What a great place! Friendly staff! Very quiet and peaceful location that is truly for adults only. This “adults only” made it quiet and perfect for any couple on a getaway that is kid free! Clean rooms that are quaint and comfortable. Highly recommend this place. While there is no onsite parking, parking was easy enough to find, even for free. Otherwise there are some paid lots that are close enough as well. Definitely worth the visit. Guaranteed this will be a place we highly consider on future Key West trips!

I’m writing from Cape Coral, Florida. The center of Category 4 Hurricane Ian devastation. For obvious reasons myself and my friends were unable to get to Key West for this vacation we had booked over 9 months ago. Half of us were to be taking the Key West express on Friday 9/30/22 from Fort Myers Beach which was completely destroyed. The other half was going to travel by vehicle with no fuel to be found for many many miles. We are all without power and water and have young children we were going to leave with family members for our adult only vacation. Two members of our party are first responders and haven’t seen their families since right after the storm. They are working hard to rescue, clean up, and restore. We were all looking forward to this vacation that we had spent many months saving up for. We are a group of teachers, firefighters, lineman, and blue collar workers. One of our party members called a few days prior to the hurricane hitting, explained our situation, and asked for a refund or postponement. They basically said "too bad” and “I’m sure the Hurricane will be nothing”. Another party member called prior to check in on Friday asking and pleading to allow us to reschedule or get a refund and was denied. We have reached out several times through email as well and we are just being ignored. Many of us have damage to our homes and vehicles, no food or water, are out of work, and are going to need every penny. I just want them to hear our pleas because we all spent a large amount of money on this vacation for it to just be thrown away.

My wife and I had booked a weekend destination through Orbitz to Key West and had decided on this hotel. We were excited to finally get away and have a little us time. Unfortunately, 4 days prior to the trip my wife fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital (I have receipts if the owner doubts this story). We had hoped that she would be discharged and still able to make it but as it got closer to the date (2 days to go), we saw best to reschedule the trip. Most transportation and events were accommodating by simply giving us a credit or rescheduling except THIS LOCATION. I had called asking if anything could be done and was told I would get a callback. 1 day prior to the trip, I called again and was told they don't cancel or reschedule if it's within 14 days of the reservation. Wonderful customer service. We will still be making the trip to Key West once my wife gets better as we have a lot of credits with other vendors, but we'll definitely make sure not to come here. Please make sure life doesn't happen if you have any sort of plans for a trip!

This place is amazing. The best parts: price, location & cleanliness. We used to be Key West locals and when we visit we usually stay with family. We decided to try the Heron house for a few nights since we could not believe the price. Under $200 a night for an old town location is unheard of these days. We booked not expecting much honestly. When we checked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The location can’t be beat. Close enough to the craziness Key West has to offer but secluded enough where you can peacefully sleep at night. About a 3 minute walk to Duval. I was so impressed with how spacious and clean our room was. I’ve stayed at 4 star resorts on the island and in my opinion the Heron House has the same cleanliness standards, if not better. We loved our room, the beautiful waterfall/ koi fish pond on the property and of course the beautiful pool. The girl that runs the coffee stand is awesome and super friendly! Don’t forget to bring extra cash to tip for her services! Lastly, Trent was awesome! He went out of his way to accommodate our luggage situation. Also there’s this super cute and friendly cat that jumped on my hubby’s lap and stayed there for about 20 minutes until we were done with our morning coffee. We are not cat people at all and I was kind of scared but this cat is seriously so friendly. Overall, this B&B is a great value! I hope they keep their prices reasonable so more people can enjoy this beautiful island.

The staff was wonderful as was the location and ambiance. The room was clean and despite needing some updates (cracks, loose light switch). I guess they don't want my money though because they still have not charged my credit card and I still have not received a final amount. (Asked twice). It was an enjoyable stay!

Great location. Very dated rooms. The ac in rooms was very very terrible. I was so uncomfortable the entire trip. The pool was nice. If the ac worked it would have been a great vacation but I sweated nonstop for 4 nights. I highly recommend you really check the temp of your room upon checking in.

Location is excellent. Clean rooms and fresh coffee in the morning by the pool with actual coffee mugs! I left a small bag in my room and the hotel called me about it and went above and beyond to get it back to me. I will definitely be back and highly recommend staying here. No kids too, like most places in key west, was awesome!

Stayed here with multiple family members for a wedding. We had 4 rooms total and stayed 3-5 nights each. We enjoyed the location. Unfortunately property upkeep/maintenance was lacking and housekeeping staff only slightly tended to one our group's rooms during our stay. The floors of some rooms were very sticky and we had to resort to taking pool towels after a few days of reusing the ones we were originally supplied in the room. We are not picky but would have appreciated fresh towels, trash bags, and drinking cups without having to track down a staff member (if we could find one).

Key West adults only accommodations. Great location just a block or two off of Duval Street. We enjoyed our stay. Loved the private and quiet setting. Lovely grounds with an aquarium and pool. Lots of seating nooks to hang outside and relax. We could walk to most everything we did. The staff took good care of us and the other clientele were friendly as well.

Roman went above and beyond to make sure my wife and myself had an exceptional time. All the tourist attractions were within walking distance. Will definitely go back and recommend all my family and friends.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we checked in until we had to leave, we felt right at home. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional customer service. The rooms were comfortable and cozy, making it difficult to leave. The courtyard features a small pool and a clothing-optional sundeck upstairs, perfect for soaking up some sun. In the morning, we enjoyed a pleasant breakfast bar with fresh coffee, served by a wonderful hostess. This was our first stay at the hotel, but certainly won't be our last. The hotel is conveniently located near Duval Street and many other fun attractions. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area.

Great place to stay. 2 blocks from Duval. Park your car and walk around. Florida resident that visits every month. This hotel is definitely worth checking out.

We loved our stay here! My husband and I went for our honeymoon this past week and couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location was walking distance to everything we needed. The room was so lovely and had great atmosphere. The environment of the whole place was so relaxing and was just as beautiful as the photos online. Every staff member was very kind and helpful with anything we needed or any recommendations we asked about. Patrick and Margarita were so kind. The pool was lovely. We also enjoyed the excursions we booked through their website (sunset dinner cruise, snorkeling and dolphin cruise) which were a great price and value. We will definitely be back!

So pleased with my fiancée and I’s stay! This was the most reasonably priced hotel available through Amex, yet the service and rooms deserve to be higher priced. We had a beautiful room with high, wooden ceilings, a balcony overlooking the pool area, and french doors in the front and back. Breakfast was prepared by Crystal, who had the most incredible personality. She was thoughtful and made and prepared the breakfast station and eggs-and-protein-to order with LOVE and a smile. She made our day, as did the manager’s accommodating a late checkout. Will definitely be back!

Great location - walkable to nearly everything. But absolute worst hotel bed I've ever slept in. It was so hard with a huge lump right down the middle. They also claim to clean the rooms daily. I was out of my hotel room at 8am each day, never returning until at least 5pm and they came to give me a couple new towels once in 4 days. Never changed the sheets or did any other cleaning. The floor and bathroom weren't even clean when I checked in. For $500/night, there are plenty of other options in Key West - don't try this place. The people working the front desk don't even care about your experience or satisfaction.

We had reservation on September 29-30. We were taking the Key west express. The boat canceled on the 27 because of the hurricane we called the hotel to cancel and change to a different day. The hotel said they had a 14 day policy we didn’t want to cancel they said we could not change the day we would just be out of the money and our room would be waiting on us. The island was not closed we could drive. Be we would be out the money for the boat.

The absolute best place we stayed on Key West! Highly recommend booking the honeymoon suite (we got it without knowing and it was such a treat). Such a quiet respite away from the hustle and bustle, but only a few blocks from the center of it all. We loved it!!

Would've given 5 stars but their breakfast is a joke. Last time we stayed there they had eggs and hashbrowns and this time was bread, yogurt and cereal. It's best to go out and try the local places which we do but we usually don't head out until 10 and it's nice to have a Lil something before getting ready and going out. Other than breakfast the location is awsome. The property itself is quiet and manicured nicely. We enjoy staying here and will continue to do so.

My dude and I were guests in Room #1 a few weeks ago. Pool was great! Loved the landscaping. The bed was comfortable! We slept rather well. And we loved the retro Floridian vibes. But the hospitality was mediocre, the room was a bit dated and had some maintenance issues. Additionally, the continental breakfast was basic, but the woman running the breakfast the morning we left was friendly and polite. The front desk guy wasn't necessarily rude, but also lacked the charm and attentiveness one would expect at a hotel. In fact, he had one leg crossed under the other as he sat, and leaned back in his chair. He seemed bored, almost unapproachable. The shower particularly slow to drain, and it was obvious the ventilation was poor. The wallpaper was peeling, and the tile had been repaired with mismatched grout. There was a slight gap under the door which could've permitted insects or an animal to enter. The window air conditioner was insufficient for the room and climate.

This is our to go Bed and Breakfast when in the keys.. It is very very well located and is pretty much within walking distance to everything in Duval street. You must park on the street but if you're patient, you'll find within 1 to 3 blocks away. The rooms are a good sized and beds and pillows are very comfortable. Staff is attentive and quick to take care of any issues. Nice small pool and the outdoor patio is very nice to have a glass of wine or cold beer. Adult only so no kids screaming or running around. Highly recommended for your short getaways. Their pricing on the of season are very reasonable compared to similar places. Frankly this is really a nice place to book... You cannot beat the location.
