My sister came to Key West when she was 17 and bought a beautiful shipwreck coin necklace from them and she just brought me (her little brother) to Key West at age 17 and I got my own. The owner was so kind and genuine and I would recommend the store to anyone. I will be back!

This is the piece I purchased there four years ago. It was the best experience! I was going to buy one from the museum but they were pretty pricey. I found this place on my way back to the boat the day I left. Am ever glad I did. The bezel on this piece was so much nicer than anything I saw at the museum and it was less expensive. I love it and am so glad I bought it. I love it and wear it every day!

I visited Key West Treasure Chest on a cruise 5 years ago. I bought a sterling silver compass rose necklace and wore it nearly every day for the next 5 years. The necklace held up really well, and aside from cleaning it every once and a while I did hardly anything to take care of it. After 5 years, I wasn’t sick of it, but I took it off one evening and couldn’t find it after that (I believe it fell prey to my dog :( ). I wasn’t really interested in a different necklace, I just wanted the same one I’d worn for ages. I reached out to the shop via Facebook with little expectation that anything would come of it. The shop owner, Sherry, was extremely helpful, and had her colleague Gerry send me photos of the pendant to make sure it was the same one. They shipped it quickly and with care via FedEx and even sent me a gift of a bracelet from their collection. I’m so grateful that I reached out, because this shop is awesome! Thank you Sherry & Gerry for all your help.

This place is amazing. Sherry is a wonderful person who has had an amazing adventure of a life. My wife and I spent 2 hours talking with her about life and her adventures. We picked up several beautiful items. Sherry is one of the most gracious humans I've ever met. We are grateful to have met her.

Amazing store! So much history packed into a relatively small space, and the lady at the store was equally amazing! She has so much knowledge that she is so excited to share, and I learned alot from visiting the store! It is filled with both authentic and replica pieces of Spanish shipwrecks and more. After I left I felt like I had just gone on a museum tour about Spanish shipwrecks, native peoples of the area, and the colonization of the United States and surrounding countries. If you are in key west and are at all interested in history, you wont regret stopping in!

Sherry is extremely kind and a wealth of knowledge. My mom had visited Key West and purchased a coin for me from Sherry. It’s my favorite piece of jewelry so I decided to contact Sherry to see if she could help me purchase one for my mom over the phone. I stumbled across Sherry's shop by chance while wandering about Key West, and was so glad I did. Sherry is lovely. If you visit, take time to watch the video of her interviews about the treasure that she recovered, gain an understanding of the characteristics of the coins, and hear about Ace. Sherry shared wonderful details about the coins in her shop. I would certainly consider investing in one of these special coins. There are many coins around this Key West town, but from Sherry, you have a special link to the history and salvage of the wreck. Thank you for making my visit memorable, Sherry. stumbled across the shop last year and just found it interesting that they had actual shipwreck coins. Stopped in this year and bought my girl a small gold charm for her necklace, and Sherry gifted her a bracelet. After receiving a thorough education on shipwreck coins I bought one and Sherry did an amazing job of picking out the best one in my budget. I hope to save up and get an Atocha coin one day!

Our cruise ship docked at 7:30am and as we wondered on the dock this amazing lil store was the only thing open. Sherry spent some time with us telling all about the discovery of the treasures. We asked if she had ever written a book and she told us he’s about her dog. She told us the amazing story about Ace. This is a must stop when you come to the keys! I found Sherry's store just walking down the docks of key west, made a wrong turn and there it was, saw some gorgeous coins in the window and I was hooked. My girlfriend and I were both greeted by sherry, an absolute lovely woman that I could listen to all day long. With some (very little) prior knowledge of the famous Atocha wreck found by Mel fisher I was immediately drawn to the Atocha coins, she had a beautiful collection from grade 1-4 coins, I just had to have one, sherry sold me a beautiful atocha coin in a 14k pendant with a 14k anchor link chain. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase and honestly hearing her story with Mel fisher was worth the price of the chain and the coin. Sherry it was a pleasure and I can’t wait to come back!
