If you are looking for a local secret, off-the-beaten-path place serving authentic Caribbean food, this is the place for you. The food was amazing, and the Key lime habanero sauce so good we bought a bottle for home.

Awesome places family run restaurant. Loved the aloo pie and veggie roti and paratha with the hot sauce. The owners personally made sure we were served and happy with food and even suggested us best way to split a meal. Definitely check this place out, you will feel like you going for some home cooking.

So glad we discovered this restaurant for lunch! The owners Amy and Shane have a great thing going here. We had the geera pork and jerk shrimp sandwiches. Both were delicious!! Wonderful flavors and generous portions. I also tried the homemade tamarind iced tea. Lightly sweetened and perfect for a hot day. Get off the main drag and make the effort to try this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Just like grandma Shaffina used to make! This is the most authentic trinidadian food I have ever had in the U.S. If you love culture and curry, come to Pepper Pot. They are not shy with the meat and the amount of food you get makes this place the best value and best tasting food on the island!

Go here! Hole in the wall place with really amazing food. Really sweet, dedicated owner and large portions. Everything we tried was amazing. Definitely best paired with the exceptional house-made hot sauces. They sound pretty hot but were definitely tolerable and add so much

Went here with my family on the way to the beach and loved it!! I had been wanting to go here all week and it definitely did not disappoint. We got the chicken curry roti and it was more than enough for leftovers. Such great flavors and not too heavy either. The ginger beer was a refreshing touch as well. So happy to support, what looked like, a family business!

Our favorite meal from our trip to Key West! We got the goat curry roti and plantains both of which were cooked perfectly, and the tamarind tea made in-house. If you are looking for healthy, delicious, and relatively inexpensive food, support this local business. If we were local we would eat here every day!

This was easily the best meal we had as a family during our trip to Key West. We tried the Curry Chicken Roti, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Jerk Chicken Sandwich, and Potato Salad; all of them were excellent. I would highly recommend taking the time to give it a try. It's a little out of the way, but it's well worth the trip to get what feels like home-cooked comfort food from Trinidad. I'm excited to visit here again on our next trip to the keys!

Absolutely delicious!! My friend had the shrimp curry dhal and I had the jerk chicken roti. The roti was so soft!! It was simply amazing and the roti was so big I had enough leftovers for breakfast the next day!!

What a hidden gem in Key West. Although it’s a small business, it’s very well managed. People are so nice. Food was delicious and freshly made. We had Dhal roti and Dhal bowl, great portions. Being an Indian and vegetarian, loved this place. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough about the best hidden gem in Key West!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner and the chef are the most charming husband and wife team. But the star is the food! Curry goat, chicken, fresh made Roti, jerk seasoned meats and shrimp are just more flavorful than I can describe. Super fresh and delicious. Ate so fast we didn't even get a picture!!

Small, family owned, traditional Trinidadian restaurant. Amazing food! They also have a burger for those not as adventurous. I personally had the chicken curry roti, tamarind tea, and a couple Solo sodas. Large portion, my roti covered the entire plate. No more than 6 people can eat in at once or get it to go.

This is a hidden gem take out restaurant in old town Key West that serves delicious Caribbean inspired food with emphasis on Trinidadian specialties such as roti and dhal. I had a beef roti along with a sorrel drink which were great - highly recommended and reasonably priced

Traditional island style food in a tiny, unpretentious Mom & Pop place. Very flavorful dishes with unique spices and sauces. Very friendly couple run it. Nothing else in Key West like this little gem. Our most memorable meal in Key West.

An absolute must stop if you're looking for interesting and tasty food in the area. Everything was well seasoned and made fresh. The owner is super sweet and fast to serve! The homemade teas in the fridge are a must try if you love trying new things. I would recommend this to anyone that's not interested in the local American cooking, and wants some heavily spiced food. I would come back if I was in the area again.

We tried this place because my husband loves hot sauce, and it didn't disappoint. The sauces have amazing flavor and just the right heat to clear your sinuses but allows the flavor to be noticed. We left satisfied and with several bottles of hot sauce. Service was fast and the couple who run this were very kind and welcome to us. It's a great spot if you are visiting Fort Zachary Taylor state park

The goat curry bowl was perfectly filling with a full and yet light curry flavor and the goat meat just melts in your mouth. The jerk shrimp sandwich was delicious with a crispy fluffy roll and topped with a refreshing tomato cucumber “relish”. The tamarind tea and the sorrel drink were thirst quenching, slightly sweet and over all delightful. The owner and the young girl at the counter were very pleasant.

Worth getting off the main streets to walk to this great little restaurant! Amazing food! Had the goat curry and shrimp curry. Both were outstanding. The sauce and flavors were outstanding. Highly recommend.
