    Although the adoption & service experience was great, I come to find out how underweight and underfed my puppy was when I had his first Vet visit within the first 4 days of having him. I was also told he is anemic & the food from Petland they were feeding him was also not the best. I remember hearing the ladies in the back of the kennel screaming at the dogs to shut up. That was alarming but I was happy I was taking him home with me. I don't think these people treat their dogs properly. Please reconsider.

    I do want to add an update. A year ago my partner and I welcomed Gizmo from Petland in Kendall to our family. I can’t say enough good things about the way we were treated by everyone there and how much we appreciated their patience and time answering all of our questions and explaining the financial options we were offered. We wanted to feel comfortable with where our new pup came from and how he was treated, etc. and Petland made us feel good about our decision to go there. They had a binder on each dog we inquired about, filled with medical and breeder information. Not to mention Gizmo has brought us so much joy since we brought him home and we can’t thank Petland enough for bringing him into our lives. I do want to suggest one thing - when you’re checking out and receiving paperwork, etc., you’re recommended to go to Pou Veterinary Group by the staff when you get a pet at Petland. My advice - do not make the same mistake I did and go there no matter how good the vet’s “deal” sounds - once you get to the vet you realize it’s all a scam! You don’t really save any money, they are wildly expensive, sell you treatments and products you don’t need or could find online for 90% off their costs, and you may end up with a $1,500 bill because your dog has diarrhea, like I did. Do your research before taking your beloved new family member to this recommended veterinarian. I am a bit disappointed that Petland chooses to do business with them and recommends them to their clients. Other than this, I highly recommend checking out Petland for your new pet as my experience with them was wonderful.

    There is a reason why I’m not giving a 5 star rating and I’ll explain. My wife had been looking at a Goldendoodle they had named candy for a few weeks so we booked an appointment. Ronald met us yesterday morning for the appointment and he showed us Candy and two other dogs. We left and though about it and late at night we decided to purchase Candy who is a 13 week Red Goldendoodle. The price was HIGH so I contacted Ronald, told him we wanted Candy but needed a better price. He was NOT at work and still contacted the Store Manager and gave us a good price. Here is why they don’t get 5 stars. When we met in the morning the price of Candy included the Chip they place on the Dog, Cradle and a few extras. When we went to buy Candy, we paid $1,000USD extra for all the things they said in the morning that was included with the purchase. Not Ronald’s problem, maybe ours. But if things are included for the price, they should be! We are happy that we brought Candy to her mew house but as a Sales person that I am, if the price includes everything then, we should not pay for any extras, or tell us, and we choose not to buy all the extra stuff!

    We had the BEST experience yesterday at Petland (Kendall location). The staff were all so kind and helpful. They all greeted us as soon as we came in.The way they interacted with all the pets was so amazing. My daughter and I were there to get a pug puppy that we saw on their website.Thanks to Valerie and her wonderful manager going above and beyond , we left with our baby boy pug! We LOVE him! Thank you so much Petland. I recommend anyone who wants a pet to visit them. We are new puppy owners and the staff made our first experience less stressful by answering all our questions and guiding us, making the process simple and giving us all the information we needed to feel confident as new owners. THANK YOU, Petland!!

    Had an amazing experience at PetLand in Town & Country and I felt welcomed from start to finish. The pets looked to be healthy and energetic, and the staff was very attentive with them, as well as customers. Thank you to those who helped me while in search for a potential furry friend!

    The store was clean and the dogs were adorable, the associate that helped me was Isabella and she was amazing explained everything to me so simply. She helped me find the newest member of my family. She made sure I knew everything and had everything I needed to make sure I was ready for my puppy.

    I got my golden doodle here on Monday. Had to go my own vet because the ones they offer don’t have openings till next week and my poor Charlie hasn’t been eating, mostly wants to sleep and barely plays. We found out this morning that he has Anemia and an intestinal infection which was never mentioned in the papers given to me by Petland. We spent $1200 for the testing and meds needed. Charlie is home still and in the same condition. This was our first experience with Petland and i have to admit, that we will never go back there again. I don’t understand how something like this could’ve not been noticed but their employees. How did they not draw blood work ? How did they not notice that he wasn’t eating? They were very quick to sell me a large bag of food, but didn’t even realize that he wasn’t taking it in. It’s very sad to know that they have dogs here with these conditions and they sell them to families who are looking for a life time companion and a pet to make their home complete. They need to have better protocols in place before selling dogs. Especially when they sells dogs for $6000.

    I've had my French Bulldog for almost 2 years, purchased from Petland. Today he passed away, when I called to see what I can do I was told to have a necropsy performed and to send in results, no other information given, all veterinarian offices were closed so I asked "what do I do with the body until a veterinarian opens that can do the necropsy", their response "sorry for your lose but we don't have any information for you". I then called their "pet care line", and was told "perform the necropsy is step one in the warranty process" but noone could tell me where to go to get the necropsy done. After searching for hours I found a place that charges $2000 for a necropsy, called "pet care line" again and was told "sir we don't cover the necropsy you'd have to pay that yourself". I asked "after the necropsy what happens", they responded "we review the details of the necropsy, your veterinarian results from the dog's appointments, and ensure you adhered to the *puppy for life guarantee* and then make a final decision". This place doesn't deserve your money, shop somewhere else!!!!

    The staff (especially Ronald) were incredible! Very informative about our pup, her upbringing, her breed, and how to care for her when we introduced her to her new home. We told Ronald what we wanted and not only did he help us but he went above & beyond to help her find her way into our hearts and her forever home.

    Amy was amazing at Petland Kendall. She awarded us play time with both brother and sister Cane Corsos. She was patient and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Amy is an asset to this company. She has an amazing attitude and beautiful smile. Amy is knowledgeable and loves animals. Employees like her make it pleasurable for customers to revisit this store.

    We visited pet land in Kendall FL. The store was beautiful and clean. The puppies seemed to be in good health and cages were immaculate! We were helped by Damien, he was amazing! No high pressure sales he was kind and answered all our questions! Super helpful! The staff at that store was fun to be around and super sweet! I definitely recommend this store if you’re looking for your next furbaby!

    Petland Kendall representatives were very helpful in assisting us in adopting our puppy. They prioritized finding the right home for each puppy and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted with her. They provided vaccine records and she is a healthy thriving puppy. However, the reason we are leaving a 1 star review is due to the obstacles we have faced financing with the Petland Credit Card. The store representative told us our card will be mailed within 2 weeks and we will be able to make a payment once we receive it since the online portal requires an account number to sign in. After 2 weeks we did not receive anything. I received an email stating the payment is due 12/07. The Petland Credit Card Customer Service Representative said our unit number was not in the system and they would send us a new card within 7-10 business days. We explained we did not want to incur a late fee or miss a payment and requested either our account number over the phone or to make a payment with a credit card over the phone. The customer service representative REFUSED to give me the credit card account number AFTER verifying my identity and said I can only make a payment over the phone with my checking account information or a debit card. Considering I am not trusted to be provided my account information to make a payment…I would not provide my personal account information over the phone to a stranger. The customer service representative said we could contact Pet Care Solutions team through Petland Kendall and make a credit card payment over the phone. He did “promise” he would make a note on our statement to waive the late fee. I contacted Petland Kendall and informed them of what was happening and the store representative also advised the Pet Care Solutions team would assist with making a payment. After several phone calls, voicemails, and a written claim over the course of several days. The PetCare Solutions Team emailed me stating they would not be able to assist since payment is with a 3rd party and they do not have access to their system. The Pet Care Solutions team did not provide any contact information for the 3rd party. I have never had an issue with making a payment on any line of credit and been denied my account information to make a payment. At this point, it seems like our only option is to miss our payment, incur a late fee and interest since no representative is assisting or taking responsibility for our address being incorrect after we typed it 3 times in the store, verified it, and it is on our ID’s to PAY OFF our balance. To anyone needing financing to get your puppy, I would recommend you find your own financing options and stay away from Petland financing.

    Thank you to Amy and Santi for helping me make the decision of bringing our new fur baby home so easy. We chose and Merle Mini Schnauzer. This was such an easy process thanks to them. We felt like family and are so excited to introduce our new fur baby to our other fur babies at home. Welcome Home Kylie!!! 🐾

    I have been a loyal customer for the past year. Recently I changed the food flavour same brand just different flavour and my dog had the worst reaction to the food. Stool had blood in it. The vet confirmed it was the food. I can back within 2 weeks of purchase and explained that I wanted to exchange for some reason this bag gave my dog diarreah. They could care less of the circumstance and would have to waste another $80 in less than 2 weeks for food I bought from this store. Only pet store that won’t give you store credit or exchange in this type of circumstance. I will definitely not be returning and putting in a formal complaint to BBB and FDA.

    Complete rip off. 7k for a dachshund!? Then they won’t tell you prices on the site… the make you go in. Then you get there and ask for the price and they too make you wait. Apparently they have a super computer in the back whose algorithm dictates the price. Go to a breeder cheaper and at least you get to see the parents. With that said the girl that helped me was knowledgeable and a very good sales person.

    Liked that they had the food I was looking for. Did not particularly care for the EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC so that I needed to nearly yell at the cashier who was less than 3 feet from me. Also do not care for their extreme ridiculous prices of pets in their "puppy and kitty mill" settings. Very sad.

    Had a great time coming in and seeing all the pups! Amy was extremely kind and helpful! She made sure we saw all the pups we wanted and knew all the details necessary to take one home. Overall a great time!

    My boyfriend and I are extremely satisfied with our experience at Petland! Damian and the Manager went above and beyond for us. They gave us so much information. Answered all of the questions we had with the best of their knowledge. Every dog in there was super cute and looked well taken care of. The price was way over our budget but you can’t put a price tag on an amazing puppy like the one we got! We went home with our dream dog.

    I came here 5/22/22 & spoke with the assistant manager Valentina, beautiful beautiful lady! I do not do reviews, but Valentina & her manager touched my heart to do this for them! Hopefully they read this someday (they have no clue I’m writing about them). I didn’t know she was manager at first but after having a nice long conversation with her, seeing her beautiful personality of course I should’ve guessed that she was assistant manager! Super sweet, funny animal-loving young lady. My partner & I wanted to leave with the puppy, Valentina & her manager convinced us with all the options they had to offer! Only reason we didn’t leave with the pup was the debt my partner & I are in & wanted to be a little less debt free before adopting the cutest puppies they had! If that wasn’t the issue we would’ve walked away with the pup but nevertheless, we walked away with such a terrific encountering of those two beautiful managers we had the chance to speak to! It was our pleasure having to have them speak to us about all the steps. I would 100% come back & have them as the two people as my (doggie) sales person.
