Ruined our Saturday night. We called and asked if we could reserve a spot outside, which they assured us was no problem. When we arrived on time we were told they didn’t have a table for us. It was very hard to find another place to have dinner as most places were full on a Saturday night. On top of the fact that they didn’t keep the table we reserved, they were very rude and unapologetic about it.

We had a wonderful meal. The hospitality was warm and useful. We recommend the place 👌

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews... The owner is super friendly and the price is quite cheap for Baden baden. However, the food was okay but not exceptional, and there were some insects ( like cockcroachs...)on the wall next to the tables that we were sitting.😵

Looking for good Italian food in Baden-Baden? Go to La Gondola! Stefano and his team are excellent all the way around. Food is great; Service is attentive, relaxed and helpful and the atmosphere (inside and out) is awesome. These guys work hard and love what they do and it shows!

This was a really nice, cozy and tasty experience. The staff is really friendly and adds a very personal touch to the service, and the food is great! We liked the snail appetizer so much we orderd another serving after we were done with our main dishes.

Wanted to have some Italian food and some wine after several days visiting Germany. La Gondola was well rated, and this place did not disappoint. We chose pizza, a bottle of wine, and finished with tiramisu. Saw several pasta dishes brought to tables that made us think about ordering that next time. The host and waiter were wonderful. This is a must go when in Baden-Baden.

Atmosphere and cost performance is very good. You can eat pizza under 15 euro. Tiramisu was nice with espresso.

I thought we had a good Italian restaurant at home but we just found a better one 😉👍 Oh dear, we booked again for 6pm and arrived on time to be offered a table on the terrace. My wife when booking declined the terrace and said she preferred inside. I am disabled and the number of steep steps are not possible for me. So with regret I am reducing me 5 STARS across the board to the minimum.

Authentic, fresh and piping hot Italian food. My partner and I enjoy finding good food that does not break the bank! We came across this restaurant from Google searches and also a recommendation from our Airbnb host. He told us this is the best Italian restaurant in town! The open at 6pm and we arrived around 6:20 pm, and the restaurant was very busy! We didn’t make a reservation but would advise that you do as many tables were reserved. And as soon as we leave, our table was occupied by other guests. The interior gives you a vibe that you are on a ship. The team works efficiently and greets you with warmth. It was a lovely experience. We ordered: - pizza speciale - carbonara - wheat beer - Radler The bill came to just over €30 and the portion size was generous. Would definitely visit again :)

The food was more than delicious, real authentic Italian food. I came two days ago a bit late but unfortunately they were closing, but it's the way Alberto apologized made me want to come back. Very friendly staff, they greet you with a smile and treat you like family. Plus, the service was swift and fast. You must also try the tiramisu! I Would definitely revisit again.

Absolutely incredible - some of the best Italian food we've had including spending time in Italy. Relaxed atmosphere and great Italian personalities from the wait staff. I would come back to baden baden just for this.

We were in the area for two days, we went both nights since the food is good atmosphere is great the tables are on the street steps which gives an amazing atmosphere, staff are great very attentive and welcoming, the owner is super nice as well we got both welcome drinks and after food drinks on house. If you live in baden baden your lucky to have this restaurant in your town, and if your visiting you should definitely go there re and try it.

We had an excellent dinner. Service was friendly, warm and prompt. Pasta was freshly made and gnocchi was excellent. Lasagna was classic and delicious. We ate there twice.

We had lunch in this Italian restaurant, where I ate risotto with seafood. It was really delicious! Also my other friends were enjoying their dishes to the fullest. The service was awesome, the atmosphere was rustic and comfortable. We will visit this place again when we are in Baden-Baden!

Nice little Italian restaurant. Efficient and fast service out of the kitchen. Made reservations and it was a good move. Cozy place was packed from the time we arrived for dinner and departed after nine. The menu is large enough for a diverse crowd but not overwhelming. We had the rucola salad, minestrone, pork medallions and tortellini. Everything was pretty good.

The most delicious salad, Bolognese and gnocchi meal with fantastic atmosphere and really lovely staff. I would make a detour to Baden Baden If I was in the area to come back for the complimentary (delicious) bread

True Italian dining experience in Baden-Baden in all aspects. Very authentic restaurant with excellent food quality (we tried pasta, snails, veal and squid - everything was perfect) and friendly staff. The place is not very touristic and seemingly very popular among locals (the owner knew most of the guests when we were there), which is another big advantage in my view given that it is just a 10-minute walk from the central part of the city. Come open-minded and be ready for some pranks from the staff if you are a tourist!
