It was an absolute dump in a car breakers yard. We stepped into reception from a load of empty gas bottles, it was flooded. The loos and shared shower have not been cleaned in months. The kitchen needs to be sealed off and condemned. Rust in the bottom of the fridge, mold in the oven and the sink tap hanging off. I felt sorry for the cockroach living in such squalid condition. If I could of given it a minus star I would of.

I want to be fair in my review so I should be clear that based on the photos and description I thought this place would be in much better shape and so I started out disappointed. As overnight shelter it's affordable and for the frugal traveler probably fine. It was generally clean but the shower floor covering was mildewy and we didn't use it. The provided bedding was threadbare. A towel would have been nice. None of the bathroom doors worked well and the one private bathroom's door stuck and was so loud to open and close it sounded like it was busting into our room. Very little sound sleep was had as people went in and out of it at all hours. It's 10 minutes from the airport so convenient that way, but it was a crappy last night in Iceland.

The place is close to the airport, it has got kitchen and the communal area is big. But it's not very clean and it is in a car demolition site. Good for travellers going or coming to or from the airport but not recommended for couples that wants a romantic stay

Not a pretty place, the building looks ugly from the outside, but it is practical and well located. It is a simple place, the kitchen is well equipped. We stayed with our two teenagers, very nearby for car rental and blue lagoon.

Staying one night arriving late in Keflavik is OK, nothing more. Rundown from the outside, but still acceptable in the inside. At least, WiFi is good, kitchen usable. Do not expect too much if you are looking for a super tidy place.

It's only good attribute is the proximity to the airport. Everything else, is terrible. Bathrooms are in very bad condition and filthy. The place smelled weird and the room was creepy.Very old mattress, beat up furniture and walls. Do not book here if you can help it.

Rooms are inside a warehouse in an industrial zone behind a scrapyard. The place needs a deep clean. Clotted shower, moisture on the shower curtain, stained linens, broken blinds everyone can see inside the bedroom from the road. I would not recommend even for one short night before your flight. Overpriced for what it is.

Very happy with the hostel. Comfiest hostel beds I have ever slept in and the wifi was really nice. Plus, there are lots of kitchens and information on local food, transport, and things to do. Was also very well priced! Would stay again.
