Huge disappointment. We arrive in the afternoon around 3pm and the staff was already done with some burning. The smoke doesn’t go away even until the next morning (1st pic when check in, 3rd pic was next morning). So basically when we were there (summore with two young kids), we are inhaling SMOKE all the time and also in our tent. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED. We had to leave once we wake up in the morning around 8-9am, coz we had enough of smoke already. I booked before someone left the latest review regarding the pond, animals etc. I Screenshot the comment and checked with the owner to see any improvement on it because my son is water lover! The owner tried to convince us so we came in with doubts. Obviously, he was just saying for the sake of saying, the owner is NEVER THERE. (But he got a really kind and helpful staff who is so busy with work 👍🏻) So I don’t think he actually know what is going on. The water play pond is full with either algae or moss (and i saw little fish and shrimp) so once I stepped inside, the algae/moss was stirred and definitely not pleasant 🤦🏻‍♀️ They left with two dogs, two tortoises, chickens, two guinea pigs, one hamster and many dirty fish ponds. One star for the nice kampung feel, one star for the helpful staff. However, this place is absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED.

This homestay need to improve their cleanliness and maintenance. Facilities like ping pong table is old, animals are not as many as they mentioned. There are lots of bugs in the room. The common dining area is dusty and breakfast is bad as there are limited choices and eggs are quite raw. The pool is dirty with full of moss. Me and my family are not satisfied with the service and the place. Hopefully the owner could upgrade the facilities and the cleanliness.

Cleanliness really need to be improve. Bugs bite after overnight at shalet. No maintenance however a lot of facilities n tools or toys.

Outside environment is good. Kids enjoy it. Room is very small and no desk, no TV, no wifi. Not very clean. Pricey. Food is not bad but again a bit pricey.
