We found this restaurant online, it’s out of the tourist trap of Key West but only about five minutes away by a nice marina. We had the Hogfish fingers , Killer! It is now my favorite fish! Also had a Tex mex burger that was good. They have a lot of good drinks. I like the place because it’s out of the way and very mellow! Do it!

Food and vibe are super. As traveller, we asked hotel staff and our ship captain where to experience local food and authentic key west feeling. They all recommended this place. It is nice environment. Next to dock and have a lot of fishes nearby. Beautiful sunset view. People are enjoying their night life there. A little drawback is the neighborhood doesn’t seems good and there is not enough parking space.

Food great. We had hogfish as a sandwich and tacos. Really enjoyed. Good service, food served promptly. Good prices. Would go again. Unlike some of Key West restaurants which are nice but touristy this place seems hidden away. Not sure why so many reviews focused on area before you reach it - it’s just a trailer park you pass by and no big deal and especially when consider cost of rent/land in this area.

I feel like you have to be prepared for hogfish. The staff was super friendly and would willingly redirect suggestions based on what foods were popular and which to stay away from and same with the drinks. That’s helpful, I really appreciated that. The foods are all pretty heavy, many fried, and pretty greasy. Which I do love but I just have to be prepared for. Overall food was pretty tasty. Nothing worth making a trip for but something to have if you are in the area for sure! I’m really glad we swung by as it seemed to be a place the locals enjoyed as well.

We have been here before but it was several years ago. They looked super busy (no place to park) but we were seated right away. Food was delicious. We had a half pound of steamed shrimp for appetizer. My husband got the fish and chips and I got the Hogfish and scallops. We had leftovers to take home. We got the key lime pie to share. It was the kind of key lime pie I like…tart. It was a little pricey for us but we’d still come back again.

The food and service was so good. Two Uber drivers and the captain of our charter boat recommended we go here to have our catch cooked for us. We were definitely not disappointed. We had our catch fried and blackened with some sides and taco fixings.

Everyone here was so friendly and welcoming and the food is great. The fresh fish specials are incredible and it's fun to watch the antics of the pelicans while you eat and to walk around the restaurant and check out the fish swimming around the docks after your meal. Wonderful food and a wonderful experience!

We had a great lunch at Key West yesterday in a hard to find restaurant. This local spot specializes in extremely fresh hogfish! This is the place to go for a fantastic hogfish, very mild, sandwich! Our sandwich had fresh hogfish covered in grilled onions, mushrooms, cheese, lettuce, tomato & tartar sauce on super fresh Cuban bread. Fantastic food in a old marina area!!!

Food was just ok - the blackened shrimp on our Cobb salad was much better than any of the bland seafood in our grilled platter. Service was great, very friendly and a good atmosphere. The conch fritters were really good. Fries were not good and my family's fried fish and shrimp wasn't great. Lobster Mac and cheese is pretty good.

Very island-laid-back environment. Food was absolutely wonderful and our server was great as well. We shared the fish dip appetizer, and ordered the hog fish tacos and the Cuban sandwich for our entrees. Some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Portions are large too! Fun music, decor, the whole experience was great. We would definitely recommend Hogfish! -- and for the reviews stating that the neighborhood is "sketchy" on your way to the restaurant.... it's a trailer park, get over yourself!

We come here every mini season because we know they’ll cook our lobster and fish we bring in. This day we had them do a taco bar with freshly caught hog fish we brought in and lobster from earlier in the day. Always friendly staff and family friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended this place when in key west 5 ⭐️ s

Had the white conch chowder was delicious, big portion with a little spice. Smoked fish dip very tasty. Sliders and hog fish and chips very good portions. Sliders and hogfish didn’t have much flavor-seasoning. The hogfish it self is flaky and has a fish taste.

What an awesome place off the beaten path with laid-back atmosphere. Although no hogfish today they did have some excellent substitutions. Beer selection was good, Long Island tea was good, fish was good, the fries could be a little better. Well worth the stop and I would go back.

The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The food made it from the kitchen to our table thatvit was still sizzling. A local said it was the best hog fish sandwich in the state and was so right. The fried hog fish basket was great too along with the burger. There is plenty of seating in the main bar area and lots of picnic tables under cover along the pier side. It is a just little off the beaten path but well worth it.

I found this place on Google as I was trying to get away from the weekend crowd around downtown Key West. This is an amazing hidden gem. Its right on the docks and only 6 min from our Hotel. The food was spectacular, the drinks and service excellent too. The atmosphere was relaxed and there was live music but not loud like some places in town. We had a great time and I'm sure we'll come back when we are in Key West again.

The restaurant is next to a dock yo loved the atmosphere. We were here in the evening time during sunset. We tried Hogfish the first time, and enjoyed the dish. The sauce was on the sweeter side and different. Tuna nachos 😋 were tossed with Wasabi so that was a different flavor.

Casual atmosphere sit down dining (mostly long family style benches, dimmer lighting, kid friendly). Service was exceptionally efficient and fast though not overly friendly. Tuna nachos had nice flavor. The chips tested fresh, the seaweed salad gave it nice flavor but there was probably an excessive amount of seaweed salad and the tuna should have probably been cut into thinner pieces, but overall it was a nice appetizer with good flavors. We stayed casual for dinner and went with sandwiches. I got their famous Hogfish sandwich and even though I forgot to ask them to leave the mushrooms off (personal preference) it was a tasty sandwich. Fries were hot and flavorful. My wife got the Cuban was more underwhelmed, she felt the pork was prepared in a non/traditional manner and was very grizzly and grainy and just missed the mark. I have to say our daughters kids order of the chicken quesadilla was really well done though and was cooked well and had well developed flavor you almost never see in a simple dish on a kids menu. We tried the special cocktails (pomegranate margaritas) and were underwhelmed but they were totally drinkable, just nothing standout about them. Key lime pie was good, but nothing standout for the island. Overall a solid dining experience but we were given a chance to go again tonight and passed because there are just a lot of good dining options on the island and this didn’t feel like a repeat visit this trip.

Was recommended this restaurant from a local, and it was by far the best food I’ve had on my entire trip! Service was great! Our server Ervin was really friendly and did an amazing job waiting on us. Highly recommend this chill restaurant.

Excellent service and a wide variety of food options will be a hit! We had the hogfish sandwich with fries and the beer broiled shrimp. Both were prepared and presented well. Food was served hot and fries were crisp. They also had a good selection of beer. We sat outside with a beautiful view of the harbor as the sun set. Key lime pie was good…not awesome but a nice way to end the meal. Definitely recommend.

My seafood dinner was “dock to dish” grilled swordfish with blackened shrimp. Absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the hogfish tacos and we shared 2 happy hour appetizers: smoked fish dip with tortillas and crackers and fried conch fritters. We had amazing service at the bar from our bartender, Ross. Live music was good also. This place was a recommendation from our bartender at Florida Keys Brewing Company and it was a great suggestion. We met a local who said we had found a great place and offered us even more suggestions on where to go next.

This restaurant was highly recommended by the first mate on our charter and it didn't disappoint. Everything was exceptional. The key lime pie was THE BEST we had.

This is the spot to start your culinary trip in Key West, hands down! The fish tacos are definitely worth to try, either the mahi ones or the hog ones, or both! YOLO Great service, great recommendations and overall are great experience. Beautiful view, the food came out quickly, our drinks were refilled multiple times, the music was on point, totally satisfied with our visit.
