Excellent crew everyone makes sure you have a safe and good time. I haven't been diving in 25 yrs and my wife had never been. Tony our instructor got me back up to speed and got my wife comfortable enough to go snorkeling. We both had a great time. Lots of amazing fish to see. If your going to try it this is the place to go! We will be back next trip to the keys. Thanks to Tony and the crew for a great time!!

Outstanding Dive Charter. Completed two awesome reef dives. Safety was the number 1 priority. Captains Corners management was extremely particular about the weather/ sea condition and only sailed under great conditions. The crew was fantastic and hard working. Ricky is the man. The crew insisted on handing the gear and switching out the equipment. I needed full gear, Captain’s Corner has everything you need and the gear is in excellent condition. The cost is extremely reasonable and was worth every penny. Thanks for a excellent dive. We’ll definitely see you in the future.

Captain’s Corner is a fantastic crew to go diving with. Excellent staff, friendly but also professional. Well set up boat. A true knowledge of the great sites in the area. And flexibility when weather shifted to make the best possible plans for their divers. I’ll definitely be back when next diving in the Keys; was a great experience to be with them!

Professional, enthusiastic and accommodating staff here. From the owner, the instructors, the boat captains to the crew mates on the dive boats. Captain Rick was very friendly and engaging. First mate Amanda notices everything, provides help and gave us a good rundown on our dive location. We received very good instruction during our Rescue diver classes and the instructor Mike was very thorough and knowledgeable. Mike paused, asked questions, answered questions, and really took the necessary time to make sure the material was understood. The class was physically challenging as it should be. My wife Patty was a little anxious in 2 ft seas but with Mike’s calm demeanor, good humor and patience, she overcame this and completed her practical exercises in the water. I would like to mention also that their boats are not overcrowded and I don’t believe it is their policy to completely fill them like some other outfits do.

Captains corner is a great dive shop that offers extensive certifications for every level. I called pretty last minute to schedule a trip with my buddies and Leslie the owner was able to squeeze me in. She was super helpful and incredibly nice. The facility itself has its own pool which you can do your confined diving in and then the boat is in great condition. The captain Rickie was very knowledgable of the different dive spots and was a pleasure being on the boat with him throughout my dives. The whole staff here deserve 5 stars. I would recommend this place to everyone. I did my open water and advanced certifications with Mike Rice who was absolutely amazing. The first dive I did they called him 5 star Mike and now I know why. I completed 10 dives with him and can't say enough about the guy. Definitely a dive buddy for life after that trip. If you want someone who will teach you the right ways and continuously drive those points home then Mike is your guy. He is an amazing source of information as well an incredible person. I feel very capable now to do it on my own. If you are from out of state and considering traveling to earn more certifications or simply looking for a great dive shop in Key West, I can't recommend this team more. Very organized, competitively priced, multiple instructors, diving for every level and an amazing boat with the latest in gear for their rentals.

I am a diver living in Miami. I like Captain'scorner very much. I met them by chance for the first time and now I dive there every time. Their diving guides and instructors are excellent and professional! They are very responsible and keep our safety!

Amazing dive center! The whole crew was great. Mike our divemaster and guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The captain on the boat also extremely helpful and gave very clear instructions on the expectations. We did a 2 tank dive on the Vandenberg wreck. We arrived on a cruise and the gangway opened 20 min later than expected. We called and they waited for us to arrive and had everything ready. Highly recommend for cruise passengers.

My wife and I had a great time Scuba Diving with Captain's Corner. It was my first time ever diving and our Instructor Derek taught me all of the basics and I felt confident in the water. By the second dive, I felt like a pro! The only issue my wife and I had was that the pool that we did the training in was filthy! Underwater, it was incredibly difficult to see Derek. I hope they read this and clean the pool thoroughly. Other than that dirty pool, I highly recommend diving with the people of Captain's Corner. Great personalities and you can tell they all know what they are doing!

Had an absolutely amazing time with captains corner and their staff. I was a referral coming down to do my open water dives from Massachusetts. My instructor was John and he was great. Super knowledgeable, super cool and very attentive when it came to safety and having fun. I got my certification and had an absolutely amazing time doing it. We saw some sharks beautiful midnoght parrot fish . The reef was teaming with life. I will be back to do my advance ope water and many more . The staff and crew are top notch!!!!

Amazing dive group. The crew makes the experience so enjoyable with their knowledge. I took the open water scuba course with 5 star Mike. He is the best instructor i’ve had the pleasure of working with. He is so calming and reassuring underwater when things are scary. I faced my fear of the ocean with Mike along my side and he made me feel very safe and comfortable underwater. I would recommend this dive shop to anyone and everyone who’d like to try scuba for the first time. Thank you captains corner and most especially thank you 5 star mike you rock!!!!

My 2 daughters (ages 14 & 17) did Intro to Diving. They had a two hour morning pool session to learn and then in the afternoon, went offshore for 2 separate open water dives. They had an AMAZING experience and cannot wait to go back to Key West to do it again!! They had Derek and Tony as their instructors and they were both awesome and made them feel so comfortable and confident. I was too chicken to do it myself but definitely regret my decision, after hearing them talk about how amazing it was. Thank you so much, Captain’s Corner Dive Center!!

First time dive for me and my teen boys. Derek made the experience unforgettable and stress free. After the morning training we went to 2 dive sites and Derek recorded videos of the dive and shared them with us afterwards. Amazing experience for our family and BIG thanks to Derek for recording the memories and sharing some laughs with us along the way. Highly recommend Captains Corner!

Captain's corner had great communication leading up to the dive and had some great staff on the boat both days that I dove. Shout out to dive leader Derek who I had the pleasure of working with - he was patient, communicative, and provided me with videos of our dive, which was a very pleasant surprise and made the experience even more memorable. First of all the reservation process was smooth. I had several questions and Jen was very helpful and responded super quick! Next the day of our reservation was also smooth. The crew were engaging before we even boarded and made us feel like guests on board and that they were happy we were there! Ricky stood out getting us settled and gear fitted. Also engaging- and true professional. We scheduled a guide for our two tank reef dive and scored a great one. Derrick stuck with us, gave us a dive plan, safety checks, reviewed hand signals… all by the book. Then he and Ricky set up our gear before we knew it! Outstanding experience. Oh and the gear, they say on the website it’s well maintained. I think the BCD was new! Great gear! Can’t wait to return.

Went for an afternoon dive & snorkel trip. Had a great time. Dive sites weren't selected until arrival. Loved that, because you can never tell ahead of time how things are on site Everything seemed to run smoothly (it probably didn't, but it seemed that way to me, so well done). It was a walk on, jump in, walk off experience. Crew was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and safe. The boat had plenty of fresh water. Also, it didn't sink, so that was a nice perk.

I got my first dive qualification here about 6 years ago and it sparked a love for diving. I have had nothing but a 10 star experience diving with Leslie and her team. They will make you laugh every time and you will always enjoy the dive. Every other company I have dove with elsewhere will charge for absolutely every little thing they can. Leslie and her team charges a flat rate with fantastic equipment and care about safety and fun above all else. If you get a qualification here they also offer a significant discount on any dive in the future. Thanks again to the Captains Corner team. I will definitely be back!!

I had the best experience getting my advanced open water certification! Jen was an amazing instructor! I completed the course in two days and my favorite dives were on The Vandenberg. Highly recommend using Captain’s Corner for your next dive trip. Justin was a great captain and even gave us some local spots to check out while we’re in the Keys. Definitely coming back for more trips with them!

We had a fantastic experience with Captain's Corner. Our group consisted of my husband, who hadn't done any ocean dives in decades, and our 14 and 11 year olds who were certified but had only done quarry dives, and me, who just enjoyed time on the boat. We hired Derek to guide everyone one on their first ocean/reef dive experience. He was phenomenal...friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The guys had a wonderful couple of dives and knew immediately that they were hooked on ocean diving. We had such a great experience that we decided to book another date, and while they felt confident they wouldn't need a guide on day 2, we opted to hire Derek again anyway, because the boys felt like they could learn so much from him. He kindly adjusted his personal schedule to be back on the boat with us, and once again, we all had a great time. The rest of the crew was just as welcoming and professional and friendly as Derek. Captain Justin did a fantastic job of finding good dive sites, keeping everyone safe, and just generally setting the stage and tone for a great day on the water. Dive Masters Amanda and Jen were lovely as well. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience for our family.

Tony was my instructor and he was super nice and personable and I felt completely safe, his instructions were very clear and he even took me by the hand and guided me along while diving :) Ricky was a super cool and really nice boat captain! Loved Jen as well the dive master! Great experience and that was my third time to do a resort course dive but it had been over 29 years ago 😃 and Tony said “Job well done “ y’all made my trip down from Indiana worth it!!! The EXPERIENCE of a lifetime! We recently traveled to Key West for our 10-year anniversary and decided to throw in some adventure during our stay. I booked with Captains Corner a couple of weeks before going and was anticipating having a blast. It was so much more than that once the day arrived. I overcame personal fears that i have had since i was a kid with deep water (I lost my father in a drowning accident), and TONY was my knight in shining armor. He was so supportive and understanding and stayed right with me until i was ready to cruise along the reef. I felt very safe and encouraged to overcome and have fun! I enjoyed seeing the world from the deep, we both did! TONY i will never forget you! The crew were so nice and accommodating from the time we loaded on the boat until we unloaded. The boat ride out to the reef is 10/10! The visibility in the water could have been better, but obviously cant control mother nature, and the Jelly Fish were cool! I got to tell my kid that I got stung by a Jelly fish (not bad at all) and went swimming with nemo. Will definitely recommend and return! PS: I don't typically review, so BOOK with captain's corner!
