We had breakfast in this restaurant while returning from Ooty. Though they had less options for breakfast, mostly they had south Indian breakfast. I tried masala dosa and it was amazing, one of the best I had. Plenty of space for parking and seating.

I stopped by Halli Mane on the outskirts of Mysore, near Srirangapatna, for a refreshing break. We ordered a variety of dishes including pongal, butter masala dosa, onion dosa, and idly with sambar. The flavors truly captured the essence of the local cuisine, making it a delightful experience.

So, visited this place in the afternoon for lunch. The place was really amazing & looks well. (⭐out of 5) Taste- ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Presentation- ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Ambience-⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Recommended-⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ So, the taste of food was really great. Also, I tried the South thali which was well made. And also, the roti & sev bhaji sabzi, which was really tasty. And, the ice cream they served was also delicious. You can visit this place either with your friends or family. The place is good to have some lunch & dinner.

Do yourself a favour and stay far away from this terrible restaurant! Our family of 8 went here for lunch on our way to Mysuru and every single one of us, including my young nephew and niece, got a severe bout of food poisioning. I dine out a fair bit but never in my life had I seen a case of food poisoning as severe as this. This restaurant ought to be shutdown for their utter lack of hygiene. Please stay away from here and do your body a huge favor. It's absolutely not worth the suffering you may have to go through if you dine here. You have been warned!

To stop here .. is one of the better options with so many cropping up now and then before one hits the expressway.. Ample parking space.. The place is spacious.. and loved the lofty ceiling.. ample tables of 6 sitters mostly.. neat and clean.. Staff are courteous and there when you need them. Good hotel in the middle of nowhere. Food is delicious for breakfast but the serving is very poor and needs to be improved a lot. Overall had an OK experience but can be visited with families and friends. The hotel is situated on the way to Mysore. This is a place where you can get good Karnataka cuisine. Good place to hang out with family and friends.

On 17 th jan 2021 visited this place for breakfast...all 6 people fell ill with food poisoning and had severe stomach body ache..pls don't have anything from this place...tried to contact the restaurant the mobile number given is nonoperational.

Visited for lunch Oct 4th 2022. Food is ok ok. But worst customer service and staff behavior. Staffs are least bothered to take orders or repeats. Once they take your order they won't look at you or come to your table. Very rude attitude as well. Secondly me and my spouse ordered two south Indian meals. My wife fed little white rice and curd from the plate to my 4 year old daughter. Staff was very prompt to come and say no sharing madam with my 4 year old daughter. How pathetic they are!. So they want me to order one full meals worth 160rs for my 4 year old daughter who will hardly have two table spoon of rice. Grow up you guys!. There are much better places near the same location. Never planned to visit this greedy place.

We went to Sudips hotel many times but now a days... We disappointed about quality of food and service. Hording a lot of advertiseboards to attract the tourists and not worth the quality of food. Not worth and no value to the money they are charging. Hotel ambience was maintaining bit good. Feed up with the hotel serve process and order taking and quality of food. Feel like teast less and nowadays not worth to eat heare.

Good option for a quick stop and refreshments. Food quality is Ok. Convenient for Madikeri / Puttur / Mangalooru commuters - to have a break before taking the Expressway highway.. South Indian Thali - with Poori, Anna, Saaru (Rasam), Sambar, Mosaru & Majjige. North Indian Thali - Roti, 2 curries, 2 Rice items + Sweet & Ice Cream Lots of South, North Indian & Chinese options available.

An average place to dine in when you run out of options on the express way. We only had meals for a late lunch. While price seemed less, the quantity served was less too. Though the side dishes to meals were something different to us, than what we usually get as part of meals at other places. Not sure if the place is built in a manner to feel rustic but it definitely feels gloomy. Cleanliness of the surroundings is secondary to them. Used plates are left on adjacent tables for long. Waiters & watchman linger around for tips when they have provided no outstanding service than what they are supposed to do. Washrooms are just okay. At the counter we have a frowning cashier (or owner). Definitely not worth a second visit for me.

When the restaurant initially launched a few years ago, it was known for serving high-quality vegetarian dishes and providing excellent service. However, fast forward to the present, and the quality of the food has significantly declined, reaching rock bottom standards. Regrettably, it has evolved into a place no longer suitable for enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner due to the degradation in both food quality and overall dining experience.

One of my worst experiences at a restaurant, wife and me waited 20 mins and asked 4-5 people from the crew to take our order, but none of them even acknowledged our presence. And the place was not even full. I think this place is a rip-off trying to make a quick buck using a well known restaurant brand. I would rather go hungry than step into this place ever again.

Decent place to get food on the road. Though i found the food to be too spicy for my liking, also these folks ran out of water the day I happened to visit 😶 they really didn't care. On the road, easy to spot, has parking for about 10 cars, washroom reasonably clean. Accepts payment by cash, card. Food cuisine is limited to Indian and Chinese.

Awesome restaurant to have your perfect lunch. Their South Indian meals impressed us with otthu shavige, kaayi obbattu and mudde oota. Mouth smacking food. The price is also very much Affordable. We ordered 3 south indian meals. Mushroom fried rice, , lemon soda and maddur vada cost only 840 which is worth it I say. Highly recommended when your are travelling back from mysore.

Taste wise it's good, apart from that the rest are not that great!! There are a lot of options around the locality and on the same highway too. When you have limited time it is not recommended. There is no understanding or co-ordination or good bonding among the staff and servicing team. It's pretty crowded, management is unable to maintain it. Parking and washroom facilities are good.

Our expectations were very high but when we got our food we were very disappointed. The fried rice was just half cooked rice and chilie powder. They got our order wrong when we bought a fruit salad and ice cream and specially asked for vanilla ice cream but we were given strawberry ice cream, the fruit salad was just milk and apple. The lime juice was just sugar and water. They didn't make the Chinese food very well and I wouldn't order any of it if I came here again.

Food was average. Price was affordable. I had the masala dosa but it took a lot of time to prepare. My father had the idli it was quite big and filling. The dosa however was not to my liking. It was uneven. Thicker at the ends and somewhat thinner in the middle. But some parts in the middle was also thick and some were thin. Didn't taste bad but I would have appreciated it to be even throughout. The sambar and chutney were also average.

The atmosphere was pleasing and calm. We tried some of the fast-moving dishes for faster service... But the service seems to be very slow right from taking the order to delivering it to the table. We waited roughly for 15-20 mins for the South Indian Meals. Holige & Shavige were given only after 15mins, the taste was good. The meals had good amount of all the dishes and the taste overall likeable! ~ The fried rice with the French fries took a good shot for us.. despite the rice being a little undercooked. Taste was good 👍 Major Drawback : Rice was totally undercooked in all the dishes even the fried rice. Maybe it was the time we went , because it was around 2 30 to 3. I suggest to visit it one time for their range of dishes and few of their signature ones. But not to make it an all-time stop.

Near famous KSTDC Hotel Mayura River view restaurant is this "you blink and miss" restaurant. It's good for a quick meal. The place has been kept neat and clean. The service is prompt and courteous. The price too is decent and will not pinch your pocket. Overall a good place for a quick bite.

Spent 170 rs for special thali , the food they served is half boiled bendi fry with some pappu and some half boiled spinach kind of Rasam and curd , mentioned unlimited rice but after consuming the quantity of rice no waiter will care about further service as well there is only 2 waiters in that big restaurant to take and serve the food, unfortunately we consumed small quantity of rice with pappu and curd and paid with bad mind and came back for our further raid. Finally I can say plz spend the 170rs in good restaurant not this kind of name "halli mane " gimmic hotels.food is totally pathetic

They even don't know how to serve - in Karnataka first water then salt then pickle ... They don't serve salt picked stall !!! Today we had two South Indian Meals - everything was cold including rasam ,May be old food items prepared long back or days back or so ... No payasa , even holige was rubbery and cold. No kusambari salad . Every normal hotel in Karnataka includes payasa, kusmbari salad , butter milk..Etc They gave sambar which has only capsicum and palya also mostly capsicum. Rice quality is poor. They don't have any authentic heritage village food . Simply name is Halli Mane. They are spoiling the name of the state with only title but nothing good authentic food Also cost is very high which doesn't match with quality, number of items and not at all authentic, very very bad service with NO Ethics. Better not step inside halli mane . There are many other hotels in Mysuru with authentic good quality and number of items ( we get 18 items - just for Rs 60) We are bluffed with Rs 150 per meal in Halli mane. Not sure if this is a resemblance of the Halli Mane that’s in Malleshwaram, Bangalore. But the food was average. They have South Indian meal with rice served N amount of time. North Indian food with limited Roti and Curries. But the course served on table wasn’t bad either. They’d start with a special South Indian dish. We were served Shavige with Hurali Sagu that tasted good. Moving on to Obbattu. Later came thali with Poori and rice. Certainly worth a try. We had ordered Baby Corn Pepper dry and Gobi Chilli. None worth tasting. The entire place is bit huge, tidy and was kept clean.

Our experience at Halli Mane was very good. We had breakfast here on two separate occasions and each time the food was good. We tried the idli, the benne masala dosa, the Kesari bath, coffee and tea. The Kesari bath is a must try and so is the masala dosa. The service was good. They have ample parking and toilet facilities.

I stopped by seeing name, wrost experience. We ordered South India meals but no tatse at all no slat Ntg in it. They made sambar with capcicum whcih wrost then anything totally dispointed. Rice for one spoon it self our stomach will feel full because they added so much soda in it.

Food is tasty. But, please be aware while paying your bill. Menu shows different price and when you get the bill is different. I ordered 4 garlic naan which costs Rs.57 each in menu card. I got the bill of Rs.77 each when asked waiter argues its old menu.
