I recently went to club getway with work. I’m a nurse and I went on a field trip with a school to oversee the students medical needs. I have nothing negative to say about this facility. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The food is good and the buffet style service was very well organized! Even during an unexpected torrential downpour and wind at the dinner service, the staff never lost focus. I enjoyed the music as well under the big white tent. I did not see inside the cabins so I did not rate them. The staff work hard and they are polite and friendly and never once lost their temper with myself or the kids. I did have a few students get the usual bumps and bruises and I kept requesting bags of ice and the staff were more than happy to help me. I am planning to go back with my own children this summer. Great Job Staff!!

This place sucks. We tried complaining that our cabin was infested in rats and bugs. There was sand all over the floor and all over the beds. Nobody could sleep because the sand was everywhere. When we tried complaining the staff made the same excuse: “we’re in the mountains, what do you expect?” The owner of CG spit on my face and didn’t even apologize. And said that black bears would eat us. This place sucks. The food is alright and the staff are mad strict. The water locations were so dirty and had seaweed and fish in the designated area where we were supposed to swim safely. The hosts of the evening program forced us to squish together with other camps to the point where I felt sweat from someone else on me. Please do not waste your money here.

I went on a group trip to Club Getaway for a weekend and my entire group had a great time! Good food, nice accommodations, lots of activities, and good service. There were a lot of bugs but that's camp for you -- and none in the rooms which was obviously great. There are pretty good vegetarian options for food, though fewer at dinner -- breakfast and lunch is the star of the show by far; so many options!

Our kids love this place! Our school has been going to club getaway for more than 8 years and we love it. We've brought 100 to 150 kids each time never a problem. Staff is always kind, courteous and quick to assist in any and all of our needs. Counselors are energetic, patient and just good vibes all around. Had Millie this year she was great! Will be returning again next year!!!

The settings are rustic, but that's fine because you won't be spending much time in the room. The food is surprisingly pretty good, and they have pretty much unlimited entertainment all day if you like athletic activities and adrenaline activity. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

We did Club Getaway as summer camp for adults and it was amazing! The diverse staff were friendly, helpful, and fun. Shout out to Melissa, Zach, Hunter, Ken, and David for making our first experience so incredibly awesome! The campers were also diverse, which was relieving and welcomed. We made new friends and acquaintances from around the country and world. There are so many events and things to do. I recommend anyone who is interested in coming here, do it. We will definitely be coming again!

I had THE BEST time here. It is worth every penny and maybe even more. The staff, location, activities were all amazing!!!!! Solo shout out to the food because I wasn’t expecting much but it was honestly really really good! Not even for “camp” food but in general. So many selections and options for EVERY dietary restriction. The main emcee Bluto (loved getting to know you Jeff!) was incredible. I don’t know how he keeps up the energy all summer to do the job he does. The grounds were beautiful, the rest of the staff was so accommodating and friendly! Cabins comfortable, air conditioned and clean. The activities and schedule kept you going all day long in the best way possible. Long story short: I can’t say enough good things and can’t wait to go back!!! PS: it’s not just “twentysomethings ” here. Adults of every age came and everyone was just there to have a great weekend while getting to act like a kid again!!!

My husband and I stayed for the weekend with friends and had a blast! Some of the activities/equipment could use a little TLC, but otherwise great time all around. Pro tip, bring a lake floaty and beach chair for more comfort lake side.
