Very beautiful place but don't dare to swim in dam because there are so many cases of death due to swim happened here. Just go there for picnic not for swim. Also jungle is so heavy don't try to go in there also.

A must visit place. Far away yet so near from Mumbai. 3rd stop adter Virar called Kelve Road is the stop to get down by local train. We left from Andheri at 5.47 am and reached Kelve Rd at 6.58am. Took a rickshaw which takes it to a spot(Kelve Dam) in 12 mts from where one needs to trek through forest filled with lush green trees, water streams, and all natural ellements in abundance to reach this beautiful waterfall.

Quiet place. Good natural setting. Food availability is a problem due to remoteness of the place. Make sure you carry sufficient food.
