Food quality doesn't match the price. Sorry, but if your Benedict eggs are hard - you s*uck as a cheff. Also very, very slow staff. Like they bring you your hot meal and tell you that they will bring the bread later, which is 5 (or more) minutes later. Then you ask for the recipe, tell you'll pay by card and they disappear for another 15 minutes 😄 anyway. Also table next to us was dirty and still had the dishes from previous customers for maybe 30min while we were there, then some other customers came and.. wait for it... Cleaned the table themselves 🤣 Anyways, seems that nothing works out in that place and I wouldn't advice it if you want to have a good relaxing time in Speyer, because they will ruin your mood with bad service and average food. I would let go for one time, but this place is just always like this.. it was not the first, but definitely the last time going there

Waiting time was really long. There are only three waitresses for the whole local. Coffee was kinda bad, water like. There is a lot of green stuff on every single food. The toilet did smell bad, and the floor was wet. Only 1,5 slices of ham for 4 pieces of bread. Bread was really fresh, croissants also nice. Eggs were good. Beans tasted like homemade sauce, which is really nice. Overall, it is an average experience. Wouldn't come again for the breakfast.

Food was ok but eggs benedict and potatoes barely lukewarm. Sauce was more like a Mayo and eggs were cooked through, bread was stale. We received and apology but no compensation of any sort (coffee, discount etc.)

I've never left a one star review before so it pains me to do so. I have to say that this is nothing to so with the food as I didn't even get that far. I was a bit slow showing my Covid Travel Pass but the surly (nearly as far as angry) waiter not only read the pass but then problematically tried to scan the NHS Covid Pass with an EU Pass verification system. Of course it wasn't recognised so with a "No, no!" I had to turn tail and leave. Embarrassing and not good customer service. I visited an establishment that understood the UK Travel Pass is still valid but not part of the same database as the EU one (I wish it were). I can understand following the law but there was obviously a misunderstanding with the server in question and a complete lack of wanting to rectify.

Cozy coffee shop in the heart of Speyer. Nice place for breakfast, lunch, a small dinner or just having a coffee or a beer with friends. Some vegan options available (just ask the staff!). Staff is nice and helpful. It’s a place with lots of locals. If you want to be there with a bigger group for breakfast or evenings, you should definitely make a reservation.

Waited an extremely long time for service. Very long time. We didn’t expect to spen our morning waiting to place an order and to have breakfast. If you eat here you may want to plan for an extra day in Speyer.

It is a very good option for lunch. Caesar's salad and club sandwich are very delicious

Some of the staff is very rude. Not willing to give advice. The hotel part is nice, except for the fact that for a "late" checkout. From 10 am to 11am they want to charge €30 which is half of the nightly fair. Food is not worth the money.

Nice restaurant bar in a good location in the town. Food portions were very generous and it served late.
