This Gili is adjacent to Gili Bidara, and close to Gili Lampu and Gili Kapal. Gili Kondo is relatively unknown compared to Senggigi Beach, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and other gili-gilis (small islands) on Lombok Island. It's not surprising that this dyke is empty of visitors and is still virgin. Even if there are visitors, only local residents and a few foreign tourists. But this is precisely where the attraction of Gili Kondo is. Its pristine nature and far from the hustle and bustle offers a million surprises for anyone who comes. In fact, this island can feel like it's private property. This small island is not difficult to reach. Can be accessed from Mataram (West Lombok), Selong (East Lombok) or from Lombok International Airport in Praya, Central Lombok. However, because this Gili is not yet popular and there are no advertisements specifically promoting it, travelers should ask about the location of Sambelia, then ask about Gili Kondo. The road to this hidden paradise island is fairly smooth. Even though it is not very wide, the asphalt is slippery and is flanked by shady trees on either side of the road. The condition of the road is empty of passing vehicles, making anyone who passes this road feel comfortable, cool and calm. Moreover, each point of the journey presents a different view. At one point we can see the lush green foot of Mount Rinjani, and at another point we can see a forest filled with rare trees with large and towering roots and trunks. Two trees are seen united and embracing each other. At another point, from between the trees, we can see a stretch of calm blue sea with fishing boats leaning on the edge. There is also a point that shows the passage of ships crossing from Lombok Island to Sumbawa Island. If traveling from Pringgabaya, East Lombok, Gili Kondo is located before Gili Lampu and is on the right side of the road. You need to concentrate on seeing the signboards on the side of the road. This is because the signboard to Gili Kondo is only a small white board and is simply written. If it's difficult to find the way to Gili Kondo, don't hesitate to ask local residents. As soon as you see the sign saying crossing to Gili Kondo, that's the road to Gili Paradise. The entrance is in the form of an alley and is not paved. After passing through the small alley for about 200 meters and turning to the left, we can immediately see the stretch of beach sand. This beach is called Padak Guar.
