Legendary restaurant that has been established since 1970s. No wonder if they have lots of customers. Besides, the price is surprisingly affordable. You can order Solo traditional food and don't forget to have a try with their ice cream. So delicious!

This restaurant is one of the best restaurant that i have visited. It offer you a nice atmosphere, quiet good service. What i like the most is the foods and drinks. I recomended you to try the Selat Segar, it has a sweet taste broth and a tender beef on the center. With vegetables and potato nearby, it makes the Selat Segar more delicious. And you must try the Pinokio Ice cream too!. The iconic ice cream from this restaurant. So Yummy. You should visit this restaurant.

When we went there were on lunch hour, of course all table are full. We waited for about 15 minutes and get a big table but we only use the corner. No table number and no dine amenities (spoon, fork, tissue, straw like show on picture). Finally after 30 minutes one of our order came, then others. The waitress didn't have initiative to prepare dine amenities. I have to ask to her and wait for 5 minutes she bring it (only spoon, fork and knife - show on picture). My wife order chicken gordon blue and no chilly or tomato sauce came. Finally we ate and when i get to pay i talked to a leader (Madame who control in restaurant) about my complaints and she said sorry for the bad experience. When i paid the bill there where a mistake wrong bill because no number. This was disappointed services. The taste weren't bad. But i won't back there and didn't recommended this restaurant to you. Even we were unsatisfied, when we finished ate, we make our table are ready to be clear up as usual (in picture).

Ordered chicken cordon bleu and see what’s been served to me…. Pretty much like nugget 😂 And served with gravy, not the cordon bleu sauce 🤣 1 more thing, this dish wasn’t even breaded 🥱

Come back here to eat, relax and talk to the brothers. This restaurant is very nice. There's a wide variety of foods and beverages to try. Everything tastes nice and cheap. The service is good. Clean and close to downtown.

This restaurant is super famous among tourists travelling in Solo city. So don't be shocked if you find out that the restaurant is crowded. The consequence is your food would be longer to be served. The taste is quite delicious for me at a reasonable price. I recommend you try some selads and ice creams. Those are their favourites. In the end, for the best experience, I would like to advise you to come on weekdays.

The right place to find authentic taste of food. Like coming to grandma's house. The place is not fancy. Its an old time restaurant. But its worth visiting because the food is so good. I think I already tasted the best Selad Solo. Other food like bistik lidah, kroket are also yummy.

Classic. I would imagine these are the foods people ate in colonial dutch indies times. Stoop macaroni & es kopyor durian are highly recommended.

Best deal to complete your dining experience in Solo. One of legend resto you should try! Various range of menu, they privide appetizer - dessert with great taste, cheap price, and fast service. Located in the downtown which very strategic. I recommend you to try the kroket mayo, best kroket I've ever tried. While the ice cream is kinda sorbet

Classic food, Dutch-Solo cuisine, from colonial era. It should be 5 stars food, but came here Saturday night, so hectic, full of people, and the food here, first selat segar, no fork and knife nor spoon. Then came steak lidah, still no fork and spoon at all. And then, the drinks and ice cream came. Who serve ice cream when the main hasn't been eaten because the customer had no spoon, fork, nor knife at all. Then we came down to ask for spoons, forks, or knives. They apologize, they forgot that we haven't had any utensils. If you want ice cream after meals, ask specifically to serve it later, or order ice cream separately later. So after waiting for the spoon, and finishing the main course, we ate the ice cream. Nougat. It has melted.

Top quality in taste, presentation, and price. No other restaurants can match the menu combination on this restaurant. You can find selat galantine, sop manten, sop buntut, and nasi goreng here, definitely must try for solo authentic culinary

an authentic place to eat that sells a variety of dishes from the city of Surakarta, and various other Indonesian dishes. the prices are relatively cheap, the place is homy and comfortable with old architectural style and furniture, parking space is limited, especially during peak hours.

An oldie but goodie. This place reminds me of my childhood, where the food is easy to digest but the place is fun to be in. I’d recommend going for the hotplate dishes, they are excellent. Sop Matahari is pretty neat as well. I’d stay away from their Es Teler Duren, it’s rather bland and not really refreshing.

This is one of the coolest places for culinary lovers. Many kinds of authentic food around Central Java with calm vibes inside... various menu, delicious flavors, great services, and relatively low prices. It's worth trying it during your vacation in Surakarta. It's easy to reach this place because it's located on the main road and the corner of junction. I think almost all of the g*jek or gr*b already used to be known for the restaurant...

I'll always visit a legendary restaurant whenever I visit a city. KUSUMA SARI is one of it. The steak came in a hot plate. The food tasted good. Especially loved the Kroket. Also tried their homemade ice cream. I was impressed with a waitress. Didn't get her name. She was very lively, helpful, quick and friendly. Love her spirit.

The restaurant was busy like a bee when i came there on the weekend, but that was totally worth it cz everything that i tried was superbbbbb, especially for their “Pis Roti” and “Es Beras Kencur”. I recommend you to put in this one in your bucket list when you’re in Solo city.

One of the classic restaurants in Solo. This restaurant gives out vintage 80s atmosphere. The food is good, there many dishes you can choose from. I orderd the salad seger (selat solo). The soup tasted good and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. I love the taste of the mayo? (The white and sweet clump on the side). Unfortunately, the meat was a bit tough. I also ordered es teler. It was not my favorite. The palm fruit(colored in green) tasted weird. Overall, it was satisfying, and the price is reasonable too.

Vintage resto with original recipe, so tasty. The place is also old fashioned but comfy with AC. We dont need any longer waiting time for their servicing time🤗

It's quite good. However, their portion of food might be a bit small for those who are hungry. Their ice cream is quite good. Their price is not cheap, but still affordable. One of the problems is to get a parking space. As this place is close to the main road, they have very little space. It's advisable to get here, either by public transport or just walk.

It's difficult to find a parking space. The service is disappointing. Due to the rush hour on Sunday afternoon, we sit on the second floor. The air is hot, one of the ACs is not working. We ordered nasi manten, sop manten, sop buntut, setoop makaroni, selat galantin, nasi goreng, pinokio and black forest ice cream. We waited for almost an hour. I complained to the waitress and she said that the restaurant is crowded so it will take more time. But All the tables that came after us, already had their order. She said the soup buntut and nasi manten we ordered took more time to serve. But none of our dishes are served. When finally the dishes are served, the soup is already cold, even the sop buntut said it needs more time to serve. The only well served (hot) is setoop macaroni. We will definitely not come back again, and do not recommend it especially if you bring kids and value your time.

This is the place where you're not only buy food, but also the place for recalling your childhood memories 😊 Everytime you're in Solo, it's not complete before you eat here. The "steak lidah", coffee float, "kulit goreng", stoop macaroni, "kroket mayones", and "es krim pinokio" are the memorable foods you guys have to try if stopping here. These are authentic that you may not find in other place. Remember Solo, remember Kusuma Sari ❤️❤️❤️
