotel is absolute luxury and service is fantastic. The staff are really friendly and have looked after us so well. Many thanks to Indira, Dimash and Nazerke for bringing us amazing treats (see photos) and making our stay so memorable.

Absolutely overrated and terrible!!! No longer in its prime... very disappointed! Half the building collapsed whilst I was staying there!! My partner lost their life in the collapse! Very inconvenienced! P.S Food was good ;)

This hotel, indeed this Country, is a hidden gem. The people there love Americans! The hotel staff is friendly and they aim to please, better than any hotel I have stayed in and I have stayed in over 50 quality hotels. This is the best one. What an awesome experience!! Excellent food, clean, safe rooms (though I think in Kazakhstan it would be safe with the doors unlocked), I am so happy I went. I will be back.

Excellent staff and accommodation in the heart of the city. We live here, but stay at this hotel for all our special occasions, as there is certainly none better in the city!

This was my first time in the country and I had a wonderful stay here. This hotel features great, clean, spacious rooms, greatly furnished and decorared. But the real gem is the exceptional service they provide. The hotel crew and concierge service are very attentive to their guests, making a stay very comfortable. We would like to thank the hotel personnel and will definitely return.

The rooms are beautiful and sound proofed. I couldn't hear anything except the quiet air conditioning when the windows were closed. The staff are very attentive. I ordered tea service before my early morning flight and it was delivered in five minutes with a smile. The breakfast buffet is expansive and changes daily, and the staff will gladly cook something to order.

Its awesome! Rooms are just heaven! Add a bit of engineering skillz and you can use the balcony even in winter👌 breakfast great! Gym is real cool! If i could ask for anything it had been a kettle n espresso in room even that butler brings it free if wanted. Hotel is super warm in winter
