Mizan has only done my hair once. The wait was terrible! 3 1/2hrs! I only stayed bcuz I NEEDED my hair done bad.I was satisfied with the outcome and she did give me free stuff for the wait.She also recommended I do certain things to my locs to maintain them. My next appointment got cancelled bcuz she was having surgery on her shoulder. HER FILLIN WAS GREAT!! NO WAITING AND SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY! I hope she come back soon. She is the one that did this style I have left pics of also.

Great service & great experience! I was looking for a local salon to retighten my microlocs. I was sold when I scheduled an appointment without all the loopholes that seem to be common in salons these days. This was my first experience with a loctician since I self-started my microlocs and I was nervous. My stylist Tia took great care of me! She revived my locs using the natural salon-made products which felt amazing on my scalp, re-parted my locs, and combined some that we’re thinning. She was consistent and wasnt distracted throughout my experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Found this place through a friend who use to work at their location. I've been in Jersey going on over 15 years and wasn't able to find a solid place to go to . Well, that's a thing of the past and KR really cater to DreadLocks. I missed my initial appointment yesterday and luckily there was a slot open for later in the day and they basically made it happen for me. The buisness is tucked away in a loft style building and the location is beautiful. Tee was my stylist and she was really nice. She washed my hair 3 times with a natural wash they make , greased my scalp and hair again with something they make, of course dried my hair and styled . Great experience and I was basically asleep the whole time, lmao but definitely would recommend for DreadLocks and all Roots Man...

If you're on the fence, TRY THEM OUT!! My first time here, and I have to say I probably return. I came from Pennsylvania, because my stylist was out of town and my back up was booked. I google natural loc salons and they came up. The style was new and I was scared it would come out before my big day. However, it held up! Now, for the part yall here for. This place is an A+ love the location. It's a nice building with plenty of parking. The stylist was super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing. I noticed many good books and nice art that was throughout the salon. The price was a bit higher then I'm accustomed to. Yet, I think I'll keep them as my 3rd clutch being I do live almost two hours away from there.

Mizan is the Best Loctician I’ve ever been with hands down! Always on time, very flexible appointments and beyond talented! She can do any style you ask of her I mean any style! If she hasn’t done it before all you have to do is show her a photo of what you want and she will do it guaranteed! She is so good, after 2 years I no longer choose my styles I just tell her to create what she feels that day and I’m always beyond satisfied! She’s been doing locs longer than I been alive so her knowledge on hair is beyond impeccable! Also, The studio is super clean & professional! Mizan is the only loctician I allow to touch my hair! If I have to go to a wedding and she is away on vacation I’d be at that wedding without a retwist guaranteed! PS: I’m going to get my locs maintenance tomorrow so see you guys there!
