Apartment was big and very nice with huge screened in area. The resort is too far from the action of Duval. You have to either take your car and pay a fortune for parking or take a cab which we were told is about $20 each way.

Was our favorite place in Key West until it was overrun with non-guests. There are tons of people coming from all over the island and even the surrounding island to use the pool and beach area. The hotel staff does nothing about it nor did the hotel manager. The last time my family and I stayed there we could not ever get into the pool or the beach area due to the amount of people that did not book a room there hanging out, smoking marijuana and using fowl language. We stay at the beach house because it is a smaller more secluded resort where my children could feel comfortable. The homeless that sleep in front, under the bridge was bad enough but they never came into the resort. Now they are overrun with people that did not book a room there using the hotel's amenities as if they are intitled to them. If I wanted to stay at a motel 6 I would not pay thousands of dollars to do so.

The property was nice and well taken care of. The rooms were very nice! The shower in the master bath was awesome! The down side, the pool is very shallow(4ft) it was like hot bath water. The temperature was in the upper 90's all week with what felt like 100% humidity. Even though they say they have a beach, it's very small and the coral hurts like hell! Key West in general isn't a great destination if you like hanging out at the beach. Most of the traditional beaches on the island are so stinky that you want to get out of there fast! Rotting vegetation all over the beach gives the water a real ugly brown until you get out 20' or so. Overall the room was spectacular but the area isn't what I that it would be.

The rooms are fantastic, spacious, and not a bad view amongst them! The screened in porches were stunning! Suzie Q at the Tiki Bar made our vacation, and Chef Leo kept us full and happy! Having access to a pool AND a little beach area with ocean access was wonderful. Lots of wildlife to watch. The four stars instead of five is due to the lack of shuttle options to get downtown to the fun stuff. The hotel right next door has shuttle and boat options NOT accessible to Hyatt guests. That is the only thing that kept this hotel from being a 5-star stay, but it is something to keep in mind.

My stay at the Hyatt Residence Club Key West, Beach House was nothing short of fantastic! The two-bedroom suite with a fully equipped kitchen was a game-changer, offering both comfort and convenience for our vacation. The pool was a hit with my family! While it was indeed super warm during our stay, the pool made our vacation even more enjoyable. The location of the resort is a dream for anyone who loves the water. Being right on the waterfront allowed us to soak in breathtaking views and indulge in various water activities. We felt like we were in a tropical paradise! The under-building parking was a definite bonus, providing us with a hassle-free parking experience. It was great knowing that our vehicle was safe and protected from the elements. Overall, Hyatt Residence Club Key West, Beach House exceeded our expectations. The combination of spacious two-bedroom suites with kitchens, the lovely screened patio, the enjoyable pool, and the prime waterfront location made our vacation truly memorable. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Key West, this resort should be at the top of your list!

What a great place to stay. The condo was beautiful and spacious. The grounds were well designed and maintained, with a very functional pool for hanging out, and even a little beach area for snorkeling. The location was a bonus for me, as it was about 10 mins to Duval Street (if that’s your thing) and very quiet on an evening. Great access to the main road and an easy exit from Key West once you’re done. Only negative was the parking, which was very cramped and challenging for bigger vehicles. Overall though, this place was awesome. Would definitely come back if I needed a place to stay in the area.

Excellent Hotel. Room has 2 bedrooms, The master bedroom with one of the most beautiful bathrooms that I have seen and a 2nd bedroom with a separate bathroom. It was the perfect size. Very quiet , you wont hear anything at night. AC works perfect. Great beds and very clean.

Nice! Visited in mid September so not too crowded! Pool is nice. Rooms clean. We had a unit with a nice view of the water. I chose to sit by the bay in the shade of the trees to relax and read. I also tried to snorkel there- saw some fish, lobster, etc but current got a little strong as tide changed.

We spent a week on this very nice resort on the Gulf side of Key West. Well maintained grounds and upgraded rooms and furnishings. Each unit has a screened-in porch - a perfect spot for dinner and lounging. Iguanas welcome you to the small beach next to the water. Watch the sunset with your drink perched on the high top tables on the dock next to the tiki bar. Low key vibe all around. Concierge Laurie Jane is full of fun vacation ideas with discounts. Her recommendations were spot on. (Highly recommend the kayaking at Geiger Key and deep sea fishing with Capt. Conch Charters.) An all around great place to vacation away from the downtown Key West mayhem - which is still close enough to bike or drive and enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful place, the rooms are very nice. The only problem is the corparate Hyatt and the hotel management. We booked the room through Hyatt's website two months in advance, with a credit card down, we received email with our confirmation number, and more emails as a reminder of our upcoming stay. When we finally got there there was no room for us or a reservation. The women- Gabby- told us a confirmation number and reservation number are not the same. We waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes for them to get the situation straight. We finally got a room , three days days later they shut are key cards off so we couldn't get back into our room, when we got back from walking around downtown. They told us that we were to check early in the day , but we still had one more day of our stay. Again through our email confirmation with corporate Hyatt we had to prove our stay was longer. The told us that we didn't put a form of payment down and that they needed that from us to get back in our room. So we gave them a credit card again, and when we went back to our room we were still locked out. We then had to go back down to get new cards to get in to our rooms. Gabby and the manager were no help , clearly could have cared less. Bottom line they took no blame for the issues we had there and made out to be our fought. They only care if your a time share member.

Located on the "quiet side" of Key West, walking distance to the airport. The resort's grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants that can be either walked to or a short car ride away.

We had a group of 8. We stayed in 2 units next to each other. The master bathrooms were super nice. We cooked dinner and breakfast when we didn't feel like going to the local scene. The location was near everything e.g. The airport, Publix, the local bars and restaurants, etc...

I exchanged a timeshare for this resort. They gave me a handicap room. Which wouldn't have been a big deal but they failed to mention it does not have an oven!! A necessity to saving money on trips. This resort was built in the 70's and is in need of various repairs: hot tub continues to malfunction, Microwave broke, cabinet door is falling off hinge and towel bar is broken. Not impressed.

Had a great stay at this property. The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family with a nice sized kitchenette and living room. Price was very reasonable considering most hotel rooms alone are similar cost. If traveling to Key West with family and need extra room, this is a fantastic place to stay and great value for the money.

Nice enough rooms, clean, balcony. Pool views 90% of it. No Smart TV so bring your movies. Small TV. Internet weak on and off. Staff nice enough. Micky really good in Lobby. Watch for bikes as you will be the only one. Kayak rental ( don't bother) Save up for KW trip as only thing reasonable is water

The Hyatt Residence Club Key West, a little bit expensive, beautiful view and great location. The place is located near all the fun in the key. The rooms are amazing(clean and cozy). The pool is good but it only goes to 3 ft of deep. The beach access gives you a wonderful scenery at sunset but as a bathing place is no that desirable. In summary, nice place to stay and at a reasonable price.

I've been putting this off. Because I just didn't know how to proceed. We've been to two properties with Hyatt Resorts. Let me begin... common denominator of both properties. Crowing roosters at all hours of the night. Yes, live crowing roosters. Shop worn rooms, noisy neighbors, patios next door to each other. Very little privacy. Too many kids and what seemed to be locals renting these time shares. The people seemed like locals. Not people on vacation. Parents leaving their children unattended at the pool. Pool over run with children and a lot of them and the noise that comes with. The time share concept has just broken way down and has become antiquated. Needless to say, we did not buy. A case of chardonnay barely got me through the 3 days of disappointment. And I enjoyed the chardonnay. DON'T BUY ONE!!
