It's not much going on here, especially for the kids. It's just a park and it might be good if you wanted to hike and bike, but not much going on otherwise. Park has a $7 entry fee, a separate fishing fee, and a boating fee. It's a short drive, the bathrooms were horrible. Luckily they had construction portapotti, and the kids park has some slides, swings, a bridge and not much else. Can't swim and the waters edge is really jagged

Amazing place to relax and have a walk. The reservoir is full water which looks amazing. The park has good camping spots and they are not usually totally occupied. The entrance is 7$.

My pastor & I visited on a mid-Monday morning πŸŒ„ no attendant @ the parking entrance (only on weekends). It was lovely with the water 'glistening.' We were able to make a "reservation" easily for a future Saturday, just $90 for the picnic grounds. The staff was pleasant & helpful, simple process. Beautiful place for hanging out, fishing, etc. $7 to park your car. Bring your family & friends!

My first time there. They have Boat rentals and 1 day fishing passes plus the shop to buy most things needed. We had a company party there for 2 days. Everyone had a great time. They had a cleaning table for fisherman. A playground for the little ones. Boat docks around the lake to dock and go explore if you want. Pretty cool place

Here’s a review to consider when you are thinking of choosing this place to hold a special celebration or occasion. My wife and I reserved Gazebo #2 for June 3 and I received a call from The woman at the front desk named Marcie/Marcia regarding the reservation. She stated an Employee had reserved in advance since April 25. We were not informed at the time while we were at the reservoir. She abruptly hung up on me during the phone call with no remorse. Marcie/Marcia demonstrated unconceivable social etiquette. She has the β€œmy way or the highway” demeanor. She will speak over you and β€œbrush off” what you have to say. When people say he/she/they are a value asset to the company. Marcie/Marcia does not fit that bill to represent a company. Everything else is nice and beautiful at the reservoir except Marcia/Marcie β€œThe Lochness Monster”

Beautiful place to have a picnic or renting a pontoon boat for $180 for 2 hours. You will need to pay for your parking as well. One can see lots of wild life around the reservoir like pelicans, lots of other birds, deers by the water. It's really a wonderful place to spend ypur couple of hours here. Highly recommended!

Nice local lake. Spend $6 for daily fishing permit and $8 to park but only areas to fish from shore after waiting in long line to get in the gate at the 6:30 opening were full of debris and weeds so hard to not get snagged. Pretty area, big parking lot, good store for necessities, and clean bathroom.

I love this lake. We did so many picnics there. Just be careful from white lady manager. She have very bad etiquette. She don’t want to give you option for speak. She is very rude.

Good place to relax, go fishing have a picnic.. We've seen geese, turkeys and even pelicans here. There is a play area for the kids too. Here are my dogs on leashes watching the people fishing off the pier.

Best fishing ever! From trophy sized Rainbow trout, Steelhead, Catfish and Large mouth bass. They also have row boats and motor boats rentals.

Close to most East Bay locations, San Pablo Reservoir makes a perfect spot to entertain with friends and family on a warm summer weekend. Rent a kayak to explore the hidden corners of the lake or a motor boat to catch catfish or lounge under a sunbrella canopy. Barbecue in the picnic area to finish off a perfect outing. $8 to enter the park but some of the boat rentals can be pricey.

Nice place to hang out with family, have bbq and do fishing. Depending on time of a year you can get lot's of trout. The best time for trout fishing imho Feb-May.

A beautiful park to kayak mostly in the morning when there is less wind. There were many beautiful birds flying around also. Kayak rental starts from $10 for the first hour and then $7 for each following hour.

Very nice and nicely kept, great views of the res. You can rent cheap kayaks for something like ten dollars. Grills and tables available and not too crowded during the week at least. A little pricey to enter per car ($7) but great for a hang out for a day.
