Friendly staff, amazing views & delicious food. There isn’t much you can complain about when visiting or staying at Potato Head. The view from the main pool rivals that of any other beach club in the area and it is a hotel pool. The staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel has a strong sustainability ethos which I assumed was just for show, but throughout the hotel you can see they try to live by it. My only complaint was that many of the hotel venues are only open 1 or 2 nights a week or if you are staying for 5-7 nights the options are limited outside of Friday and Saturday, but with so many options within 5 minutes of the hotel, we didn’t struggle with choice. Breakfast was my favourite meal, sitting by the pool, listening to the ocean was a great way to start the day.

Simply spectacular! I booked the potato head suite and was so glad I have chosen this over the oceanfront suite! The room was warm and cozy, and it tucked in the other building, away from the busier side of Potato Head main block. Although it is without a view (which I could do without), the amenities they provide (alcohol mixes, treats - biscuits, cookies, cakes and sweets) are all complimentary. Upon arrival, I am met with a dedicate crew who check me in personally and went through the process in detail, showing me the room and the premise. Very impressive and much appreciated! Yogi my dedicated assigned crew was very attentive and look after me extremely well taken care by Yogi.This is definitely one of the best hotel I have been - no wonder they are voted in Top 50 Best Hotels in the World! Remarkable and I can see why - well deserved accolade! 👍🏻👏

PURE PERFECTION! This resort was incredible - from the amenities, to the food, to the vibes, to the SPA, to the service. Truly, everyone that works at this resort is a rockstar and they aim to please. It is just such a unique and special place. Special shout out to Fish who made our stay incredibly comfortable and just is an all around amazing human being. The PHAT Tuesday training sessions with Johnny were so fun and energetic. And the trip would not have been complete without an energetic healing session with Kim, such a kind and beautiful soul. We cannot wait to go back!

Great staff, great view, easy access to the beach club. Super clean rooms, everything was new. The bed was one of the best ones I’ve ever had in a hotel. The food was good too. Only complaint was the WiFi at the pool day beds was a bit weak/not working most of the time. Could definitely improve that. We will be back again

Why is there not a 6 star rating for this place? We stayed here over the last week and to be honest, will not entertain staying anywhere else in future. Felt like royalty all week, was so well looked after. Food, coffee, cocktails on the rooftop was all such a vibe. We loved every second. Amazing gym and PT / boxing classes in the morning followed by poolside lounging and the occasional ocean dip. Rooftop bar for sunset and incredible selection of quality cocktails. Was a bit worried about the party vibe at the beach club but that’s all separate and didn’t hear a thing. Don’t hesitate on booking this place!! It’s nothing short of perfect.

We stayed at Potato-Head studios over the weekend as a couple and truly loved it. Welcome: The check in process was easy, you were welcomed by great staff and the hotel is impressive. We were offered an upgrade - which was a nice bonus! Room and Hotel: The room was a true 5* experience with lots of great subtle touches. The hotel itself feels it’s been taken from the future and the efforts made towards sustainability help you consider you choices once leave the hotel. Beachfront area/studios pool bar: This was the real highlight of the trip. All the staff are amazing, the food is incredible and drinks tasted great. All the staff made our stay great but Ina, Gus and Raymond truly went the extra mile to make our stay special - so much so that we returned to the pool area on the day of leaving and ended up staying longer than expected we intended. Potato-head is much more than a beach club and if I am ever lucky enough to return to Bali, I wil definitely stay here.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! First and foremost I need to give these 2 staff members a big shout out to ROBYN & ANDRE !! The best hospitality service I have received in Bali. Andre greeted us so warm and welcome and was super attentive to everything we needed. He gave us great conversations and took great photos for us - this guy deserves an award for outstanding customer service! Super friendly & good laughs. Robyn made THE BEST drinks, this guy was super awesome. He gave us great suggestions on drinks and even made us his own creation for us to try. WE LOVED IT. He made a fabulous dragon fruit cocktail - I honestly think this drink should be on the menu (it should be called “Robyn hood”) Again great conversation from Robyn and so attentive. Both these guys made the experience at potato head sunset bar truely the best experience one can receive. I recommend this sunset bar 10000% and ask for these two guys as they will make your evening unforgettable. Thank you again to both Adrian & Robyn for their service and we cannot wait to come back. These boys deserve gold stars!

I love the design and the concept of this hotel and most importantly this place is sustainable, everything u see in the room was recycled from the waste and they turned it into something beautiful. The service is top notch! I was surprised their staff remembered every guest name when we're waiting to be seated for breakfast and daybed for sunbathing. I had great experience during check out time, because that day was my partner birthday and our flight was at the evening they gave us extra time to checking out. The only downside of this hotel is they don't have enough storage for our luggage, but other than that is superb

Love love love my stay here! I've already recommended it to my friends who are looking to book a trip to Bali in the near future. That's how much I enjoyed my stay there. It's one of the best experiences I've had so far. From the moment I check in until I check out, there's nothing to complain about their service level. Top notch! It's more than just an accommodation, there's literally a few activities that you can take part in during your stay. I went for the cocktail class and trying to make my own cocktail was fun. The breakfast was awesome, it's not like the usual hotel breakfast and they even give you the choice of having it at the restaurant, sun bed area or in-room breakfast. Really thoughtful when you have a late night and doesn't want to go out of your room for breakfast. Moreover the room was soooo comfortable to stay in. Needless to say, the sunset is thumbs up and seeing it from the Sunset Park felt different from the beach club. The bag, water bottle and bracelet will remind me of the enjoyable stay there. I'm already thinking of the next trip there. I'm missing Bali more this time round because of the stay at Potato Head!

One of the best experiences when staying in Seminyak. Staff are attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you're enjoying the experience. Food was very tasty and creatively satisfying. Being so close to the beach club and central to great restaurants, this location provides variety for all age groups to enjoy. It's very health conscious place which is a benefit. I've just visited another 5-star establishment and it doesn't compare to what Potato Head had offered. I'm actually looking forward to revisiting in the future.

A wonderful experience from the moment we checked in right up to the morning we left. The suites are right next to the beach club which made it really convenient to stay late at the beach club. Gorgeous architecture and amazing hospitality - everyone was so warm and thoughtful and really made our stay very memorable. Will definitely come back here when I come back to Bali!

Booked two studios for my husband and I and one for our adult daughter after the accommodation we were in wasn’t as accessible as we’d hoped. We decided that we would splurge on our last 2 nights together and chose Potato Head Suites & Studios at morning coffee, booked on line and arrived at 1pm same day. I was completely blown away by the friendly and professional welcome we received. Straight away I knew we’d chosen the right hotel. The studios are small in square meters but they make up for it in the innovative and creative designs - built in ice bucket anyone? Cocktail mixers? And - the MOST comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on! Perhaps my only very small issue is that, as an older woman with a bad back, the seating for breakfast was not comfortable. Most are bench seats although we did find a table with chairs on the second morning. I think next time I might have to try the lounge seating near the pool - or perhaps staff could organise me a comfortable chair :)? Because I am returning! I have already booked 3 rooms for myself and colleagues for a conference in June! I know they will love it (especially if those proper chairs can be provided for breakfast!). Love to stay with my family here. Beautiful hotel right on the beach, spacious rooms with great views. Location is very strategic located in Seminyak. You can enjoy beautiful sunset from the pool, bar or beach. The sustainable concept is really cool! and we got free tumblr. Room is very spacious, comfortable, modern, and very clean. We loved sitting on our balcony listening to the crashing of the waves. Soundproofing was amazing. Tasty breakfast with great view. Kids friendly hotel. The extra bed which is sofa bed also fine. Many thanks to the entire team, we had a great time & vacation because of you. Top notch 👍🏼

I came to Potato head last year for work, we have whole resort to us. Was great, but you never can enjoy the stay completely when is a work event. We booked this year for exactly one year later. The weather and being more off season make this experience amazing. Hotel it’s in a great location in Seminyak right on the beach with few infinity pools. The food and service in the hotel it’s great. But frankly the person who make us want to stay here again it’s Fysh, hotel manager. Her persona, professionalism and charisma it’s just infectious. There is nothing imposible for her. She made both of our stay best they can be. Fysh it’s kind and straightforward, definitely guest at heart oriented. Highly recommend to stay here no matter the cost.

My fiancé and I visited Sunset Park for the 1st time and absolutely loved it! This bar was the perfect place to watch the sunset and have a few drinks. Wahyu provided great vibes and customer service making the experience more enjoyable for us both. Great guy and place! Would 100% recommend.

The Sunset Bar is a great spot to watch the sun set. The DJ has some vibes, and the house signature cocktails are delicious. Gusti is for sure the best server in town. Glad to sit in his area! Legend.

Visited the Sky Bar, at the top of the Potato Head Beach Club venue. This place is the perfect spot to visit around 5pm to take in the Sunset over the beach. Relaxing vibe, not overly busy (yet), and we received top customer service for our cocktails from Wahyu. Great guy!

We loved everything about this hotel and wished we stayed here longer. The only feedback for the rooms is that they need a little more light. We appreciated how sustainability was a huge focus. The staff was always lovely, spa was relaxing and the jamu was refreshing.

Hands down my favorite hotel. Loved it so much, I extended my stay by two days. My suite was chic, comfortable, so well thought out and perfectly equipped. Food was incredible. Wonderful pool, plus access to the beach club if you want something more social. The whole experience was amazing, but the best part was the staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Legit the best service I’ve ever had, especially my incredible concierge Dewi. I can’t wait to go back!

Not for us. The place is very beautiful and very architectural. As an architect, I appreciate it. But at the same price point and having gone from other hotels with bigger rooms, I find their room very tight. For example in the bathroom, there’s not much lavatory space to put things. There’s no well-lit vanity to dry your hair or do makeup. The floor is also dirty when we stayed, we cant go barefoot in the room. This hotel would do well if you love partying and love to stay in Potato Head Beach Club because of the perks when you are checked-in. But if you like the peaceful, very “close to nature” Bali, this is not for you.

We stayed here 3 nights and we had the most amazing time. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and the hotel look after guests with discounts on food and drinks. They also preference people staying at their accomodation when it comes to day beds at the beach club. The rooms were very clean and tidy and we even got upgraded. We would definitely stay again in the future as it was an overall amazing experience!

Mentally Im always there. Used to love the Beach Club, but the Hotel managed to beat it. Thoughtful design, very photogenic interiors and wooden materials makes it very cozy and home-like. And of course the beach club. As a hotel guest you have privilege there with the tables and service. The experience of Bali sunset magic vibe, Beach Club day drinking, funky music and company of friends on a trip, these memories have a very special place, and I wish everyone could experience that in their lifetime.

Perfection at every level. Everything from check in to checkout was excellence personified. The property and the experiences that they provide is so wholesome that you hardly need to step out for anything. Every staff makes it a point to know you by name and ensure they give lend a personal touch to every experience that you encounter. The property provides with so many recreational activities be it health related, yoga, cooking classes etc that add a unique dimension to your stay. The quality of toiletries and accompaniments is a class on its own. Superb experience and would rate this among the best ever in Bali.

OMG! What an insanely amazing resort! Stayed here for 3 days and what an awesome place to stay. Incredible food and breakfast options. Rooms were too good. The most important thing was that the staff makes you feel like you’ve come for a holiday and they are so welcoming and friendly! Whenever we come back we would book potato head without a doubt! PS: awesome pools at the place to see the sunsets!

Excellent service and great project; people make the place. Tour and initiative was great. Great F&B - improve the breakfast offering and make the cocktails slightly stronger to be even better. Rooftop cocktails were a bit thin. Potato head beach club is noisy so avoid rooms facing that direction for a better experience. Rooms could have better amenities. Understand you want to reduce waste but suggest to inform us on what is available at the reception. Some of these arent single use. Overall an excellent experience.

This is an amazing property with 5 star service. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options plus pastry and fruit provided each day. I am used to buffet type breakfast but this was so much nicer and also felt like a healthy start to the day. Beach Club is the best. Good chilled vibes. Room is well designed and everything new. (Only downside is its alittle on small side and while good storage options it was still a squeeze with 2 people getting ready). But the soundproofing was amazing. When doors was closed you couldn't hear a thing. Location was good. Overall we had an amazing 7 nights at Potato Head and would recommend to others to stay. Worth the extra cost.

Our stay at potato head suites was what made our entire trip to Bali. Everything was immaculate - the rooms, beach club reserved for hotel guests, daily breakfast by the pool overlooking the ocean, the service and warmth of the staff (you even get a free cocktail for your welcome drink and can ring up their bartender to make a drink for you in the comfort of your own room!). The hotel itself is a work of art - everything is so creative and beautifully crafted, really a treat for the eyes. Come and experience this oasis for yourself when you’re in Bali. Needless to say, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

I really love the vision that this place has. The hotel itself has a unique and different ambiance that you wouldn't get in any other hotel. The guest experience from check in to check out is really good. In fact, how they treat the staff is, amazing. I received testimonial from one of the staff that among all the hotels that he worked with, Desa Potato Head is the best place because they treat their staff really well and as a family. So for me, it speaks a lot of the hotel's integrity. The breakfast ala carte style is perfect. The bed is comfy. The bed sheets felt really good too. I have no complaints so far.

I had to hop on here to write a review about how amazing this hotel / resort was! From the staff, to the food (their breakfast was AMAZING -- I've never expected much from hotel breakfasts...and, I'm not sure any resort / hotel will be able to ever top theirs 🥲 -- I'm attaching photos), to all their amenities (the gym, beach club, even their sunset park / bar) -- everything was absolutely exceptional. And, quite frankly, the food at the sunset park / bar was very reasonably priced (the beach club was a tad bit pricier, but the desserts were delicious)! We upgraded to a suite at the last minute, and we did not regret it one bit! The space, the experience, and all the perks were worth every cent. We were so sad we didn't have more days at Seminyak, solely because of potato head (we barely left the resort except for tours because it was just so perfect). Thank you to all the staff at potato head for making our delayed honeymoon stay the absolute best!!! We're not sure we'll ever find a resort that compares, and we already know we'll have to stay at potato head when we head back to Bali in the future.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are incredible. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. The food at all of their restaurants is good and not overpriced. The only minor complaint is the sound of music until late at night. But the beds are so comfortable that I fell asleep quickly and easily despite the soft sound of the thumping base from the beach club's music.

Our family dined at the hotel's poolside restaurant and all I can say is incredible! Amazing cocktails while watching the sunset, delicious food, and staff that go above and beyond - special mention to the lovely Ari - what a treasure! We will definitely be back !!

Everything at this property is over the top amazing… from the facilities, to the staff, to the food & activities on offer. We couldn’t fault a thing! I would highly recommend staying here. You don’t have to leave the property, as there is so much to do and explore. Definitely visit the day spa, the staff there were incredible! Deka, who was our concierge went above and beyond for us… he made our stay a 10/10 from the minute we checked in. Marta, who looked after us each morning for breakfast was also fantastic and made our breakfasts at the pool so much more enjoyable. Potato Head has no faults & we will definitely stay here again if we are to ever visit Bali.

Absolutely amazing beach club resort. Bring yourself here for a spiritual journey with the many classes available to find yourself, or let loose at the beach club with great music and fantastic crowds. Staff go above and beyond to help your stay here and have many amazing amenities and services. Massages are great value and fantastic. Do yourself a favor and wake up early when you can for the many yoga/mediation sessions. They are great

Had a 3 night stay here. Breakfast was very nice. Property is amazing, by the beach and nice architecture. Pleasant staff. Nice pool area with good sunbeds. Felt that They could have had more sunbeds however. Did not use the beach Club as the hotel pool area was much more nicer and cleaner, pool at beach Club was filthy. All in all a great hotel, although I did not find Seminyak to be a nice place.

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed in my life!!! I didn't know the idea of sustainability could be this pretty. I loved all the art work and design around the hotel. And I still can't forget how beautiful the pool and the sunset was . Breakfast by the pool was always something to look forward to. I loved all the dishes and drinks. Mackerel on sourdough was my favorite! Thank you Arini for being so kind and friendly. . Our studio felt really cozy and the house cleaning was definitely at another level. Thank you Belly for organizing our room so neatly. We were so moved by neat everything was placed when we came back to our room.

Amazing hotel. Breakfast is delicious and healthy. Fresh coconut included with breakfast. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate. Widianta who works in the pool area looked after us. He is such a nice lad. Always smiling. Resort facilities are very clean. Seafood restaurant has amazing food as well. Highly recommended.

Great Hotel at the Beach. Been in Bali for 5 times now and this is the best so far in Bali. We are staying in the Sunrise Studio for one week. Room has a great style and interior. Such a beautiful Hotel. No waste policy where you get a bag and two reusable waterbottles at the check in. The breakfast is a la cart and sooo delicious. Activity’s are for free every day like yoga or workouts. And the staff!!! What should I say. Amazing and friendly. Best staff since a long time. Great 5 star Hotel for an perfect hideaway and stay!!

I can't rate this hotel and my experience staying here highly enough. From the rooms, to the food, the beach club and the services provided from all of the staff, this is the place to stay. Gorgeous hotel with a focus on sustainability. The hotel itself is a masterpiece with a red concrete jungle offset by the beautiful surrounding gardens. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a beautiful library and a large infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Breakfast had a menu designed for wellness in mind with the smoked mackerel being my favorite. The service was friendly and memorable, a big shout out to budi who ensured our pool time was luxurious and fish the Uber chic manager who checked in on us and gave us some really cool recommendations. Highly recommend and will be visiting again.
