How can you claim this is an 300.00 shipwreck coin when its so highly polished and bright their is no eye appeal? So polished the details are gone,it is junk silver now no matter what documents you send. I understand cleaning it up some but good lord these pictures were at 7pm on an over cast day.this thing is absolutely ridiculous,no indication of water marks or even being old.after I take it and have it checked to be sure it's even real silver I will have to tone just to have some eye appeal. Definitely not worth the price,I have some 8 reales that cost less than half of what this was that looks 100% better.i can show you what an 230 yr old coin is supposed to look like vs an ruined "shipwreck " coin that is only worth junk silver....Definitely will never order again. You may want to specify that the coin is highly polished....

Great first purchasing experience with Susan. She was thorough and patient with me as I made my decision. Love my new piece :)

Staff was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. Happy to educate me about the family of treasure finders and had lots of knowledge about the shipwrecks, coins/treasure, and even the science behind why gold vs silver preserve better under the ocean. Really incredible. The girl with the spiky brown hair was wonderful.

I grew up with the stories of Mel and his treasures. To me this is a essential stop every time I go to Key West. They were very busy when I went in but I was able to look and made my final purchases online.

I love being part of the Mel Fisher family. Skip at the Key West store is always a pleasure to deal with and is so knowledgeable on all aspects of coins and treasure. If you are in Key West stop by this store and museum for a once in a lifetime experience. Today's The Day!

Loved the store and have always been truly fascinated by Mel's work. I bought a replica from the store and have to say I'm really disappointed that the gold plating is already wearing off the pendant where it touches my skin and the necklace turns my neck green. Only been a few months since the purchase. For what they charge for a replica the quality certainly could and should be better. Oh well, live and learn. :(

I bought a necklace from them on 4/13/22. The coin literally fell out at some point within 8 weeks. I sent it back and they offered to sell and replace it at full /over retail price. They don't stand behind what they sell. They obviously DON'T care about customers. THE COIN LITERALLY FELL OUT BECAUSE IT WAS OBVIOUSLY MOUNTED INCORRECTLY. I ASSUME THEY BELIEVE I TOOK IT OUT..... although A CLEANED / POLISHED COIN LIKE was in the neclace I BOUGHT IS LITERALLY WORTHLESS. Buyers beware...don't trust them!!!

Vic was great went in on a Thursday night. Bought a few things and was so inspired I had to return Friday to buy my wife a pair of earrings. I will be keeping on touch for more coins to add to my collection.

Awesome place and super fun. Only issue we had was staff was pretty unfriendly especially the English accent lady and the younger girl that issues the handheld speakers
