The Keys Medical Group. lol. So, I have MULTPLE fractures in my ankle after a Harley (!) deliberately ran into me on my bicycle. Low-class Harleys riders...that's for another story. Today is a Sunday. I had been calling the Keys Medical Group for one (1) week, trying to get pain medication (no, I'm not a junkie - if/when you break your ankle in multiple places, you'll feel my pain.) NO ONE replied until Sunday (today.) That's SEVEN (7) days. When I spoke to "Manny" today, he told me there's nothing they could do. That I would need to contact the surgeon...who is NOT HERE! The surgeon is NOT WORKING THIS WEEK. lol. So, Manny attempted to wander into oblivious rhetoric that only made sense to a monkey - proclaiming that he was the authority. So, I ended up going to the ER> YES! I'm in serious pain. I cannot sleep at night. I can feel EVEERY BONE lol.. My doctor (now former doctor,) Marye McCroskey (or however she spells 'Mary,') refused to help. So, what's the point of having doctor if they can't help you in need? This is the service one receives in Key West. It's called the 'Keys Disease,' where NO ONE wants to work, be responsible for their actions, nor plan on accomplishing anything. They Keys Medical Group is terrible. Sadly, there are not many other options, and they know that. So, for now, my medical insurance can pay out my ER bill (THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS,) whereas before, they would have only paid for a doctor's visit. *shrugs* Manny, Marye (or however she spells her name,) are terrible workers. They likely would have lost their jobs on the mainland, where there is, in fact, competition. Cheers!

Horrible service and care. Asked for a referral to a specialist. They dropped the ball for a month. I had to call them back to remind them, and then they couldn't get me in to the specialist for another month. They referred me to someone who couldn't even do a proper evaluation on me, and that I would need to go to Miami for that, this is after I paid for my specialist appointment. I called back to discuss the issue with management. The manager then didn't get back to me for weeks. I called asking why, they said someone was out of town and would get back to me, weeks went by again. I spoke to their supervisor and she also said she'd get back with me and of course nothing for weeks again. The woman at the Roosevelt location was really rude to me when I discussed my frustrations with my attempts to get a proper evaluation. They don't seem to care about you, and when it's regarding mental health, it shouldn't be disregarded for months at a time.

Sandra Shue, APRN-BC, is quite possibly the kindest and most caring medical professional I have ever dealt with. She treated my eye problem efficiently and well, but it is her empathy about what I was going through that makes her truly exceptional. Thank you, Nurse Shue.

It's a shame, you can't get no appointments when you need one. You have to wait a month or two just to see a Doctor. Jennifer Shue was a wonderful person ever since she left it's been a mess!!! Dr Norman Tingle is very loveable and he try his best to fit you in. I just don't know what's going on with Key West . I guess you have to take your chance and go to Miami for good Doctors (IJS) Key West sucks. Jennifer & Tingle are the best doctors I came across since I been back in these dirty lil keys 😭
