Liked Β· Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. I found the bed to be fairly comfortable and the pillows were nice, not flat and thin. Breakfast was a good spread. This hotel is dog-friendly with dogs kept on the first floor when possible. Plenty of grass outside and treats in the lobby. Disliked Β· Not super quiet and the elevator had some noise and shaking that is a bit nerve wracking. Luckily it's only a 3-floor building. Kearney is always my stopping point when driving cross country to visit family. This hotel will definitely be my go-to from now on, especially when traveling with a dog.

Matthew was amazing and very helpful, he is truly a wonderful asset to the hotel. I am giving the room a "one star" for a reason I choose not to make public at the moment. I'm awaiting a call back from the manager and I hope a resolution can be reached without getting into why on this public forum.

Perfect one night stay. Rooms were very clean; you can still smell the bleach on the sheets (we consider that a good thing). Water pressure of shower was perfect. Dog-friendly; the furball slept very well too and enjoyed walking the grassy areas. Breakfast was pretty good. Would have loved some eggs but the toast and yogurt options were good enough. Coffee was much better than most motel coffees.

Super clean, staff was very helpful, very pet friendly. I rarely travel with my dogs, but had to this time. My first stay at a Microtel was a big success. The bed was very comfortable, the room and lobby/dining areas were clean, everything was in working order, and I was close to the door to take my dogs out for walks. I saw a previous comment that had the same suggestion, to replace carpeting with vinyl or laminate. I didn't notice any odors other than the almost excessive deodorizing they'd done in the room. But carpet holds odors and stains (from pets AND people), and if a previous guest's pet had kennel cough or even fleas, the carpet would hold those. Anyway, thanks to Matt at the front desk who was so helpful in making my reservation and who was there when I checked in, he was very professional and helpful.

Stayed here on Friday, June 9, 2023. Woke up to bites on my legs, arms, back and neck area. Upon inspection, found a bed bug. I took a photo of the blood-stained sheets. I left the room as soon as possible, around 5:30am, and checked out. I quietly informed the front desk gal working of what occurred. I didn't want to talk loudly and have a few guests who were nearby hear. I was advised I'd receive a call from the manager and they would also send maintenance up to the room. While I don't know if maintenance ever went up to the room, I do know that I never heard from the manager that Saturday, nor received any follow-up calls from the Mon-Fri staff. Very disappointed, and unhappy about this. It certainly steers me away from not only this hotel, but this brand altogether.

The hotel was great for the price! We had our dog and everything was super smooth. The room is tiny but clean and comfy. Check in was easy and breakfast was good. We had about 10 gallons of gas siphoned from our uhaul overnight which was a bummer, but not really the hotels fault. Don’t park on the street if you don’t have to, we were instructed to since we had a uhaul. Again, it’s not like the front desk knew the issue would occur (hopefully).

Spacious and the front desk person on duty was very nice. Also loved the little window nook for the cats. They loved it! Breakfast included a waffle maker, so that's a plus too.

The staff is top notch and above and beyond..The beds are comfortable and clean, but that's where it stops. The walls are dirty, the carpets are thin, and the bathrooms need some love too. They said they are working to update things. Let's hope so.

I have stayed here several times with my team over the years. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. Those are my main goals. Oh and the staff is helpful.

Great hotel, super clean, kind and helpful staff, newly remodeled floor, comfy beds, complimentary breakfast, great lighting in the parking lot. This may not be a β€œfancy” hotel however it suits my needs perfectly. I’ll return here every time as long as they continue to take pride in their business.

We were looking for a decently priced stay as a stop on a road trip we were doing. The hotel was fine, it was clean quiet, and had a bed, which is really all we were looking for as we were just passing through. We had attempted to request a newly renovated room, which we did not get, which was really disappointing as the room that we were given was extremely small and outdated but at the end of the day we were just there to sleep and got up first thing in the morning to head back out. There was a free complementary breakfast in the morning, which is probably one of the best hotel breakfast that we had a long our trip So that was a nice surprise.

We got a suite for the two of us plus our 2 dogs. The room was very spacious with excellent lighting and a comfortable bed. It also had a nice pull out couch that was comfortable to sit on and a microwave, frig and second sink. It was updated and clean. The breakfast was decent - waffles, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurts, cereal and instant oatmeal. There were adequate empty lots to walk the dogs on the south side.

So many hotels these days cost more and offer less. But this one has been a perfect balance. I feel like I actually got my money's worth. The free breakfast was the icing on the cake.

We got in late but the person at the front desk was alert and very pleasant. The room was nice and clean and pet friendly. They had a good verity of breakfast foods including waffles you could make fresh from batter yourself.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. They are remodeling the rooms, and I stayed on the floor that had been done. Rooms may be small, but they have everything you need. The price was amazing compared to other motels in the area, which raised their prices by $50 or more the week before the July 4 holiday. A perfect road trip stay.

We will look for this chain on future road trips. Comfortable beds with really good pillows. Complimentary breakfast choices were not a wide as other places, but the quality was very good.

Every star is for the staff. Rudy was so professional and nice. The morning worker whose name I didn't get was also so accommodating and she was shoveling like a boss in the morning. For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the service. This also extends to the maid service. The hotel is dated (they are in the process of updating) but it was very well cleaned. Pet deposit was reasonable at $25 and the pets felt welcomed. Would stay here again if I had the need

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in Kearney. I stay here multiple times throughout the year and I’ve never had a bad experience. 1. Friendly Staff 2. Great location off 80, with a Casey grocery store right across the street, coffee shop and restaurants 3. I’ve always felt safe at this location, even when taking my dog out late. 4. Super dog friendly with a reasonable pet fee 5. The beds are super comfy and warm 6. Rooms are always super clean and welcoming I don’t have any negative feedback

Not worth the price. My husband and I stayed here for one night as we were traveling cross country and were traveling with our pet. When we checked into a pet friendly room, we were told that for one night it was going to cost $147 after taxes and after the pet fee. We were okay with that until we got charged $167. I called to sort things out and they said it was correct. We're a bit disappointed as the TV didn't work and they didn't have a good breakfast selection. Wasn't worth the price for us.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed - family road trip stop and stay place. It is inexpensive. Staff is great. rooms are clean, not outdated, bed/mattress was very comfortable, breakfast was great. The hotel IS pet friendly, but it seems they have pet rooms only on the bottom floor - and zero pets by the breakfast area, which would have for sure docked a star on this here review. IF you are just passing through Kearney (as perhaps most people are...?) this is your pit stop spot.

The place is a nice motel. But when I asked for a downstairs room over the phone, the clerk at the motel very nicely recommended a room on the upper floors since they had an elevator and that the rooms downstairs were "pet friendly." After agreeing to her recommendation and thanking her for it, when I arrived I was given a ground floor room. The room was handicapped accessible and was a bit cramped. The bathroom flooded when taking a shower because the water wouldn't stay in the confines of the shower. On the other hand, the staff were friendly, the breakfast area was clean and the waffles were fantastic! The guest there were extremely nice as well. The location is convenient to the Interstate but as I found out at the other 7 or 8 hotels that I stayed at, the prices were a bit steep. Still, I would stay there again if the price is right and I could get a room on the upper floors.

Wonderful piece. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. The young lady who checked us in was friendly, helpful and efficient. They are a pet friendly motel, so much so that they have treats for your fur baby. The breakfast was tasty too. An all around pleasant stay.

Nice size for the room. Bed was really comfy. Karla was very welcoming during the check in. Quieter location so sleep was well. Satellite TV picture did not sync with audio. Internet works but be patient.

Had to clean something off the floor (ew) but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. Super nice staff. Great breakfast. Pet friendly with area to walk around. Accommodated special requests. Would stay again.

Clean rooms. Everything was modern and up to date. Above-average breakfast including hot items and a good assortment of breads for toasting, cold cereal, juice and coffee. A few restaurants nearby to walk to and many other restaurants just a short car drive away.
