The good: hard to beat happy hour prices. 2 bars! Nice location. Age of crowd and music skews a bit younger than other places. The meh: food is slightly above average. The bad: non happy hour food is expensive and not really worth it. Overall: come here for great non watered down cheap drinks during happy hour and socializing.

Delicious wings, drinks and a pool; what could be better with the Florida heat. Heather made it all better. We loved the drinks she made and her friendly personality was so refreshing. Key West has a lot of personalities and hers was one we appreciated. Buffalo wings were delicious and just as good warmed up as leftovers at our bed and breakfast. The pool was packed on Sunday but not very much so on Monday while we were there. We didn't mind the crowd as you should expect that with a bar and a pool. Two things that go together well. This was probably one of the best days I had in key west - maybe because it was so hot out and the pool was great - pool wasn’t cold but it did the job at keeping us cooled off. The day pool party was a blast! Everyone in the pool was such a vibe. No drama. No fights. Just very chill and great music. Full bar with food. If you’re in the poop, service comes to you. Chairs are limited for sure so you’ll have to go early to get a chair or table. We just left out things by the fence / trees until a chair became available. Bathrooms are up stairs which was weird… slippery when wet so be careful! Definitely would come back if I get to go back to key west! Have fun!!!

It was a great spot! We rode bikes a few places and wanted to cool down. We swam through happy hour. Our server Sarah was top notch.

We originally went somewhere else with our catch from the day and were turned away but they recommended Dante’s. We walked there and it’s seat yourself. We were able to be there during happy hour (4:30-7:30) and our waitress was amazing. She suggested how we should get our catch cooked and got us amazing drinks. I had the poolside daydream and my husband had the key west lemonade. Our bill was what surprised us the most. It was the least expensive bill that we had in Key West for dinner so far!

We visited Dante's on two different occasions during our trip. It was packed on our first visit--which isn't a bad thing as we did enjoy meeting new people. The cocktails are quite weak, and sometimes it's very difficult to flag down our server to order more drinks. Thus, we found it best to order buckets of beer. The pool during the daytime is the best part about Dante's, especially since Key West lacks any great beaches. Be aware they do start closing the pool around 5:30 PM for dinner service.

Dante’s was a good time. We went as a group of 9 during fantasy fest. We arrived right at opening time and was able to get tables right by the pool. The service was slightly slow but the customer service was good. The staff were all friendly and accommodating even when it got busy. The DJ played good music but was charging $10 for song requests, which is slightly obnoxious. Overall we had a fun time.

If you don’t like topless restaurants, don’t go to this one! Went to have them cook our fresh catch from the morning and they did a fantastic job! It was delicious! Not kid friendly. You need to show your ID upon entry.

The atmosphere was amazing, they had a dj playing good fun music, a pool you can swim in(with floating pong tables if you ask), the food was delicious,and the service was relatively tentative. We loved the pretzel bites with the key lime mustard and we also had fried shrimp, the cuban Sandwhich, and the bang bang shrimp. It was all so delicious!!

Great public pool option if you're eating or drinking at the establishment. Beautiful pool, excellent drinks, palm trees, and near the ocean! Don't bring a fake ID here. They will getcha. Watched it happen. Barmaid handled it gracefully! The young couple did not. Hence, the police in the photo. We are heading back today because we had such a good time yesterday!

This is one of my favorite places to go after fishing. We love the hook and cook. They always fix the fish perfectly! Excellent atmosphere and a lot of fun!

A legendary bar and a very popular spot in Key West. Visited for lunch during the week and the place was packed. It can be hard to find a free chair or lounger especially during busy times but the place is definitely worth visiting. The pool and drinks are fantastic, lots of awesome photo op, and the food there was surprisingly very good too! I had shrimp ceviche which tasted amazing and imo was a perfect seafood snack by the pool. It's an experience and if you've never been it's a must stop while in Key West!

We had 8 in our party and was there for 30 minutes of happy hour. We brought our own catch for them to prepare. The fish was prepared good and the sides was good. My only problem was the server refused to separate the check. She brought out 1 check. The problem with splitting it is some people only drank water, some only beer. Others had liquor. Two people ordered oysters. What I had should have cost $20 but splitting the tab was $40. Not fair to me but the oyster and liquor guys made out. This has to change if in fact that is their policy as she claimed. Next time I will insist or we will not eat there.

If your in key west and your looking for a great place to hang out this is the spot from 11-7. Great food music and a good vibe. Just get there early to get a good spot because it does fill up pretty fast.

Amazing food! We ate here twice during our time in Key West. The seafood is fresh- you can't go wrong with anything. The shrimp came with way more than we expected. We also had an ahi tuna wrap for the first time and would order it again. They have plenty of seating as well as a pool, so bring your swimsuit!

Happy hour selection is good, especially the seafood appetizer. Would not bother with the stone crabs, expensive and unfortunately tasted like they sat in water too long, basically had no flavor. Still would recommend going.

While taking the Hop On Hop off Old Town Trolley tour, we were asking the locals where a good place would be to have some seafood. Most of them recommended Dante's. They were right. The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and willing to answer questions about most anything pertaining to Key West. Wear your swimsuit so you can take a dip in the pool while you are here as well.

A fun place to hang out, have a few drinks with friends and swim in the pool. Our server, Freckles, was super attentive and friendly. The drinks were nicely made.

During a day trip to the Keys, we came across DANTE'S restaurant. Beforehand, we had made a small walk through the beautiful Key West, only the parking was a little overpriced. After we got a seat directly at the harbor, we were handed the menus by the very nice waitress. Especially recommended is the happy hour card with discounted drinks and food. Oysters were available for $1 each and 3 shrimp for $2, really very fair. We ordered with 6 people different dishes, including the catch of the day, lobster with vegetables and shrimp in two different versions - once with spaghetti and once with fries. Everything tasted very good to us!!! We sat during the sunset while eating and it was just great - we would come back anytime !!!!

My husband and I enjoyed this place so much that we went twice during our vacation. The food is reasonable priced. Especially during happy hour. They cooked the fish that we caught and brought in. The drinks are amazing. The bartenders are a blast. We would definitely go back.

Great place to go to have a drink, take a dip in the pool, or grab a bite to eat. Zoe E was the best, very attentive and accommodating There was a dj there on Thursday so it was nice having some music to listen too. Give this place a try!

My friends and I ventured into this Pool Bar and had quite a fun time despite being older than the majority of those there. There were plenty of covered tables to sit at and a large bar area that was great. Restrooms were just a short walk away. Staff was very friendly.

Dante’s is a great place to chill out by or in the pool. Drinks are always a good way to cool down and having the Super Nachos with Chicken was definitely what the doctor ordered! Yes you can play beer pong in the pool, DJ has the place jamming and the view… well that’s not bad either. Close to the Key West Express dock, whether you’re just hitting the island or departing, Dante’s is the place to go. People watching is the best at Dante’s, if you don’t see the person who’s about to get a third degree sunburn, you might be them? Seriously, use some SPF (Reef Safe of course) otherwise you’ll be hurting!

Such a fun time! This is a great place to hang out and enjoy... the service is awesome! Our server Taylor didn't let us get hungry or thirsty, she was on it. Poolside drinking made easy.
