Very cool way to go to Key West. I went as a surprise weekend trip with my girlfriend and she loved the concept. We were on the top deck on the trip down, the wind in our hair and the open ocean were wonderful. On the trip back it was at night so we were in the main cabin, and it was very comfortable. I will definitely do this again, in fact I make it an Annual trip.

Great way to get to Key West! Easy parking, get there an hour early to get a good seat.. bring a deck of cards to pass the time. Absolutely rent the golf cart. It's right there when you get off the boat and you can drop it off before you have to board! They have decent breakfast sandwiches and some other snacks and a good full bar!

Went with a group of 10 on the express. Saved us some time driving and allowed us to sit together. The trip was fun and the time moved quickly. Trip van be around 4 hours. The ferry is fast and stable. Would recommend as a fun trip.

The ride was easy and fun. They have 3 levels, with the top one being outside. They do have food and drink on board, but the food is not great. Drinks are solid. If you're looking for a fun way to go to Keywest, this is definitely it.

This is the only way to visit Key West!!! Your vacation commences upon arrival at the Port. So easy to book, so easy to board, and 3 5 hours of fun in the high seas. Arrive in Key West ready to go. Don't drive and don't fly if you live on the West Coast of Florida. You don't need the stress plus having a car in Key West is suicide....nowhere to park!!!! The entire experience....priceless!!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Key West Express. I boarded the ferry from Fort Myers Beach and enjoyed the scenic ride to Key West. The ferry was spacious, comfortable, and fast. It took about 3.5 + or - hours to get to Key West, which was much better than driving for a whole day. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the galley had a variety of food and drinks to choose from. I also liked the fact that I could bring two small carry-on bags for free. Key West was amazing. There was so much to see and do. I strongly recommend Key West Express & Key West !!!!

Highly recommend the Key West Express. Getting to and from the Keys on the boat was half the fun! The crew was awesome, good crowd, food, drinks and gorgeous views.

Easy way to get from KW to Ft Myers. Just know it arrives late and at this time there may be very few dinner options so you’d better snack a lot on the boat if you don’t have solid transportation when you arrive in Ft Myers- Altho the Uber was cheap to our accommodations. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed the ride.

This was my first trip on the Key West Express and it was great. Had a window seat and so it was awesome to be able to view everything we were passing, even just the water and the waves. Had some bloody Marys in the morning and they were delicious. The crew was great!

Terrific way to visit Key West. Friendly crew, very attentive to safety of seniors. 32-34 knots, no baracles on that hull.

Had an awesome time taking this ferry from Fort Myers Beach to Key West. I was impressed by the accommodations and the smooth ride going down. The weather and seas weren't as nice returning, but I -- unlike some -- was fine. I would definitely take this trip again for our next visit to the Southern most tip of the Continental USA.

Great way to get to Key West. Was a perfect morning when we left on Tuesday for my b-day stayed thru Sunday night..coming back not so smooth with 5 ft swells. I was fine but many people did get sick. We where supposed to leave Friday but due to rough seas they canceled Friday & Saturday...so if you absolutely have to be somewhere I wouldn't recommend the 3 hr ride just incase there happens to be rough weather. Had the best fun at Fantasy Fest best ....It was definitely adult entertainment all week. 68yrs old and one week partying set me back 3 days so far.....I'm still exhausted....lol 69 should be great😊 Crew was fantastic and all very professional. For indoor seating I'd recommend early arrival atleast 2 hrs these are indoors. Also seating top deck is beautiful such gorgeous views of the Gulf and lots of sun up top .. We opted to sit at a high top near the restroom concession stand and smoking area which is also luggage area....unfortunately for me I decided to record wake to show the powerful engines on this ferry the port on my phone got wet and I was lost without my phone all week. Lost a lot of great photo ops so what ever you do stand away from railing to take pics of the wake. We opted for the golf cart for our week stay and it was not the best idea as parking is not readily available. Next time I'll walk and use cabs I think it would be much easier and less stress with cars whipping around you.....some people aren't very patient. A scooter would have also worked but once again you have to park it averages to be around 5.00 to 10.00 an hr. Could get pricey. Not to mention the fumes and heat I actually couldn't get a good breath and said to my friend back to the hotel we go. The bikes..same issue lock it park it find it after drinking all night ...not the best idea....lol

The key west express does the trick and a lot better than driving. The inside is a little dated, the food is basic and there are drinks as well. No WIFI and no data service in some parts of the trip. The staff is pretty friendly and there was plenty of seating when we went.

Never been a fan of long, slow drives. Key West Express mitigated that dislike. The crew was never at a standstill. If not serving the guests, they were cleaning or restocking. Noticeable and impressive. My smoking hot wife of 30 years and I especially enjoyed the sunset trip back to Ft. Myers.

The ride was pretty chill. They have screens with HGTV playing. If you want a choice of seat you have to get there really earlier. I'm not sure about the Fort Myers' side, but the key west side people were waiting 5 hours before loading. The crew was nice. The snack food prices are not bad, but the food was. If you want, bring cash to tip at the end, but I will say this SHAME ON THE OWNER if the crew truly needs tips to survive. The cost of this was what I would pay for a flight or a two day cruise. So if the crew needs tips to make their wages, then the owner is making bank by not paying them enough and pocketing more than they should, and then asking for $$ on wages he should be paying himself.

Great ferry service from Ft Myers to Key West. Food and drink service on the ferry. Sit inside or outside. Takes about 4 hours to get to Key West, but it was a smooth, comfortable ride. Does not run Tuesdays or Wednesdays during low season. They will hold or store your luggage for you. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend the day or several in Key West without the long drive.

I love this option for getting to key West. Great if you can sit outside! Food is reasonable priced. Two beers and nachos was 16.00. But, it is a lot of sitting to do the day trip. Great they have parking attendants in the am but they need a person at night. Those picking up just park all over the place. 17.00 is a bit much to park too. But I'll do it again!!

My husband and I took the key West Express to key West Florida Thanksgiving weekend. It was fun taking the ferry and they got us there at a decent amount of time as promised. No driving 6 hours. It really need getting to key West wonderful experience. They allowed us to stay the night and then take the ferry back the next day. We really enjoyed it. I recommend staying at least the day to visit key West. It was a lot of fun. I would recommend a family and friends.

The ferry from Ft. Meyers to Key West went very smoothly, from the parking to boarding and subsequent arrival at the Key West ferry terminal. On the ride back, we even got to see a beautiful sunset, which was an extra treat! The concessions on board were nothing elaborate, but the coffee was good. I didn't try the bar, but it looked like they had all the popular drinks. I appreciate that they got up and running soon after Hurricane Ian. It's a mess all around their Ft. Meyers location, but they have it all cleared for business.
