Very nice place to visit. Once for a while, I will visit the Maritime place for dipping in a harbor life even for just several hours. Let the ocean wind blow to the face, watching the boats, snapshot the eagles flying down to catch fishes. I would recommend to visit and spend a couple of hours walking along the water front. Till the sunset, you can walk over the temple front night market for enjoy traditional Taiwanese cruise. Highly recommend. (2019 recommended) After two years, due to the pandemic of Covid 19, the board restrictions “tight” results in a empty harbor with No ships. Very lonely. Even there are some activities to enrich the city, but still some constructions reduce the attraction of the harbor. Very sorry to regrade and down adjust to three stars. (2021 April)

Located near Keelung TRA station, 10mins walk. Good open view of the harbour. It gets super windy & cold during winter time. Tourist photo taking area. Opposite it lies a row of shops which one can explore to satisfy some shopping urge. Also a Chinese temple 城隍庙just right around the corner. Just walk across the road and explore, be respectful and lower your volume to enjoy the architecture of the building. You can also walk to KeeLung Night market further down the road, where u can find famous mouthwatering streets food to enjoy on.

I love Ocean Square since i was 5 years old. It's amazing to see cruise ships, many other smaller ships or boats, and a wide-open sea. We always take photos here and appreciate the open sea.

Another plaza built in 2009 where various open air artworks can be seen. Wood board floor, a few people are seen taking a shade or sleeping on the artworks. Must give a good panoramic view of the port. RP

Usually ships are not too frequent but the place looks cool and the Hollywood keelung sign is visible from here 😂

We came here from Taipei on train with NTD 41 / pax (1 way) to visit this beautiful town and many more other attractions and places to visit. You can rent a motorcycle right opposite of the train station and tour around Keelung! (need an international license for foreigners)

Former major Lin as a city planner brought sweeping rejuvenation to this area. Once completed, the Maritime Plaza (called Ocean Square in Mandarin) is a renewed centerpiece. It connects the East and West passenger terminals with the train and bus stations. A good spot to sit and watch.

There aren't many touristy places in Keelung City but this one was nice. You could stare into the ocean or watch large cruise ships at the bay.

A must place to visit when in Keelung City. From Taipei it is very convenient to do a half a day trip in the afternoon to Keelung City and visit the Night market as well and back to Taipei before 9pm.

Nice place by the sea. From here you can see different types of ships and vessels. It's a typical spot for photos. Very close to the train station. Across the street are a few shops.

Amazing place! You can relax and enjoy together with family and friends. There are fountain with different colors and people statue to selfie with and a fake grass where you can relax like sitting or lying down. You can also smell fresh air but be sure to wear a mask for safety. You can come and go there to experience, bring your family and friends!

beautiful and relaxing place to be in the day and night! If u’re lucky you might catch views of cruise ships as they dock! There’s also some navy vessels from the ROC Navy (there is a naval base down the road). Windy and breezy but very comfortable!✨

Spacious and very good harbour view. Just several minutes walk away from E-Square (a shopping arcade) and within 10 minutes walk from the famous night market (廟口夜市).

You can see the huge ferries from here. Port of Keelung was 7th largest harbour in the world. This is very close to train and bus station. So you can visit here frankly.

It’s the first stop you reach when you come by bus to Keelung. The smell of the sea hits you straight away. The walk is pleasant on the wooden platform and you can watch the gigantic cruise ships stationed in the port. Also, lots of birds and eagles flying around. There are some music singers and families gather there at the evening. Wide open terrace by the water. The letters ‘KEELUNG’ are interestingly shaped to function also as seating for people passing by. From here you can see the ships docking and if you take a look towards the mountains you can see the Keelung Landmark.

Great area to see the harbor. Eagle watching on a sunny day is always fascinating. There are shows and events occasionally.
