Great location direct on the Rhein, good rail connections to Koblenz and Koln. Good walking possibilities in the wine hills behind the village. Plenty of of choice for wineries nearby.

Modern youth hostel with friendly staff and large, accessible bathrooms. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but a bit better than what you usually get in youth hostels.

Not what youth hostels were when I was a boy! It was like a quality hotel, clean, comfortable with a lovely view over the Rhine. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Strongly recommended.
