We had a wonderful time here. We stayed in room 1 which has a balcony overlooking the pool bar and was very comfortable. Stephen the host was delightful settling us in. Tim at the bar is one of the best bartenders I've ever met and kept us watered, entertained and laughing in our first few days. Everybody working there was a credit to the guesthouse and I can't wait to return.

Overall a good place to stay, friendly staff on check in, although when I was told I had "the party room" I was nervous. Unfortunately not knowing the layout of the rooms, mine was mere feet from the pool bar. Very noisy at night but didn't have far to stumble to bed. The barman on day shift for my 2 days there really made my trip a pleasant experience. But unfortunately as the shift change happened the service and friendliness went down. On my last night, after shift change it appeared anyone over 30 was not welcome, I was on the side of the bar with a few 50+ men and we were ignored to the point where one guest left the bar after verbally asking for service multiple times and being ignored.

I come every year for my birthday. However this year the bar was weird. Always charging different prices. One bar tender charge one thing as soon as he leaves new bartender charges much more for drinks. So we were all a little confused as to why one person was taking so much more for drinks that were supposed to be free during happy hour. Ours were not free and it was just champagne which they state is free.

This place is situated where there’s a bunch of shops close by and plenty to do! The vibe here is very fun especially the poolside bar. The only thing that wasn’t so great was the rooms. They were clean and well-kept, but the building itself is very old, and it reflects that in both the plumbing, and the fact that the only way to reach the upper level is by stairs.

Jeff H is the most hospitable and sweet bartender in Key West. You must stop by and pay him a visit. Fun times and outrageous pool shenanigans. A great entertainment spot and must see for yourself!!! You won’t be disappointed!! Woof!

The room was very nice. Cleaned and sanitized daily Would be nice to have more shelf space in the bathroom since we had 3 people staying there. The included breakfast was basically microwavable sandwiches, but we ate out all the time anyway. The pool and hot tub were always clean. The staff including bartenders were all friendly and fun. Good drinks. Great price compared to other hotels. We will definately be staying here again.

Stephen was very informative and answered questions at desk and gave amenities like towels when needed.etc.very reasonable price compared to many other places.they all have there pros and cons.we find great things and bad things about all places when asked..we would go back based on our knowledge now more so,but determine if rooms and area is for you ,,great desk man Stephen.

single worst "resort" experience of my life. i am incredibly upset at how i treated by the staff. i am not a man without means. i flew to key west first class paid a remarkable amount of money for an incredibly disrespectful experience. i have been to resorts on 4 continents and this one by far needs the biggest attitude adjustment and is in desperate need of a good education in hospitality. if;when i fly to the island for a 3rd vacation. i will stay at the island house. i suggest anyone part of my demographic to do the same

Just finished our second stay at The New Orleans House and planning on next year already. It is the BEST! Centrally located to everything, GREAT service, super clean rooms, gym, pool, hot tub and grounds. Super comfortable. The staff, Stephan, Scott, Carlos, Nicholas, Rhett and everyone else were friendly, attentive, hospitable and happy to help with anything. The continental breakfast on the front porch rockers was always a great way to start the day. The pool, hot tub and grounds were always clean and fun. The pool-side tiki bar is a highlight weather for a drink or 10. The Saturday Pool Party by Rhett was a fun surprise too. There were great sites, games and an excuse for vacation day-drinking! Always fun, relaxing, comfortable and non-intimidating. Thanks all for another great vacation.

The best part of New Orleans House is its location. Located directly on Duval St, the hotel makes for an easy, convenient walk to shops, restaurants, and bars. It also has two of its own bars, Bourbon St (which caters to the LGBT community but is open to the whole public), and the Garden bar with a swimming pool and hot tub (for men only). In addition to location, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the staff is extremely friendly.

Stephen is amazing ! He took care of use during our 4-night stay at New Orleans House and made sure we had everything we needed at all time. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. There are lots of outdoor spaces where we could sunbath (the terrace, the patio etc.) We also loved watching RuPaul's Drag Race at the bar with other guests. Thank you Stephen !

The New Orleans house is a unique complex. With 4 different bars, bourbon street, 801, a drag show bar upstairs and a leather bar. All you need in one complex. Our room was a duplex fits 4, clean roomy and confortable …and you are staying on Duval Street. Can it get better ?

Clean rooms and comfy beds. Some rooms are quieter than others due to the location. A nice sun deck out back, as well as a bar, Jacuzzi and swimming pool. Grab pizza next door snd dine on their poolside tables.

Didn’t stay in the hotel, but had a great time at the bar outside by the pool and enjoyed swimming in the buff. I love that Bourbon Street Pub guests can enjoy this amenity. Will likely be staying at the hotel next time the boyfriend and I are in town. Bartender Jeff was very friendly and attentive. He made it a point to bring me a water between each drink after I’d remarked how hungover I was the first night we drank there. Only thing I’ll say is they realllllllly need to redo the marcite in their pool because I had some scrapes on my feet and my… erghem… “seat” was a little sore after sitting on the steps of the pool without a bathing suit on throughout the night, haha.

Love, love, love. Just a great place to chill and have a few drinks or party and get sh*t faced. Back pool/ tiki bar area is open to Male visitors as well as male guests. Inside bar is open to all genders. I’ve stayed here and had a great time. This time I just visited but also had a great time. Must visit for LGBTQ crowd.

Didn't want to leave. Staff friendly and very helpful. Bartenders Tim, Jeff and Mark were the best. Tim made sure we were made to feel like a local, awesome bartender. We will be coming back next year.

Husband and I thouroughly enjoyed two nights in room #3 and would be grateful to visit again! The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained. Ample electrical outlets and space for clothing. The hotel staff were super warm and inviting and genuinely made the experience all the much better. The outdoor pool and bar area was our favorite and the bartenders were on point and poured excellent cocktails. We enjoyed a soirée in the hot tub and only wished it was a longer stay. Highly recommended!

We did our research and knew what we were going to be in for. A nice clean spot right in the middle of all the activities and action! Disco, beach party, pole dancing around the pool. Feel the music and the rhythm pulse thru you well into the night. Good vibrations abound. Wiggle it just a little bit and have a good time. A very well equipped gym is available for you to get super pumped before you fully relax in the hot tub or bask in the sun. Sitting about halfway on Duval, you can get to the coast or the gulf in a short walk. If you're still reading and waiting for the other shoe to drop...that happens on New Years Eve with Sushi in a đź‘ . But for real it's like a party all the time. A relaxing start to the day is coffee and snacks on the front porch. Nesting above the street you can sit and dish while planning your next escape. If you like to be in the middle of the action this is your place! The guys at the pool bar are sure to make your stay memorable. The boys in the main bar will make you forget your name. We will be talking about this trip for a very long time!
