I only give two stars because the manager of this place is nice and he listened to my feedback. Also they are really trying to make a nice path and clean it, plant trees etc. going to the waterfall. It is also a community place so maybe one day this will become a really nice place (many of the negative things I say below have nothing to do with the place but generally cleanliness of water, waste management etc.). There is also a very nice Cafe where you can jump in the pool shower and have nice food and hang out in a hammock after so that's good. Finally if you want to go and have sun under the waterfall you probably need to go in the morning as afternoon it's dark there. The waterfall is nice but the water is murky and brown, although I suspect that this is always the case in Bali or even Indonesia so it just has to be expected I guess and the people here can definitely do nothing about it. The place is an ancient quarry (very bad for the environment) and the waterfall arose from that. But at least they are trying to valorize that with local artists carving into the stone so I guess they are trying their best. The one thing however is that I am always happy to pay to contribute to community work (20K), but I am not Ok that then plastic is everywhere along the river. I know it's not easy to clean up but I provided that as main feedback that they should clean more and also put signs everywhere that people should collect their rubbish and respect nature. Finally the waterfall could be clean but I don't really trust the cleanliness of rivers here (due also to bad experiences) and you have to go through the river to get to the waterfall. So I didn't.

Hidden gem away from all the tourists! 🌸This fulfilled my jungle waterfall dreams. 💓Having went to a crazy busy waterfall that was over crowded and left me disappointed, this was a joyful find while out cycling around the rice fields. I loved the physical challenge of getting there. If you are physically challenged, the steps are steep and the metal railing is questionable so I would only recommend for the physically fit.

A good waterfalls with such a unique surroundings. If you drive a car, there's a spacious carpark for 3-4 cars but the way to get there is a bit challenging for some. Around the carpark, there's cafe and some warungs. From there, you just need to walk about 5 mins to get to the stairs and climb down. But be really careful because the stairs are quite steep. Especially when they're wet. There are some rocks carved around the falls. To get to the waterfalls, you need to cross the river. Please pick a good day to come here because if it was raining a day after then the stream could be hard to cross. Crossing can be difficult for some, but there's a guide rope which you can hang your life to it. How ever, just pray before you cross so you don't meet an anaconda swimming around or a lost crocodile. Other than that, have fun!

Finally a waterfall that is not crowded with people. There is plenty of room for rest and enjoyment of nature. Swallows flying back and forth. The light breeze through the waterfall - just enjoy. Would recommend to everyone. Swimming is possible. Avoid the standard tourist waterfalls that are just crowded.

The location of this waterfall is not too far from Tegenungan Waterfall. Entry fee is around 20K per person.

Easy access with beautiful waterfall. The entry ticket is only Idr10K, you pay it in the entrance gate by putting it to the money box prepared by the local people. It's better to park your bike right next to the entrance gate, to avoid additional park fee from random people. To get better water quality, the best is to come earlier.

Breathtaking! $2 AUD entry. U need to cross the river and rapids. Lots of narrow steep stairs and a bit slippery. Not suitable for kids or less fit ppl

The waterfall itself seems to be artificially made, they just cut a hole in the rock and maybe even dragged a pipe with a pump from above, in front of the waterfall is a beautiful river and beautiful rocks, I liked it.

Would recommend to come early in the morning, even around 9/10am, that way there won't be many people at all and you can enjoy the water fall fully. Generally there aren't too many people, and would highly recommend preparing to swim. Entrance was 20k

A beautiful place the waterfall is down a small path that takes you through beautiful nature. The family is taking very well care of the path it's very clean, no garbage any where. There are stairs with a metal rail that lead all the way down to a river and the waterfall, it's possible to cross the river holding onto a rope, so bring your Swimwear. You pay 20 k to visit.

Amazing waterfall which is not crowded at all, we even had it to ourselves at one point. Entrance fee: 20IDR. You have to go down quite steep steps and through the river to get to the waterfall, but really worth it!

To be honest the 5km drive (about 25min) wasn’t super worth it from ubud center. The waterfall is very meh, and the water surrounding it is not that clean. It still deserves 3 stars because you can still get a nice photo, and there are awesome looking rock sculptures there. The locals charge you 20k to walk down there. No biggie

Really lovely! Not too busy and the folks that were there were smiley and respectful. Only accessible via bike then a suuuuuper steep walk down but worth it. Think it was 10k pp to enter (cash). Not a touristy spot. Really beautiful waterfall and stone carvings.

A high waterfall with icy water. What you need for hot weather! The entrance to the territory costs 20 thousand IDR per person. There are practically no people. The river is very small, so it won’t be problematic to swim in it. But there is a natural canyon that resembles a Jacuzzi, I advise you to visit!

I was told by one of the local landowners that the waterfall and surrounds have been newly cleared/restored/carved over the past 3-4 years. It's an epic climb down (and scary if you suffer from vertigo like me!). Use the blue rope to edge your way across the river to the fall... and then go snap-happy! Entrance fee now 20K. PS: Apparently you can walk upstream to another fall, which you can see evidence of if you look from the banks...

WOW! what a place! beyond your imagination magical place. i went early morning around 8–9 AM and not a single person there. it’s maintained, clean, perfect for meditation. might be crowded during day time, but for a morning walk, it’s just ideal. waterfall is very nice, but the sculptures… 20k IDR for entrance for them keeping it nice and clean 🪷

Great waterfall for people who love nature.. steep stairs to going down and up, challenging for elderly, make sure its not rainy season otherwise the river might high in tide

i cant remember if we paid 20k or 15k. steep stairs down and some unpaved road. the way down to the fall was fun but the "waterfall" itself was a disappointment compared to some others around the area. it's one line of water falling down some man cut stone wall (visited during dry season, maybe that's why). water is murky and very questionable to swim in, alot of big rocks underneath that you cant see. slippery rocks. there's some cafe/warung at the entrance that looks decent though.

Zero crowd just one family and I. Evening though the water was not strong when I went as there were not much rainfall, the serene sound matched with no tourist murmurs I got to refresh my mind. I sat on a rock, watched the clear waters and cooled my toes. (current was still rapid for a swim!) I thought it was free but 20k IDR for a relax was well worth it.

👍👍 Definitely recommend visiting this waterfall. To get there you must pin this location (parking area) rather than the waterfall itself. We did the wrong move and it took us another 17 min to get there. They charge you more Parkir than usual but it’s worthwhile.
